We had the pleasure of staying at this cool hotel last night and we were thrilled to have found it! The decor is funky and fun whilst being very tasteful and the welcome we received on arrival was extremely welcoming. Our room was cosy and quiet — even though we were on the ground floor near the bar. The breakfast was simple but more than adequate and very well presented. And one real commendation is that I had unknowingly left a favourite blazer in the bar the previous evening but discovered it hanging on the coat peg waiting for me in the morning! Really impressive service!
All in all I would highly recommend The Gyle and we will definitely be returning.

We stayed at this facility 3 times during December. This is a brand new boutique facility. Scottish themed with some quirky interior design elements. Really nice stay. Will be back and would most definitely recommend this little gem. Location is perfect for a couple of days stay in London. I mentioned to management the need for a flat pillow. By the time I returned I was presented with the much needed pillow. Thank you to management and staff for a great stay and hope to be back soon.

Hotel in a great location at a good price. The rooms are small and the bathroom even more but at least there is cleanliness. The people at the front desk are very pleasant and helpful. Missing the Wi-Fi in the room.

A hotel, small but charming! I've stayed four nights, I the service has been very good. The breakfast limited in variety, but acceptable do Not expect more for the price they ask for. That if is very well connected, metro and train at just 100 metres.

The hotel location is excellent, in a quiet park right next to King's Cross station. Breakfast was typical English-tasty and nutritious and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the cheapest room, which is located on the lowest floor and has a shared shower and toilet with the other two rooms. Towels were new every day. If you do not mind lowcost accommodation and at the same time you do not want to live in the hostel, this hotel is right for you.

The Hotel is great placed, but also very dirty. It's crumbs on the bedside table was not, floor was really clean. The bathroom looked so dirty. For me and my two buddies it was enough. We had a room in a 3 bed. The room was actually beds too small for 3, so it was very tight. The room also has a flat screen and a closet (where we had always afraid, he falls apart because he had no rear wall). The room was thanks to intense heating warm (February), the air is very dry. Shower worked so, so. (The shower head is ceiling mounted). Included in the price a Breakfast was. Since it has little space, it may be that you have to wait. The Breakfast consists of Toast, Cornflakes, ham, boiled Egg and a sausage. The coffee was as expected, bad. On the table, it has Butter and Marmalade. The people at the Desk were friendly, and it also has a space where you can store your Luggage before and after check-in. For people the little claims have, it should be enough.

Good budget hotel apr'11 literally 2 minutes walk from kings cross station, breakfast provided friendly service. Planning to use again.

Cheap and warm, not the maximum cleanliness but acceptable. Very close to the underground of King's Cross where many lines pass by. Good breakfast.

Excellent location and clean small room, Breakfasts were the highpoint as they were real full English breakfasts. Clean linen but the shower was quite dirty and mouldy — very poor. Easy walk to the stations and handy to the rest of the city because of the variety of tube lines servicing St Pancras/ Kings Cross. Also handy to travel on by train from St Pancras National and International rail stations. I recommend this because of very reasonable rates, breakfasts and location — hard to beat.

I contacted that staff at 11:30 PM in the US to book a room and they claimed that one was available for the following week but advised that I contact them at 8:00 AM London, which was 2:00 AM my time so that they could enter my credit card information in their system. I chose to set my alarm and get up to reserve the room and the woman on the phone said that there were no rooms available and had no explanation for the individuals' comments. This place is not run well and I would not trust them based on this experience.
