Decent price, nice landlady, small clean twin room but warm, next door shouting and banging doors 5am awful should have been thrown out. Glad to get train next morning. Get what you pay for.

Bad service, a nice dump hole.

Well… one of the cheapest place amongst London hotels but above my expectations: — correct Wi-Fi — one clean bathroom/toilet (though very small) — one TV and two relatively comfortable beds Drawback: poor sound isolation Ideal for those who seek comfort while spending the minimum.

Would have given less than 1 star if could. Traveled many times using these types of lodgings and even with cheaper lodgings you received a clean room and the fixings for tea. In addition to my feet getting filthy walking on the floor for 30 minutes there was nothing in the room but a bed, 2 chairs and 2 TV's one sitting on one of the chairs. There must have been a water pump next to our room because when anyone used the water we heard a loud machine noise start up with a clunk and then stop with a clunk. Would never recommend staying here.

You get what you paid for. Rooms are clean. Owners are friendly.

The hotel isn't great, but its in a good central London location. The Wi-Fi didn't work, the bathroom was tiny, no kettle in the room, breakfast not included.

Very small rooms. Be prepared to lift your suitcases up to the 4th floor. Great location!

Location is very near the underground station and is easy to find. The front desk agent was friendly. Check-in was quick and simple. The rooms are very small, but they are clean and perfect if you'll just be using them to sleep in.

Clean rooms and very conveniently​ located for the price. The rooms are pretty tiny, but that's to be expected for a budget hotel in London. It was pretty noisy, both through the walls and the windows, and the staff could be a bit more friendly/helpful, but otherwise a solid choice.

Odour in room, lack of much service (tea, coffee, kettle, cooking facilities). Cramped basement room. Price is only redeeming feature.

Good budget hotel with a fantastic location right near Kings Cross/St Pancras station. Room is extremely small! Basically no room to unpack, but price is good and location is perfect. A couple small pubs around the corner and a great small cafe for a quality, budget English breakfast called The Sandwich Street Kitchen.

Stay was for 1 night and that is all I needed. For a bloke and for money spent AND this is the centre of London, it did exactly as it said on the tin. Room ws clean (ish) but pokey. Dbl be and ensuite b. Room and toilet. Ensuites were "functional". Tip: for warm shower leave runing for 10 mins! Breakfast room in bowels of building and resembled a builders B&B. That said owner let me get on with brrakfast (only me). All. In all a functional facility — would my other half stay there? Yes but blindfolded.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay close to Kings Cross Station this is the Hotel for you! The location is literally 2 minutes from the station. Beware the room had a funky smell and the beds were not posh 5* hotel beds. But do not let this deter you from staying here! I would stay here again if I find myself back in London.

Staff was kind, room was small, bathroom very small, but it was comfortable. The TV was in a great place and the location was pretty close to perfect. However. It was so hot when we visited in September and despite having AC in place, they refused to turn it on. So with our only option being to open the window that's what we were stuck with. Four bees welcomed themselves into the room which created mayhem, albeit a funny story. I had to sleep with a wet towel on me… seriously it was that got and I'm from Texas, I know heat. The corridors are tiny, really tiny. We're not large people at all. Basically you felt like you were suffocating, but the location really helps.

Very central place. Convenient and flexible for travelers, as it is close to King's Cross station. The water pressure in the bathroom is not very high (the top floor). Bear in mind that the rooms are quite small.

Good for the money and can't complain. The location sells the place and I'm happy with the staffs.

SHITE! This is the worst place I have ever stayed, tiny room, filthy curtains, TV did not work, shared toilet was disgusting, rooms shabby, furniture and flooring flaking apart, very noisy strip light and paper thin walls. VERY LOUD door bell with annoying electronic music.

The worst. Accommodation in United Kingdom not e that is a marvel, but no elevator installation, old stairs to third floor, dirt… But the bathroom was a matter apart: hairs in the shower and places to which a cloth has not reached since the hotel opened.
You're always guarded by the owner of the hotel, since there are cameras in the hallways. It gives good Thorn. And the price is very very very expensive (euro 1000 about one week? )

Very old building. You need a huge reform. The ground seems that you are going to fall under the feet. Cleaning regular, made the room every two days. Bathroom small and in the corners of the shower had rust. The first day I had to remove I same hairs of another person from the drain. Small room, unfurnished. The TV did not work. The Wi-Fi was regular room. The only good thing is the location of the hotel, it is in a well communicated area, beside train stations, many lines of metro and bus stop.

A night of London in a double room (140 cm bed) for 25 euro. The price wasn't bad for a night enough. Expect anything, then can it be;) not worse. After all, no mould in the rooms, toilet clean.

This is quite a good Hotel. Our room is clean — if we want to, it is cleaned up every day. You get 2 new towels by asking every 24 hours. The bathroom is very small, but tall enough for one person. It is cleaned every day — and you get a new sheet every day! The carpet in the house is not the newest, but it is cleaned with a vacuum every day too. The breakfast ist very simple. Toast, Marmelade, Tea, Coffe, Milk and Juice and Cornflakes… Enough to start in the day. The Location is at Argyle Square, very close to Kings Cross/St. Pancras Station. Just 2 minutes walk down the street. The windows and the walls are thin — but while our stay there were no loud guests in the house. You can hear the people on the square talking — but when you have been in London for Sightseeing, shopping and adventure the whole day — you are so tired, that sleep comes over you very fast so you do not hear the talkings from the outside. All in all it is a simple hotel — no stars… but clean, friendly staff, good location… ;) The Rooms does exactly look like shown in the pictures. :)

Perfectly good place to sleep and shower.

At 30 pound a night with free breakfast, right across a great park with free gym and 2 mins to Kings cross tube station, we felt like 'Kings' Great and Safe location Freindly Staff Decent infrastructure and Safe.

I've in a lot of hotels around Europe but this was simply a gimick. I booked for a week but I had go and find an other Hotel. It is a pity for such a beautiful city like London to have a creepy hotel like that. The Bed is very uncomftable, the door (if you can say it is a door) is not safe. The bathroom is very small, the TV can only display interference. The only possitive thing was the loacation but the rest is hopeless case.

Stayed in this hotel just last week for 2 nights, this was the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in, convenient for Kings Cross but thats it. The write up on this hotel stated that it had recently been refurbished, where? I couldnt see any clean or decorated part of the building, looked like it hadnt been painted or vacuumed in years There was grafitti on the walls, smear marks of dirt which wouldnt have taken much to wash off or paint over. Shower consisted of a pipe with no shower head on, & mouldy tiles. Fridge didnt work, the springs in the bed mattress were practically coming through. We had a shared toilet, but we were adjacent to a dodgy character who only left his room after midnight & returned at 6 in the morning… even the sign outside was filthy, every other Hotel sign in the street was immaculate. Outside there is an enclosed grass area & there were some strange things that went on through the night there, quite scary really. The owner must have made a curry each day as the smell wafted through the whole hotel all day (& I like curry but not the constant smell of it), he wasnt very helpfull or pleasant either, outside our room was a fire door which he had wedged open with a fire extinguisher! Breakfast. Consisted of a shared box of cornflakes between all guests & the basic quality of bread, dishes were not washed properly, could go on & on & on, didnt plan to stay the 2nd night, but didnt get a chance to book somewhere else as we had a busy 2 days.

Dirty, very dirty. The bathrooms are not cleaned, the carpet is vacuumed and the bedding is not changed. The only thing tolerable breakfast, whenever you are not fixated on the dirt existing also in the dining room. Cheap but not recommended.
