Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a big bonus to this stay. Train station and shops were approx 5 minutes walk. Room was a bit to small for my liking especially with a child. Apart from that it was o. K. Downside to this hotel was there was no air con or a room fridge plus our curtains didn't open. Perhaps it was just our room.

Comfortable room. Parking is hot and miss. Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly.

Great location, bus stop and TFL very close to the building, conveniently accessible on foot. We took advantage of this opportunity throughout the week of the stay.
Nice rooms, spacious enough and well-groomed, provided with everything you need. The hotel is made up of more stables side by side. To have breakfast (if included) you have to go to the main building, 50m, great breakfast.

Ilford is a very nice village, stocked with various shops (recommended sam 0.99), parks (Valentine's park) and restaurants (recommended built costumer).

Me and my son were originally meant to be staying in the Cranbrook hotel but they had double booked us (very common apparently when you read the reviews) we arrived here and were pleasantly surprised the front is smart and clean the reception staff were fantastic and the room is great breakfast was tasty and a good choice shower is even better than ours at home we booked for three nights and this is our second night would book here again.

To flee, very bad experience! First the hotel is located an hour from London in an unwelcoming alley then despite the efforts of the staff members the place is not, contrary to what is indicated, accessible to people with reduced mobility or children using a stroller. Indeed, we were installed in rooms in the basement with a view on a wall and very poorly soundproof, we hear everything that happens in the other rooms?! The room is clean but very rudimentary everything there is BCP too small the only door to the water piece is so narrow that a person with a little overweight or even very large would have trouble passing it. The light was faulty a technician repaired it well Fortunately, the vase seems fragile and has been refixed repeatedly seems t it. The shower has rusted compartments as to the toilet it wobbles at the slightest movement. The Wi-Fi is however excellent and free just like the breakfast which is included in the price which remains very affordable. But this was not our biggest disappointment, which deeply shocked us is that when we arrived while we had settled the note via PayPal on Agoda, it was claimed to us £50 per room deposit guarantee thing that was not foreseen in our budget.

Room is decent although slightly dated. Breakfast is decent. Beds are very firm. Washroom is tiny.

Great staff on reception and breakfast is nice as a help yourself buffet. Rooms are nicely furnished. Starting to show signs of wear and tear though so I hope they keep on top of it. Would happily stay here again if I'm in the area.

We had one very bad night here but it was due to the inconsiderate people in the room above us. The staff did nothing to prevent their noise but they did refund us for the night as a gesture of good will. We stayed for a total of 3 nights and other than the noise on the 2nd night the stay was lovely. Staff were very polite and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned in London.

Nice. A stone's throw from the train station, it is a great solution to visit the City of London, taking advantage of a price of overnight content. By public transport, in fact, you reach the city centre (Victoria St. For example) in 15 minutes. The locals are well taken care of and the services offered are definitely of a good standard. Great free Wi-Fi which offers a crazy data transfer rate! In my stay I opted for a room with two double beds (four people), and the accommodation was definitely good. Great breakfast in perfect English style. The room key is magnetic type with smart card. Value for money/great comfort. I recommend it.

It was just a short stay but it was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spotless. Breakfast tasty. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was very small and didn't even have room for a closet. It was cleaned every day. Breakfast is the same every day. The staff is nice and helpful. Good connection to the city. However, pretty "hot pavement" around the hotel. OK for a few days.

Good hotel for people who soley need a bed for the night. Small and precise. Bed wasn't comfortable but not too uncomfortable either.

Very nice clean rooms staff really polite and sorted me out with parki my which is not very good but they do have alternatives close by. Bed bit hard but slept great. And lovely warm. Rooms.

Great location, less than half an hour by train from Liverpool Street, cheap, clean.
Don't be impressed by the neighborhood. It won't be downtown, but it's a pretty quiet neighborhood. Breakfast is good but there is no choice.

Loved it. The room seemed small to begin with but it had all that I required. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The bathroom and shower were amazing. BREAKFAST! LOVED THE BREAKFAST! So much choice and value for money. Must go back highly recommend. Only problem was a lack of parking.

A place designed just to get your head down, not convenient for a medium/long term stay. There are no king size beds (all double) my back was also aching by the time I woke up. The rooms walls and doors are paper thin so it makes everything from toilets being flushed elsewhere to hearing full blown conversations as guests walk past. I must have got woken up a minimum of 5 times in 1 night. The breakfast buffet is all halal and was edible. Nothing really wow'd me.

We only had a fairly short stay of four nights, but I can only recommend this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel welcome at once. Our room was big enough, very clean with a comfortable bed, an electronic kettle with tea and instant coffee, a TV with Internet access for Netflix (you have to sign in with your own account) and a blow-dryer. The bathroom was also very clean with modern facilities, only the shower didn't give very much water. There was shampoo, body wash, massage soap and shower caps, which were refilled by the room-service every day. The included breakfast offered a very wide choice, from English breakfast to cereal, pastry and fruit yogurt. The food was always warm and freshly prepared. On our last day we still had a whole day in London before our flight back in the evening and it was no problem to leave the luggage at the hotel after checking out.

It's a great hotel. There's parking. The train is 5 minutes on foot.

Hotel 30 minutes away from London but well connected. We arrive in the structure represented in photos (on the site) and make us move into a twin with a room not livable for claustrophobic (in essence was too small for 2 people) this carpet dirty and smelly… On the pillow cover found bloodstains (type CSI) … Good breakfast and proximity to an Italian restaurant (Luigi's) … Conclusions: We could not wait to get out as soon as possible…

It depends a lot of time where the room is in the hotel.
The hotel is made up of several houses located on a quiet side street.
Room 40, for example, is located in a small outbuilding, behind a parking lot, where a truck can park.
The room is simple tourist class, everything is a bit improvised.
The "bath, " however, is a "shower clo. "
The sink is useless, as is the shower cubicle, too narrow for people from 180cm and 100kg.
The buffet for breakfast, like the whole hotel, is ambitious, but then somehow not finished, but goes absolutely fine.
All in all, a simple hotel, for people who want to get involved in something different.

Nice hotel. Exceeded my expectations regarding price/performance ratio. Staff very nice, breakfast very tasty and room clean.

Really a bad … If you're lucky enough to be in the right part of the hotel is nice, though unfortunately it happens at the wrong rooms are really very poor, not clean (just turned down the beds), problems with ants, reception that teases you … really sucks.

I was visiting a friend was staying in and he wasn't happy about services and facilities so he was looking for another hotel. As soon we enter everyone become every quite and start staring at us even they knew my friend is already staying in that hotel.

The best price. For breakfast we had to leave the building where are the rooms, cross the street and go to the front desk located in another building. We had to leave a deposit of £50 per card that opens the room. It is assumed that in a week will you return us the amount through credit card. Otherwise good, attentive and friendly staff and service and cleaning within the acceptable. Not always you could park in the seats reserved for guests, since were some of them occupied by vans and vehicles that were not guests. The hotel is located in the Argyle Street road, just 300 metres from Ilford train station.

Best western hotel Ilford is a great hotel with exceptional value for money. Rooms are comfortable and spacious The beds provide a great sleep and and allows both people lots of space. Both, rooms and ensuite are immaculately clean. The staff are very helpful and polite I have stayed here for the first time and they were able to offer us rooms at a very short notice so thereforeI would most recommend this hotel if you are staying in London!

About 30-40 min from London center. In a pretty decent neighborhood with shops, stores, and restaurants within walking distance.

It's a great hotel but they didn't tell us that they will pay the £20 key charge after the days into our bank account.

After being put here 4 3 days as a last resort would not recommend it 2 anyone above 5 ft tall as being 6ft myself I have 2 duck beneath the shower as it's 2 low, now the really bad point! The food is absolutely terrible they don't have their own restaurant so they order in from a restaurant just across the road. My m8 was being sick this morning along with having the shit s due 2 having chicken breast last nite that was still pink on the inside, u normally have 2 wait more than an hr 4 the food 2 turn up and not 1 meal is worth waiting 4! I went 4 the grilled beef 2 nite and was very surprised that it didn't moo when I cut into it as it was very very pink in the middle at 1 end and red with blood still oozing, potatoe wedges 4 starters was cold and the tiramasu dessert was still frozen with frost on top of it, I think the only food which they got right was a salad but I'm not really into salads as I'm no rabbit. So if you r below 5 and half foot and need 2 diet this could b the place 4 you, if not I'd book elsewhere, the staff were ok ish.

Location is relatively quiet. Staff very friendly. The room is in order. Only the sink in the bathroom is tiny. Brush your teeth and shave summarizes impossible, although the bathroom is nice and large.

Always buffet was small but OK, the room was clean but small. Defects were corrected immediately. Staff was friendly.

Liar and thieves! stayed there many times with my partner. Stole over £1000 worth of clothes from me. Wore an item in front of my partner, then threatened him when he said he's calling the police. stay here only if you want to be robbed blind. cleaners stole over £250 from my partner's wallet money from my partners wallet.

Stay if you dare. We has a pile of sick by our hotel door, which was still there when we left in the morning, we had ants in our bedroom and bathroom. Staff are not helpful. stay away.

I stayed at the hotel for one night and was very impressed. It is split over 2 sites either side of a quite back road. From what I can tell it has just been refurbished (to a very high standard). There are Samsung smart TV's in every room. My room had a lovely shower and nice comfortable beds. My only let down was you might have to cross the road to check in/out and breakfast. The breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. Would defiantly visit again.

Worst hotel ever, stole my phone and money from my wallet when I got room service and refused to check cctv or allow me to speak to manager. Worst hotel ever.

I stayed for one night and I was very pleased with the service I received I did not stay for breakfast but the room was very comfortable one thing I would like to see fix is the shower I could not get the shower to give a right temperature.
