Lovely hotel, rooms (especially bathrooms) could do with modernisation. Food was very good and staff are friendly but don't seem to know what they are doing.

So old and dated. Service at breakfast in the morning is pretty bad. Rude employees, very abrupt and act like you are an inconvenience to them. Not great!

Came here for my mum's birthday for afternoon tea with a party of 6 and it was the worst service possible. Only supplied enough food for 4. Had to go and ask for teaspoons as none provided. When I went to ask for extra tea for us we were only given one small teapot. No one ever came to see if we were ok and needed anything in the whole time we were there. None of the food was served on a tea stand which you would expect for "Afternoon tea"it was basically put on a dinner plate with no effort. When we complained to staff that this is not the same as the previous year all we told "I wasn't here last year! ". Will not be returning nor would I recommend.

My son's took me there for mothers day lunch in March. Parking easy and the grounds are lovely at the hotel. Restaurant service was excellent, however menu needs improving for the price and the restaurant lacked atmosphere. However this improved as more people came in to eat. Maybe some gentle background music would help.

Went for an early fathers day lunch, the food was amazing and the staff are really pleasant. The atmosphere was very relaxed and very reasonably priced, we will definitely be returning.

We have just had my daughter's wedding reception here and I could not fault the service at all. The staff were amazing and looked after us so well. We had a few little hitches that they ironed out without any fuss whatsoever and were so lovely. I would recommend this to anyone. The food was lovely and plentiful. My only (small) criticism was that the ladies loos were not very welcoming. There was no hand cream or tissues; it lacked the little touches. I had noticed this the day before so took a basket of toiletries for the lady guests which went down really well. Just a little tip for the future. Overall an amazing experience. Thanks.

Poor customer service. Arrived at 9.27pn to be informed that I had missed the opportunity to eat at the hotel. Nobody bothered to offer any alternative options even though I had travelled 4 hours before my arrival. Computer says no.

Visited here for a 10th wedding anniversary party. Visibility of staff an issue on arrival but I couldn't fault the service and the taste of the food and buffet. Courtyard could have done with some care and attention. Would come here again.

The staff were great, the golf course was great, hotel is a little dated but its clean and tidy and ok for short stop over food is OK.

Lovely venue for a social event amidst the golf course. Attended 2 such events within a couple of weeks or so. We used the same function room which was well decorated & perfect for the number of guests attending with easily accessible toilet facilities, also in excellent condition. The food & drink both were top notch. Customer service was great — the staff were most accommodating. Highly recommend.

I played golf at Coulsdon Manor. The course was in poor condition. After playing trying to find an area where we as a group could sit together was very difficult. The food was good, although some of our jacket potatoes were undercooked and had to be returned. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bit hard to find but parking was easy. Venue was nice and room used for the event (dinner dance) was more than adequate.

Lovely place to stay, though beware late, loud wedding parties!

Very nice fish, salmon and friendly staff. Really good hall for events.

Sadly let down with our stay, rooms were shabby, furniture was in shoddy condition. However the staff were lovely and accommodating were they could.

Reasonable 3 course meal. Starter of beetroot/blue cheese — pastry tough. Risotto delicious, side salad — very uninteresting — a plate of leaves! Dessert — pear tatin — tasty but pastry not cooked underneath. Could have been so much better. Probably won't return.

Brief visit for a booked event. Nice venue.

This place is simply exquisite, the staff n the place its self. Yeah, ama go bak there.

Attend a Christmas party here. Had a good dinner, with a decent bar.

Only played the golf course — ok condition for winter. Greens were quite slow and a couple of them in terrible state and fairly muddy throughout the course (there had been a fair amount of rain for the week before).

Attended for a social event and stayed over in the hotel. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. However at around 530am the hotel heating came on making a loud buzzing noise. The room quickly became stuffy Bathroom was poor. No water pressure in the shower and only a dribble of water came Breakfast ok. But probaby better off going to the local Witherspoons. Hotel felt tired, aging decor. Hey.

Peaceful place to stay or even to go and have lunch with the family.

The rooms are dated. The TV only has one channel you can't change it with the remote or on the side of the tv. Showers are good nice and hot. There's a good choice for breakfast and it's all nice staff are friendly.

Golf course was great. Amenities need a little TLC. Staff were very friendly and affable.

The hall where we had a function was absolutely gorgeous with a great garden.

Fabulous nights sleep and the setting stunning… breakfast filling… the staff a credit to the hotel… Will be coming back… ☺

Loved staying at this hotel so clean all staff so friendly and the best bed ever.

Not stayed myself but my grandparents stay regularly and enjoy he hotel. Recently had a family Christmas meal which was wonderful. The food has always been lovely when visiting my grandparents for meals there.

I don't know what people expect the hotel is a little tired, but the staff and food were excellent. Great value for money I was on weekend golf break and cannot wait to go again which will happen soon.

I booked in there on the saturday via wikipedia they changed my date they changed me date because it was wrongly book, he rearrange my date and they still charged us double. The service was 1 star.

Nice place, lovely grounds especially if you like golf. restaurant staff and front desk were lovely and helpful. Bar staff a bit slow and having ordered our drinks then sat in the restaurant… I had to ask for our now poured drinks could be brought to our table. Very clean however think any guest would want more than I pillow on their bed… only 2 pillows for a double and a few tatty scatter cushions. They dont help you sleep? Bathrooms could do with updating. The shower was adequate but old and the hairdryer must have been invented just after electricity was discovered. Would visit again and would love to see these improvements made.
