Beautiful lunch at The Dewdrop today — the food was delicious with generous portion sizes. The atmosphere, decor and service is spot on. Drinks were fresh and chilled!

Myself and my friend went to the Dewdrop yesterday for lunch and we’re totally blown away but the stunning food and exceptional service! Our waitress (Emma I think her name was) went above and beyond to make our experience there one to remember! So much so we are desperate to rebook the next time we have a day off together! I genuinely can’t wait to return and couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Just had a lovely meal at the Dewdrop celebrating my daughters 18th birthday. I couldn’t fault the food or the service, would highly recommend!

We had a pre Christmas lunch for 6 people yesterday and the food was fantastic. The presentation of each meal was beautiful. The service was great. I have never been to this pub before, but my brother has been there several times now and he and his wife have enjoyed every meal. There is a wonderful ambiance. I could not fault it at all. Thank you Dewdrop staff.

Good quality restaurant food. Broad range of all types of drinks, Gins, real ales, broad wine list, Peroni, local cider. Well presented, courteous and friendly staff. Clean and modern inside with rural touches. Nice sunny patio/garden. Dog friendly in bar and garden. Accommodation is modern clean and comfortable. Recommend.

We were a party of 16 tonight for a friends surprise 50th (14 adults & 2 children). We enjoyed Fabulous food, we ate inside and moved out to the garden. Excellent service. Beautiful modern venue in a great location. Highly recommend couldn't fault any aspect. Thank you for making our evening exceptional and special. Will recommend and will be back soon. Thank you. Great place to stay with very warm friendly staff and nothing is to much trouble. The food is very good, good choice and always cooked fresh. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The manager was welcoming; nothing was too much trouble; all the staff were polite and helpful. We had evening meals twice and each time the food was delicious! Breakfasts were very nice too. Our room was comfortable and there were plenty of toiletries provided. We would highly recommend the Dewdrop Inn and hope to stay there again in the future.

My wife and l have eaten and drank here many times. Out of 10+ meals, l am yet to be disappointed. Good food, good service, sensibly priced.

Distinctly disappointed with our room here. Musty room aroma, small room, questionable cleanliness, lumpy bed, tiny TV (smaller than my computer screen! ) and a ground floor view over the car park. Definitely not worth £100, even with breakfast included. A complaint to the manager/owner yielded an immediate £20 discount and an admission that the room was not up to a standard that would command the original asking price. So, word of warning… don't accept room number 9! It is distinctly sub-par and overpriced. Moving on to dinner, this was also a disappointing affair. The Camembert starter was adequate but the rib eye steak main course was underwhelming. A taste of burnt charcoal spoiled an otherwise well cooked and quality cut of meat. My fiance and I both ordered the same rare steak and neither of us eat more than a couple of mouthfuls. We are not picky eaters by any means and not apt to complain without basis. The odd flavour and smell was simply too off-putting. After pointing out the issue, the waitress was gracious enough to take both steaks off the bill for us. The decor and ambience in the restaurant was lovely and we rued the missed opportunity for the establishment to live up to our expectations. We booked on the basis of previous reviews but felt very let down. Overall, it spoiled a much anticipated birthday celebration. It was not an experience I would seek to repeat even at a steeply discounted price.

Good quality gastro pub, probably as good if not better as any in the area. Their food offering is very good, their beer well kept and the staff attentive. Well worth a visit.

Called in today for lunch, welcomimg staff, nice table, very nice dinning rooms. Food was well cooked and well presented, gammon and ducks eggs very good. Overall a very pleasant lunch experience at an acceptable price Terence Smith.

Lovely attentive staff. Food was good. Went on a busy Sunday lunch time as part of a large group. We were served promptly, all enjoyed a great starter each with us choosing a range of options. Everyone enjoyed the beef meal saying it was very tender. Lamb meals had mixed reviews.

The food was nice however there were not many vegetarian options. It would have been nice to see more than one choice on the lunchtime menu.

Went there today for sunday dinner portion sizes are small and you dont get a choice of veg it all arrives already mixed and by the look of it pre microwaved. Overall not really good value for money, also it advertised outside 1 price for lunch then once theyve got you inside they then tell you its a higher price. Please sort out your signage as its very misleading.

We have eaten here on 2-3 occasions within the last 2 months. Each time the food and service has been spot on! great food great service well worth booking.

This place was really good under the last owner. So I thought, give it a try. Mistake. My Mousaka was in a bowl. Odd. Top was burnt black, covering a bowl a soupy mush, and had far tto much cinnamon. Small salad and a cup of chips. It was sent back. I then had a sunday roast. Raw beef burnt Yorkshire pudding two roast potatoes and separate steamed veg. My guest had Lasagne which was burnt on all its edges, not normal. Refused the bill and left hungry. The place being empty on a Sunday lunch time should have warned me off going in. We left hungry.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the surroundings pleasant and comfortable. After a busy stressful week at work, the change in gear was exactly what we needed. It reminded me of dining in France or Italy, where the emphasis is on the entire dining experience and not ‘Fast Food’ hot seating, as it is far too often the case in the UK. It was a pleasure to be able to relax and not be rushed.
