Charged us £15 per head for this! ‘Battered Chicken Fillet Burger in a Brioche Bun’ 😂 Absolutely disgusting place, they ruined our day and not to mention they chucked our wedding cake! For the start our guests were in the wrong place to greet us. The last table to be served was 45mins after the first (there were less than 50 guests) meaning it was all cold and they had to leave there food. The table wine was served after people had finished eating! As bride and groom we were moving tables etc as they hadn’t! We had our co-ordinator lie to our face about our suppliers saying they weren’t there when we had seen them. Our day ran that late that we were paying for external suppliers to be there for nearly 2 hours and not using them and had to pay extra for others! Communication is shocking and after giving us all the excuses and not even saying sorry, now they are ignoring us! Avoid this ‘venue’! The only good and decent person throughout this has been Katie Hughes, but she needs to get a new job so she’s not dragged down from the awful management!

Our Wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Abie and Sean who went above and beyond for us to ensure our day was amazing in every single way. We cannot thank you enough. We were the first wedding party staying in the new bridal villa, which is exclusive use to wedding parties and a new feature at the Granary. We were promised by Khalid, the director, that the work would be completed and the villa would be exclusively ours. Honestly it couldn't have been further from the truth. Building work in the villa was not completed after we promised it would be. We were told that the kitchen would not be in use, which was fine, but every other room would be including the lounge. Builders worked until late on the Thursday night getting the lounge ready for us which is appreciated but still, it was a building site. On my wedding morning, I had to go around cleaning dust off surfaces so my make up artist had somewhere clean to put her equipment. No blame with the builders, it was not there fault however if Khalid was honest with me we would of got ready elsewhere. I was also promised by Khalid external building work would not be taking place on my wedding day, which again was a lie. Major Health and Safety issues were also apparent which caused injury to my guests which is being taken further. A guest fell over a wall due to the grounds being in darkness, we were told there would be lighting and the paths would be lit, however they were not causing accidents.

Really excited for our wedding in June. The new renovations are going to be great and make the venue even better! look forward to seeing all the new changes. Great friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble.

The only reason I enjoyed my self was because of my colleagues they really helped me get through last night. Firstly my colleague was missing her main ALL night she ordered something different to set menu, never got it, so she ended up with the same as me roast beef which was alright here was as though as old boots, her York pudding was so hard and black at the bottom would have broken my teeth as I’ve got lose teeth. Not to mention I GOT ACCUSED of stealing her food but management despite I had ordered it and I was the LAST to get mine! How dare he? Then he stared at me a lot, looking at me as if it wa my fault. I PAID £25 for this experience I was thinking of having my wedding there when I first walked in was absolutely gorgeous but no way, a after all that being accused of stealing a colleagues food INFRONT of the head mistresses of TWO schools. A teacher, a TA and an EYFS student how HUMILIATING for me right? And how awful for my colleague To not even get her actual meal how hard is it to cook a steak? I cook them all the tjen would have taken them like 10’mins to run to Tesco and get one and 3 mins each side to cook her medium steak. Dear me! NEVER sgain hurt is an understatement.

We got married here on 29th October I highly recommend it was perfect in every way. Katie was amazing from start to finish with every little detail we can’t thank her enough. The room was set out perfectly just how we wanted it. The food was amazing all of our guests commented on how nice it was. The run of the day was perfect it ran so smoothly. Thankyou love Jason and Emma Cox.

Had a wonderful wedding on 2nd October! I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff for making our day Amazing. I would like to especially thank Katie, she has been amazing from start to finish! She helped us when we had to change our wedding date and she worked so hard on the day to make sure our day went perfect! Thank you so much!

We have to say we had the most amazing day, it was absolutely perfect, everything went just as we wanted and planned it to. The staff were phenomenal and made sure that everything went perfectly. All our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and also commented on how smoothly and perfectly the day went. The staff worked so hard to make sure our wedding was perfect, I often wish I could relive the day all over again again. It really was everything we dreamed of and more. Nothing was too much for the staff.

I had the most beautiful day the granary done us so proud! The food was amazing everyone that came said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. My wedding planner Kate was amazing she went above and beyond. The room was beautiful. Thank you so much for making our wedding so amazing.

My car broke down here a few days ago, the staff were so lovely & polite. Very lucky for us we broke down here! Staff got us drinks whilst we waited for our recovery truck and checked we were ok. Lovely place and very friendly staff who were more than accomadating will definitely come back and try the restrauant once were aloud! Thank you so much again for all your help xxx.

We recently got married at The Granary and planned it all within a month or so. Katie was exceptional in helping us plan our perfect day in light of the current circumstances. She showed us she truly cared and nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding day was amazing, the food was gorgeous and such huge portions too! Thank you so much!

Visited this hotel a couple of months ago and the room was abit messy and rubbish still in the bins from the previous stay. The worst part was there was still smears of human waste across the toilet basin. We raised a complaint and the hotel didn’t believe us which I’m very angry about, next time I’ll take pictures and post on here maybe? The complaint took over a month to resolve, only as I sent about 4/5 chaser emails. So good luck if you have a complaint as they won’t believe you!

This hotel was spotless and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Me and fiancee went here 2 years ago, and it was a truly beautiful meal, went back last week and it was truly awful, my first pint was cloudy and off, the bar man was brilliant and changed it to a different beer straight away and said sorry, we then went for our meal.
the menu was tiny very little choice, the starter was very tasty (mushroom with goats cheese) then our main came, my good lady had the steak and Guinness pie which was so sweet, and she was unable to finish it (she wasnt the only person, another gentleman there left his as well) I had the chicken in a creamy garlic sauce, the chicken was lovely and so juicy but the sauce was just pouring cream (it did have slices of garlic in it but no flavour) we was going to have a dessert and ordered another pint, which was cloudy and disgusting so didn't drink it and just paid and left.
we then went up the road to the hare and hound and had a beautiful dessert and drinks, not posh (like the granary used to be) but we could eat and drink.

Everything especially poor customer service. Complaints not dealt with and emails ignored!

I wouldn’t recommend going here the food is vile the staff haven’t got a nice word to say the food is shocking for the price…
The drinks are over priced plus I heard they had the bailiff there not so long ago…
When you complain they ain’t interested also don’t get back in touch with you so if I was you I wouldn’t book to go here or spend the money to have ya wedding or any other special occasion here…

Poor service, poor food and if you consider this to eat based on their displayed trip advisor don’t, it’s changed hands and they are riding on the success of previous owners, not professional and I’d not recommend this place.

The food was great as were the staff. 13 of us in the path to celebrate our golden wedding. We all had a very enjoyable afternoon. Thanks to everyone involved.

Absolutely terrible xmas dinner with Santa we got there at 12 nothing ready food was out on carvery we finally had food at 2 it was freezing my wife didn't even have hers total disaster we walked out early as did others and a lot were complaining. Never again.

What an amazing day we had yesterday celebrating our wedding reception at the Granary. Special thank you to Jo and Katie for all their organising, you both kept us at ease and nothing was too much trouble. Also thank you to all our staff our food was outstanding and overall we want to do it all again.

Delighted to see under the new chef team the kitchen is back to its very best a poor 12 months previous. Excellent food last night and new menu is back to what you’d expect from The Granary! Looking forward to coming back in September.

Just had a two night stay at the Grannary and would certainly recommend this hotel. Lovely atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. A comfortable and cosy little hotel with amazing food.

Absolutely disgusting £35 a head for a do with an EVENING MEAL… and they served a handful of rank fries and 3 chicken strippers, absolute joke. It was advertised as a proper sit down meal with some singers and it’s turned out to be a child’s birthday party shocking. I honestly don’t know how the waitresses had the guts to serve that food because it was SO embarrassing. … Joke.

Good place to go. More team work needed. Service ok. Food well prepared. Good for weddings. Staff courteous and happy to serve. Easy access. Plenty of parking but probably benefit from booking. Overall nice clean place.

A great place for a wedding venue. But the outside space is not utilised due to only one set of tablets and chairs. So the afternoon wedding meal was finished and we had to all leave the room whilst it was prepared for the evening event; so 100 people are expected to stand up outside which is fine for the able bodied but what about those who are not. O yes I forgot you can sit on the wall outside and I'm not joking. For a venue like this you expect and don't get a lot of customer care.

Not the best today for a big family birthday meal. Service was awful despite the fact they could see we had a 2 year old in our party. Drinks finally arrived half way through main course. We abandoned starter plates to go and. Get carvery as no-one cleared them. Ran out of plates on carvery and had to ask for gravy. Food was okay. Luckily there are plenty of other local restaurants who do Sunday lunch as we won't be rushing back.

I love the Sunday lunches so decided to book afternoon tea yesterday for my parents anniversary gift, so myself, both parents with my 2 children attended. I booked 3 afternoon teas and 2 cream teas for the children, it cost £61.75. Absolutely disgraceful, hardly any food, one scone each for the girls cream tea, 2 pictured in the advertisement. We were the only people there, lots of staff passed us by not even a smile. We were left until the end to be asked if we wanted more tea or coffee, we had run out of milk in the meantime. I will never attend again for afternoon tea as very over priced for what we received. Very disappointed.

We got married here on Friday 6th July and wow just wow! Our day was everything we could have dreamed of and more! Pippa, you really was amazing at making sure all of our plans were in place, listening to my thoughts and bringing them to life, explaining how the day would go and giving me the confidence of just how great the day would be. You went over and above to ensure I felt confident and calm on my special day. Sarah, you were absolutely fantastic! I have had so many comments from friends and family saying just how amazing you were! You made the day run smoothly and nothing was too much trouble! All the work that both Pippa, Sarah and all of the rest of the staff at the granary put in behind the scenes is just amazing. From the food to the venue and all of the staff everything was perfect! Our day was perfect, everyone had such an amazing time and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart xx.

A nice little family owned hotel. The rooms are all on one level in a separate annexe. They are clean and modern with a decent level of finish. The hotel is situated in a beautiful rural setting with good access to main arterial routes. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is if a good quality with decent sized portions. Al in all no too bad.

Room needs upgrading, cleaning needs to be improved. Room full of cobwebs, especially the bathroom. Not enough tea bags & milk provided in rooms. Had to ask for toilet rolls, was given some, then when cleaners went in they removed them. The breakfasts are dis-organised & most of the hot food was dried out. The upside of things that all the staff were very polite & helpful. The bar food was nice. Great parking facilities.

We went for a Sunday lunch carvery. Quite good value 3 courses for £19.99. The table settings and decor are typical of a hotel restaurant. The food was good, but not exceptional with a choice of three meats and a good range of vegetables. The beef was a little red for my liking, but would suit many people. The roast parsnips were slightly soggy on the outside and al dente in the middle. Otherwise the veg was cooked nicely. Service was very good.

I went here for a friend's wedding and I can't fault it. The food was excellent and the service was perfectly smooth. I'm now considering visiting the restaurant again for a special occasion.

Visited for a wedding and stayed over. Beds are quite hard so is difficult to get to sleep. The only "family" room consists of a double and a single bed so you had better hope you are a family of 3, as we are a 4 they provided us with another mattress but the room has insufficient space for one or even a travel cot for that matter. We left the towels in the bath, as they ask if you want them changed to do so, we returned to find the towels still in the bath. The breakfast was ok, although limited choices for continental and cooked breakfast wasn't hot. When we sat down for our dinner the carvery was disappointing. Roast potatoes, roast parsnips and stuffing were all burnt. For a restaurant that is supposed to have 2 AA rosettes I would have expected a lot better. When you do raise concerns to the management, you are told we will see what we can do. When we went to checkout nothing had been done so was left to the morning staff to sort. Not very professional in my opinion. The reception, waiting and bar staff were all very friendly and that was the only saving grace really. Over all it is definitely not worth the money especially as they charge a premium for wedding guests.

The room smelt of damp. Out dated rooms. The bar and meals were good. Accommodation was not.

We had our wedding here yesterday and it was amazing. Pippa and Jeff are amazing. Pippa sorted out everything leading up to the wedding and Jeff ran the wedding for us. They were both great and everything ran so smoothly. Jeff ensured that my partner and I were the ones making decisions (as opposed to bossy guests) and he also made sure that we always had a drink and were the first to be offered food which just meant that whilst we were being pulled off for photos etc, we knew that we weren't going to miss out on food or anything Thank you, The Granary for an amazing and beautiful venue and a special thanks to Jeff and Pippa for all they did.

Took our niece for lunchtime carvery… absolutely gorgeous… service excellent couldn't do enough for us especially requested chocolate brownie for my nieces desert even though not on menu. Afternoon teas also available at reasonable price.

Came to view this place for a possible wedding venue. Rooms are clean and tidy, the bar area looks to have been recently overhauled and is a nice space to be in. The function rooms are large enough, could maybe do with a lick of paint here mainly due to the fact it hosts many weddings, but its not that bad. Staff were nice and the venue is set in the countryside.

Poor service, otherwise okay We booked a Groupon afternoon tea deal here. Generally good food and beverages but cleanliness and service could be a lot better.

Food was great but service was absolutely awful. Grumpy manager and they just got worse when made them aware of it unbelievable!

GREAT little hotel staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly they made our stay pleasant we are going to go back special thanks to little Chloe.

A lovely quiet place for a short break. Convenient for touring Hereford and Worcester. Clean and comfortable motel style rooms. Lovely restaurant meals.

Lovely food at a reasonable price.

We stayed here using a free voucher we were given. The staff were very friendly and helpful when making the booking. The room we had was okay, but it wasn't anything special. In general it seemed if it could do with a bit of refurbishment. Everything was clean, but just a bit tatty. The breakfast was however really good. On the last night the Wi-Fi stopped working, and as the mobile reception was pretty poor, it was quite annoying.

Booked here last minute as a stop over for work. I checked in the evening and reception was friendly and welcoming even informing me that my room was ready with the heating on warming up (note I only booked online around 30mins prior). Went to check out the restaurant and the manager there happily saw me letting me know the chef is clearing up but if I wanted to order something they would stay and cook it for me. The food was lovely, fine dining, lovely ambience and service on site. Thank you to the chef for staying that bit longer, the whole team and of course the lovely room upon arrival.

After 6 years of having our Christmas party's in the restaurant at the Granary, we shall never be returning! The service was appalling. We waited for 1hr 20mins for the starters which were not as stated on the menu. No complimentary bread and oil offered. Tables not dressed for Christmas. We preordered the meals to make sure that they did not run out of any choices. We were not asked how we wanted our fillet steaks cooked. They were bought out cremated, no vegetables either. Tracy the manager tried to deal with the complaint offering to bring out other steaks which took ages. We had gone past the point of eating. No attempt was made to really deal with the issue apart from giving us a refund. Staff were rude and unattentive. Absolutely gutted. We will never return. Scott & Ollie who left were amazing and looked after us. Would never recommend the Granary after tonight!

Had ran out of 2 draught beers on our arrival. Food slow to come out, waited nearly an hour before getting the deserts. Had ran out of chocolate brownie desert and custard. Given dirty side plates. Floor beneath and around table covered in food. Drinks were ordered that never reached the table. Staff running round like headless chickens, however they still had time to take drinks out the back to the kitchen staff. Hand dryer broken in the men's toilets.

Stayed for two nights B+B as a party of four, the reception was welcoming the bedrooms were clean and comfortable but the beds and pillows were hard. I had to use my torch on my phone to shave as there was no light above the washbasin. The room was cold when we arrived but an electric rad was quite effective. The breakfast was lovely, we had an evening meal in the restaurant which left us disappointed it had the distinct feeling that it was the chef's night off. The service was good but some of the meals were not as we would expect, I had to ask them to remove yellow! watercress from my plate. I don't think we would be eating an evening meal there again. Would we return? I don't think so.

Stayed here for my 30th. Great place to stay, friendly staff, great with my 6 year old boy and let him feed the sheep. Food spot on and a played a part in a fantastic birthday weekend.

A second visit tonight A brilliant meal. The service was a bit slow. But excellent food would give it 100% but when hubby went to pay the bill? He got confused with tens n twenty. Notes? Only hope the young man really knows it was genuinely mistake. My husband would never cheat. We are the older generation And good standards. The meal was ecstatic n would love it all over again My point lol. My husband got confused with the bill and a sad drive home. Chris xxx .

Was just ok. Not worth the money. Would have rather spent it elsewhere if we had known. Decor seemed miles out of date. Cobwebs above our table on the wall light and speaker. Blue tack up on the wooden wall features. Cutlery water marked. Lighting was nice though. Food distinctly average. Had the duck that was over cooked making it tough no pink at all. The fenel was nice in it. Wife had risotto which looked like porridge with oven baked cheesy bites swimming in it and some old vine tomatos on top. Had the chicken leg for starter but found the chicken tastless as was the beetroot but what you could taste was the goats cheese mouse which consumed every other Ingrediant on the plate. The other starter was salmon which was ok but didn't go with the strong salty capers and the rye bread just seemed pointless. Breadboard was nice to start. I like oven bread though. There was loads of olives too. Beer and wine was good. Had just enough to cover over the averagness of this pub food made to look fancy.

Attended a function for a christening there. Ample space, great views ideal for parties with big numbers. Cannot comment on the prices but seemed good value.

We were at The Granary for our daughters wedding and stayed overnight. This was the ideal wedding venue. Organisation by the hotel's staff was superb and filled us with confidence. Facilities were excellent and all food served was hot and tasty. Drinks were reasonably priced, compared with alternative nearby venues. Bedrooms were recently refurbished but nothing special, but we only needed them to sleep in after a full day's celebrations, so they were more than adequate. Breakfast was served as a buffet and was very good.

Easy to access and friendly staff. Attended for a work event which included a hot buffet.

We went for dinner on a voucher from Groupon. There was a good choice and the staff were really friendly, they couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. The food was absolutely out of this world!

Not bad, clean, warm and comfortable rooms. Food’s good, we had fillet steak which was prepared as requested (medium). Deserts are also yummy! Service good, food cooked from scratch so be prepared to wait a little.

Great stay rooms comfortable and spacious. Food and staff brilliant nothing too much trouble, looking forward t visiting there again, will recommend this place t everyone.

Good food at a good price, friendly staff and recently had major refurbishment. Not the most characterful building if you like olde world Tudor timbered charms, but still a very nice place to eat and one of our regulars.
