Very Ambient atmosphere. Loved the open fire in the Reception area. I stayed 3 nights last week. Very relaxing and great Breakfasts. Comfy bed and warm room. What’s not to like?

Had a fantastic meal, beautifully presented and tasted as it looked.
would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Beautiful black and white timbered hotel and restaurant. Our room was very characterful. The slope on the floor had to be experienced.

Wesley House is a lovely, almost fine dining, restaurant on the Main Street in Winchcombe. We sat and had a drink by the fire while they took our order which was a really nice way to start the night. Moved into the main dining area for our starters and the room is a little over the top with fairy lights. Generally, the feel of the place isn’t overly consistent — couldn’t quite understand what they were going for. Started with a baked Camembert and bread. The cheese could have been warmer, but it was tasty nonetheless. And the bread was crispy, fresh and delicious. For mains, we ordered a sirloin steak and the halibut. Both were really well cooked and delicious. Healthy servings too, considering it’s quite upmarket. The food was really good, the service was nice, but it was a little overpriced for the quality. Still a very nice place for a weekend dinner!

Old place full of character. Really great place to stay. Well kept and in keeping with the character. My downside was the bed was not the best… but did the job none the less as I was flat out…

We went on a Tuesday night for a friends 40th. The atmosphere was somewhat lacking as it wasn't a busy night and there was no background music. The guy who looked after us didn't have the warmest of welcomes but mellowed as the evening went on and overall the service was exceptional. The food was very very good, although the black pudding on the scallop starter didn't come through quite enough and was maybe too crisp. Steak was amazing and perfectly cooked as were the trimmings! Would return again although would like to go on a busier night.

Whenever I'm asked where is good to eat I always recommend the Wesley. And I live in central Cheltenham! The head chef is superb and I have given up looking at the menu and instead I ask the waiting staff to ask Cedrik to just cook me whatever he wants to and it's always amazing. However, I visited on crutches with a broken ankle a couple of times and it was only then I noted how difficult it is when you are mobility challenged-so many stairs! I often think I would prefer a table in the front, perhaps by the fire anyway and particularly so whilst I'm struggling. I do think they are missing a trick with not having tables in the front as it always looks empty and not necessarily worth stopping in. This makes it great for those of us who know better (no need to book) but I do think that's a bit mental.

I'm gluten free and was very glad to be offered a Sunday roast beef lunch complete with gluten free gravy and cauliflower cheese. The whole meal was delicious and I was looked after beautifully by a really lovely waitress.

I have been visiting the Wesley House for over 12 years and I would honestly say it is one of our favourite places to eat & drink. Every single meal that we have ever had there has been simply amazing, the service is exceptional from the moment that you walk through the door. We love the new Coffee Shop, it's great for a light lunch. Very good value for money and it maintains the same very high standard of service as the other venues.

We are at the Wesley House bar and grill. Lovely food, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended. There's a restaurant next door that's more up market, heard very good things but didn't eat there on this occasion.

Every time we go we have a good meal, excellent service and cant Wait till the next time!
