The railway station is 700 metres from Thistle Express Swindon, with a 1-hour train connection to London Paddington. Oxford is 30 miles from the property, while Reading is 40 miles away.

Would not rate this hotel. Stayed with my 4 month old and had to leave at an earlier date which I had been refused to have refunded the two extra nights I had not stayed. I requested to have a kettle in my room and I did not get one so was unable to feed my daughter. They took two payments from me for the hotel and charged me extra to get into my room early after being told 3 different check in times. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Absolutely appalled.
Good size rooms, nice and clean. Staff excellent, helpful and friendly. Asked for an extra pillow and it was put in our room whilst we were out — thank you Cold tap on bath and cold setting on shower, both pump out scalding hot water! You have to run the cold tap a very LONG time to get the temperature down. I filled the bath twice before cold water came through. I'd be really worried about anyone getting in the shower without checking the temperature first — it is really really very hot, enough to cause injury. Staff are aware as it was them that told us to run the taps for a good few minutes so obviously a known issue. Other guests at breakfast also discussed same concerns. After an evening out the scalding water was back. Very hot water to flush toilet, very bizarre! No extractor fan in bathroom so it was like a sauna after running off and wasting 2 bath fulls of very hot water. Warm night, too noisy to have windows open, no air conditioning but we did have a fan in the room. Rooms poor noise insulation, you xan hear next door in their bathroom! 2350 hours Sunday night and next door are sharing their music with us all. All we can hear is music, slamming doors in the corridor and loud voices. Thank goodness for earplugs! Great staff, clean rooms, good breakfast but I probably wouldn't choose this hotel again for the noise issues and lack of air conditioning/room temperature control.

This is one of my favourite places to stay when in Swindon. The rooms are always clean and it's such an easy check in and out process. The staff are very helpful. Great place to stay when on business.
