A really nice place to have a weekend away. Relaxing, comfy and charming. Facilities: Plenty of on-site pampering, lovely quality and friendly staff. Room: Very comfy room with internet enabled TV. Food (on-site restaurants) : All very nice, the Zen Garden especially. Cost: It's on the higher end of my usual budget and did feel a little expensive in parts. Overall: 4.5/5

We have just been away for 2 nights at the Careys Manor hotel for a mini moon and wished we could have stayed longer… All the staff were amazing, nothing was to much trouble and all done with a smile. Beautiful looking hotel inside and out. A real gem for any occasion.

Great spar facilities in a nice area of natural beauty. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room lacked air conditioning and the bed was a little hard and not the most comfortable which is why I'd rate it only a three. Still I should also mention it has good restraunts and the town itself also has nice places to eat. All in all we had a good weekend despite the bed not being the most comfortable.

My happy place amazing service friendly staff highly recommend, I save up all year to spend the night here it is truly a place of tranquility, definitely cannot recommend more!

Had a spa day here with breakfast and lunch included, senspa is definate the best spa i. Ve ever been to, you won. T know what to do first! there hydrotherapy pool is amazing you won. T be disappointed.

It is a very pleasant stay, and as an American visiting for the first time, there isn't a better place to stay. The New Forest, and Brokenhurst in which the hotel is placed is the perfect getaway and retreat.

I got taken here as a birthday surprise recently and considering I had never heard of it before then, I was thoroughly surprised indeed. This place is absolutely lovely! Tucked away in the new forest, I think its actually the nicest spa I have been to. Even better than the Bath spa dare I say it. It has a lovely Thai theme to it, lots of different, showers, saunas, pools, steam rooms and relaxation rooms. I can be a bit funny about massages, but I had a back, shoulders and head massage and it was the best massage I've had too! My masseuse was friendly, professionally and the pressure was on the firmer side, which was perfect! Actually I must say everyone here was very professional. The breakfast we had here was also lovely too. So overall I was extremely impressed with this place and would thoroughly recommend it. I had an absolutely lovely birthday — it was a great present.

Relaxing, thoroughly enjoyed stay. Staff and facilities were wonderful. Only regret is that we were not there longer. We will definitely be going back!

I had a wedding breakfast tasting here and found the food and service to be exquisite. The house wine is also very good.

Stayed over the festive period and had a great time. The hotel had planned for a busy check-in and had set up mulled wine with mince pies to help with the wait, which wasn't that long. The hotel staff were all very attentive, friendly, and were there to ensure the guests enjoyed the occasion. The hotel has three restaurants and the food was good in each of them. There was a good range of wines to choose from and a wine tasting session to help with that choice. In addition, the hotel ran a treasure hunt and a cookery demo.

Had 3 course meal which was lovely. The people who worked there were very good and helpful.

Very quaint place with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The hotel is really huge with SPA, pool and gym.

Amazing day at the senspa spent with my mum; excellent choice of food both for breakfast and lunch — the Thai menu was out of this world! The spa facilities where fabulous. A lovely day spent with my mum — so relaxed and refreshed — highly recommend a spa day here — worth every penny!

Perfect weekend — What an amazing place. We have just had a 'faultless' stay and can't wait to re-book. Our room was amazing, the Sen spa was great and the breakfast this morning was perfect. One member of staff really stands out for us — she made our stay as nice as it was and that's thanks to Abigail Meade, Guest Relations Manager. Thank you for making it so lovely. Both of us can't wait to return.

Lovely place. Very characterful & peaceful. Good service and lots of different types of food options available. Pool, sauna & hot tub available for guests. Would stay again.

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend in the New Forest and were both very impressed. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive without being over-bearing. The breakfasts were delicious; some of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had and we were both taken with the egg boiling machine they had! Saturday afternoon we joined the free wine tasting with the head sommelier, Michael. He was very knowledgeable and you could see he was passionate about wine. We were given a tour of some of the more interesting wines on the hotel wine list and some nice anecdotes about them and the vineyards behind them, along with a taste of each. Michael was more than happy to answer any questions we had. The spa facilities were excellent and a short walk from our room. Clean fluffy towels were provided and each room had slippers and robes to help you get to/from the spa. We ate at the on-site Thai restaurant and the quality of the food was very good. We didn't have to wait very long for each course. The number of items on the menu was limited compared to some but I feel they favoured quality over quantity as each dish was freshly prepared, hot and tasty. A nice touch was that fresh milk could be ordered from your room for your in-room coffee or tea.

We love the British country side and everything British. Coming from Norway, Careys is just the same as every four star hotel back home. Swimming pool, sauna and steam bath is not exactly a spa in Scandinavian terms. Careys have done everything right. There is nothing to complain about and nothing special to report.

Afternoon tea very good, with exquisite attention. The gardens are very small but well cared for.

We had a corporate arranged event with a third party and then dinner and drinks at the hotel with dinner in the garden. Very beautiful setting. Food was excellent. The corporate event was very good too, but I don't know if this was run by the hotel. But this was also excellent.

My stay in Careys Manor was wonderful. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the room I was in had its own balcony over the gardens which was nice. The staff were great and the prices resonable. We ate in the 3 rosette restaurant which had the most amazing sommelier, he absolutely made our night. Would stay again for sure.

Nice setting in the middle of the new forest, the complex is quite large as it seems to have been developed over the years, this means that whilst very nice you don't get the sense of being in the new forest, our room overlooked a small garden but beyond that was parking and the spa. Breakfast was well appointed and staff pleasant. The spa I is the main draw and if you are to go to the spa it is well worth paying the extra to get in the the other sauna, steam rooms and hydrotherapy pool. I would stay here again, though maybe not unless it was on a package deal as it is not overly cheap.

Absolutely adore this place. Best spa in the area with treatments I would travel miles to have. What really stands out tho are the staff who can't do enough for you. Always friendly, polite and want to look after you. Exceptional service and food especially in the Thai restaurant. Best Thai food I've had the pleasure of eating. If you need to get away and relax this is the place. Just 1 night stay makes me feel like I've had a weeks holiday. Hotel like a home from home without being pretentious like some. Clean good standard rooms especially the Oakwood rooms with huge comfy beds. Always a regular here and am never dissapointed.

Location was easy to find and short walk to Brockenhurst. Received a free upgrade on the room when we arrived which was lovely, and looked out over the gardens. Had lunch and breakfast in the zen garden which was very nice, and relaxing. The Spa itself was very well designed and the staff/ therapists were helpfull and professional. All members of staff could not do enough for you, and we very focussed on ensuing that your stay was as relaxed as possible. Highly recommend it and will probably stop again in the future.

Review: Senspa (hotel not included) Arriving by car (off-peak) there was loads of parking available so it made it easy to arrive in time for my booking and jump start the day. LOOK/FEEL — The first impressions of entering the Spa is a warm and inviting one. Many venues lack ambiance outside however at Senspa, their Asian decor is reflected outside as well as inside making an inviting experience from the get go. The main area (s) are situated over two spa floors excluding treatment areas. Ultimately very cosy with lower ceilings, medium to low lighting which meet higher ceiling areas that look more like a loft and allows a nice amount of light to peer through and catch a glimpse of the trees outside too. SUITED TO — Ideals for both couples and singles because they will get a great deal of enjoyment from the variety of experiences available. Suggested that couples attend during the week (off-peak) as opposed to the weekend to ensure its cosy and romantic. It's also suggested that if you're local to the area, it's an ideal place to opt for an annual membership that you can benefit from year after year. That being said this is a rare venue that can genuinely accommodate various individuals looking for quality and proper spa experience. EXPERIENCE — With the choice of several rooms within this cosy space, it's the perfect balance that allows you to cross train through a number of hydrotherapy experiences and not get bored.

Disgraceful, drinks were well overpriced, £3 for half a coke out of a bottle,, £6 for a guiness can surger which had bubbles,, £4.75 a small neineken talk about rip off Britain rip off careys manor.
