Comfortable beds, a window looking out on to the garden and countryside, so plenty of light in the room. The breakfast food was satisfactory, and there was a decent amount of off-street parking. The decor was nice, and comfortable feeling. The property, although a converted coach house, did not give off an "old musty" vibe, but instead felt more contemporary. Value for money, and away from the busy city. If you need somewhere handy to the city, this would not however be the best place, but there are certainly conveniences close by — places to eat etc. A generous sized bathroom, which could have benefited from a few more amenities, such as room to put your own toiletries and somewhere to put your shampoo and soap while in the shower (instead of the floor). The shower flow seemed to be intermittent — sometimes fine and sometimes changing to cold then warm again or trickling to a dribble before coming back on again. A hook or two near the shower to hang up your towel or clothes would have helped. Desk and chair in the bedroom meant I was able to use my laptop without having to sit in bed. Wifi was included and connected well. The breakfast room was a bit tight space-wise, and it was also very noisy when everybody was in there. It was difficult to get in and out to get food or a drink refill as the tables and chairs were close together.
