Review of Widbrook Grange 3*

What a place to have our Christmas wedding! Thank you so much for everything you did before, during and after our wedding day (19 December 2022) to make it as perfect as it was. We were looking for an interesting, high quality wedding venue that would be a home from home, and you delivered over and over in every aspect. The list of things that went well is long. And we cannot think of anything that didn't go to plan or that didn't work for us. But, the stand out things that really made a difference we feel are:1) The (completely justified) trust the team so openly expresses in each other to get it right. Seeing this from the start gave us so much reassurance ahead of and on the day. 2) How well our notes were interpreted in the recreation of our table designs. With the rest of the venue looking so beautiful already, we were delighted to be able to put our mark on the dinner tables and the attention to detail to get that right by the Widbrook team was wonderful. 3) The food! To come for our wedding taster session for two that was unbelievably delicious was one thing. To see 42 generous meals arrive promptly to the same standard and hear people say great things (including many telling us it was the best wedding food they had ever had! ) is another. The quality of the evening buffet was also top notch. Your kitchen clearly cares about what they are sending out and that makes such a difference for people on the day. 4) Speaking of caring, the commitment to both of us throughout has been so appreciated. Knowing we could ask Claire anything at any point in the planning and recieve a swift and clear response was just so helpful. And, although the day itself felt flawless and so relaxed, we could see just how much effort Amelie, Helen and the whole team were putting in to make it so. All the smiles and relaxed conversation with us and our guests, alongside a super organised and professional approach from our arrival on Sunday to our exit on Tuesday did not go unnoticed. I could go on. But instead I will just say that we can't wait to return for dinners, drinks and future events and relive the happiest day. Thank you again.
