I booked for two nights. They rang me the night before my arrival to cancel my booking. I had to find another hotel at short notice which was very expensive. Not impressed. I think the hotel management should have helped to find alternative accommodation.

Loved the beef au poivre. Service was great and food wasnt too expensive.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Nice room with good shower. But squashy bed, torn seat on desk stool. No non — dairy milk although requested.

Went with my family for my birthday as this used to be a family favourite. Used to, but not now. The door was locked on arrival Staff seemed confused We were not offered drinks until 15 minutes after arriving The bar had a terrible selection The food was of a poor quality and lacked flavour Meat was dry and tough Serving staff managed to brush their arms in to our food. My wife’s food had a plastic strip hidden in it. When pointing out to the serving staff they argued against it saying that all the food is fresh. Then they came back and offered a free dessert, however we were ordering from a set price menu. I assume new management, really not the place we used to enjoy.

Nice enough place, we had a room at the back of the property on the ground floor. Two rooms shared the same front door with locking door to your room. Very (unless you get noisy neighbours) with a limited car parking space outside your room. The owners are Indian very pleasant people with a good eatery in the main part. To find the place can be tricky as it’s right on a junction and easily missed as we found out on several drive pasts. Rooms a bit dated but all in all good quality.

It says it has a 4 star rating. Judging by the room I would say otherwise. No spare pillow. The decor was quite rough in the rooms. It had and ironing board, iron, hairdryer. It's says it has parking but the parking is extremely tight and only room for 5 cars. Room was over priced for what it was in my opinion.

The room we stayed in had a nice atmosphere and a comfortable bed. Had a great night's sleep. Would recommend.

Victorian hotel that has been sympathetically refurbished and extended. The facilities are quite stylish, comfortable and have a good specification for the price. The slight downside is a cramped car park and steep stairs due to the age of the building, but plenty of parking is available nearby, and free overnight, and there are more accessible rooms off the courtyard if you have mobility issues.

Very nice atmosphere and great food. Friendly and polite staff really make you feel welcome and make for a lovely meal out. I highly recommend it!

Ten of us stayed for the weekend of the British grandprix, it's simply £55 worth, clean & tidy & the staff are great ✌

Was going to book as the menu looked great, and I'd heard good reviews, only to be told I wouldn't be able to dine here as they're not wheelchair accessible. The Equality Act applies to all, not just those who don't want to spend the money to make their business open to everyone. Very disappointed.

Nice Hotel in Rugby. It appears to be more a B&B than business, British style rooms and furniture, rooms arranged in an hold building and in a new facility close to the main one. Anyway everything works, the staff is very kind and helpful, there is a fine restaurant and breakfast service. For any need you can contact the hotel staff, it will help to fix any eventual problem you have. Good stay for 1 week.

Lovely airy room. Clean and a great breakfast. Staff were efficient and friendly. I would stay here again!

We had a table booked we were taken to the table on time. The food was excellent as was the ambiance. We will be going there again.

Very good rooms but shower was very small. There is secure parking but this is limited to about 6 or 7 vehicles. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay.

Restaurant serves really good food. Room is fine. It does the job.

We held our wedding reception at this beautiful hotel 2013. The food and service was second to non.
We returned today with friends to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Food was beautiful. They had decorated our table and there was a card waiting on the table too.

A very nice clean hotel with a beautiful dining area.
The food was first class.
A small cosy bar where you can just kick back and relax and the staff were very lovely and friendly.

Exceptional rooms and great service at the restaurant for very affordable prices. A great choice if you are looking for accommodation close to the Rugby School.
