Clean friendly very good value, the food was well cooked. We had evening meal salmon was very good. Good breakfast lots of choice. For the price bracket it was very impressive.

Food and staff were very good. TVs in the rooms didn't work at all well to the extent that if they were removed they wouldn't have been missed and the attention to detail was lacking eg there would be napkins on the table but not one for everyone. Rather sad as its a nice location with a loverly garden to walk around.

Very clean rooms if but small. Not one channel on the bedroom tv's was at all stable enough to watch. Food was ok apart from getting starter then waiting over two hours for main course despite several attempts to expedite the waiting times! Food orders when finally arrived were not as ordered. Tripp hazards a plenty like vacuum cleaners left with hoses strewn across floors directly behind double doors in several areas, Outside no expense spared on grounds upkeep, grounds and views fantastic!

Was here for a corporate 3 day event and would not recommend it to anyone. The one positive is the gardens which are beautiful and if only the could spend some money on the rest it would greatly help. The rooms are very small with a hard bed. The room feels dirty and there is no water pressure. They made lots of people move rooms as apparently they were booked… well why put people in there in the first place and why could the new people not have an equally bad room elsewhere. There is not AC in the room so they get very warm. The food is below average to a paint if I was paying myself I would walk out. The meeting rooms are ok but a bit tired. The management staff is rude and not helpful. Avoid this hotel and if you want to come get your wedding photos taken outside and then go elsewhere.

Wonderful day at our son and now daughter in law s wedding. A really memorable day.

A great wedding venue for anyone looking to tie the knot in the area. Plenty of room inside with gorgeous decor as well as some beautiful grounds with pond and blooming trees. I documented a wedding there recently with ceremony in one of the rooms and meal in a marquee and all this made for a great backdrop to the photographs. The food provided was to a high standard and the staff was very helpful.

Visited for a work conference, access is up one of 3 roads and only signed from one. Facilities were good with a mix of room sizes a cross the old house and more modern extensions. Lots of tea coffee and snacks all day as well as a reasonably decent seated lunch.

Had a meeting at the hotel in the Drawing room. A colleague of mine had their purse stolen whilst at the hotel. The grounds are lovely though, it would make a lovely wedding venue.

Beautiful venue, attended for a wedding and it could not have been a better occasion. Service was brilliant from staff, food was great, lovely grounds and a great hotel in general from what we saw!

Not as good as previous New years Eve experience, but still a great night. Food didn't quite live up to previous visit. But in fairness to hotel, it was a much better standard than a similar function in the Lutterworth area attended a couple of weeks previous. Final coffee and tea service was terrible lacking in any organization. Entertainment was poor and lacking any originality. Drinks are expensive a double gin and tonic Costing more than £9•00

Receptionist was lovely. I came on a package deal so was a third party booking. I paid extra for an upgrade to an executive room. I had looked at their website and seen what the standard rooms looked like. There were also photos of some beautiful rooms unlabeled which I assumed were the executive ones. When I got to my room I thought there had been a mistake as my room wasn't even as nice as the standard one pictured. I phoned reception who confirmed I was in an executive room. My complaint is that rooms are miss represented and recommend you stick to standard ones which are adequate. No fridge or information paperwork in the room so took a while to work out how to phone reception. I left. It wasn't what I was expecting. Receptionist did offer to move me and was lovely but couldn't see the point as if what I was in was executive a new room would be similar.

50s themed Christmas do with work. It was brilliant! Well worth it.

Very good venue for professional conferences/training courses. The grounds and gardens offer some lovely paths to all around and refresh yourself. The resources, audio/video equipment, and the rooms were excellent and we'll laid out and they were able to cater for demands. Fresh biscuits and cake were brought out and there were plenty of coffee and tea options. The lunch was also very nice but would have been nice to see some more options and ideally some halal ones too. The amenities were also good but the bathrooms were sometimes a bit grimey.

Without a shadow of a doubt the worst hotel we have ever visited. False advertising, terrible room, faulty fire alarms, rude staff (Michael Quinn) should be sacked. Arrogant and despicable customer service. Tried to charge for breakfast we never had. Kept us awake all night with faulty fire alarms. Cheeky and disrespectful to my parents in their 60s. Insulting offer of compensation/refund. Refusal to apologise. Twisting language to try and justify fire alarms going off all night. ‘I won’t apologise for having fire alarms’ … err that’s not the complaint. That’s a straw man argument. Why did they go off over five times between 1am and 6am? THAT’S THE ISSUE! This place is basically a scam. Photos absolutely NOTHING like the reality. Completely ruined my parents trip. £95 for absolute rubbish. Read the other reviews. This place is a disgrace. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE unless you literally enjoy being disrespected and ripped off. Foul and hideous experience.

This was a beautiful location with amazing rooms for wedding ceremonies and gardens for photos and walks. The marquee was great for wedding receptions and parties. Just a bit out of the way if driving or trying to get a taxi back to another hotel.

I'm afraid this hotel is a misrepresentation to say the least. You do not stay in the main house! The rooms are in what can only be described as a badly maintained old people's home from the 70's, even stinks of lavender. Do not come and stay here thinking you will experience a Manor House stay… this is not what you will get. Better off at a Travel Lodge. What I will say though is that I found the staff exceptional! A lovely Greek lady on reception and another lady called Lizzie were friendly. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. But make no mistake, even though these 2 members of staff were great and the breakfast was ok… I will not be staying at Dunchurch again. False advertisement would be an understatement! Reason I have 2 stars is simply because of these 2 mentioned members of staff.

Nice place and nice gardens. Food was good too. The host that took the wedding we attended was v. Good.

Shocking place. My daughter had money stolen after staff put her bag in an unlocked room for her so she could be a bridesmaid at a wedding service. Found staff rude and unhelpful about the whole situation and didnt even apologise for there incompetence to look after guests property. Not even any drinks. In dispute with the hotel due to managements obnoxious unhelpful attitude. Also rooms are insecure in hotel with unlocked windows. A most unpleasant experience. Police were called. No stars but had to put one to post review. Advise if you go here look after your valuables. We are aware it could be staff or a guest so just to make it clear the issue is if staff look after valuables the room should be locked.

Nice grounds, old part of the house is nice. Wedding reception venue good, staff very good. The hotel rooms in need of some renovation.

Visited there for a wedding which was nicely done. A lot of waiting about while the rooms were turned over though. Glad we didn't booked a room, didn't look in the rooms but the outside of them looked like student accommodation. The bar was understaffed at times that meant a 20 minute wait — wouldn't be complaining usually if it was very busy but there was 1 person manning the bar and only a 5 person queue. Overall loved the wedding but not a fan or decisions made on staffing levels.

Where to start! After checking in at the requested time, I was told my room wasn't ready (understandable, happy to wait) got to the room. Dirty socks left in the wardrobe, the window handle was broke, no enamel in the bath, mirror coated with mold under the lamination and a shower which had 2 temperatures; hot and direct from Satan's quarters hot. Granted the staff were lovely and happy to take the comments on board and the management will be contacting me shortly regarding the price I paid.

Attending a friends wedding, Room was nice, clean and spacious (Room 24). Ria on reception was fabulous. Tom at the bar was great, both helped to make the evening nice.

Very nice setting, and friendly staff, beautiful main building, nice clean rooms, only thing it takes a while to get served in the restaurant.

I attended a presentation at the hotel and noticed that it was very clean and well presented, the room itself was very spacious and layer out very well. There was a recruitment drive on at the same time, it looked like a major event and after talking to someone who was staying they had nothing but praise for the staff and rooms. I would recommend it for meetings/presentations but other than hearsay I couldn't speak for the room.

Visited for a friend's wedding. Venue was attractive, staff were friendly. Food was overcooked, and dance floor was too small for Ceilidh because the tables weren't moved far enough back.

We attended a wedding in the marquee on Sat 19th March. The afternoon meal was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The surrounding landscape was beautiful. A wonderful day and experience.

Dunchurch Park Hotel has got to be the place if you're planning a really big wedding reception. The semi-permanent marquee holds over 400 people. Partypicz photo booth hire provided the photo booth for a wedding there last year and I have to say, access is fantastic and the grounds are spectacular.

Unbelievable! The own manager (George Briffa — see below) is staying at his own hotel and reviewing it, trying to push the average rating up. Something to hide maybe? Poor customer service, incompetent staff, arrogant manager! EDIT: Funnily enough 'The Manager' removed his 'review' after I published this! Screen shot available on their Google+ page.

Very poor customer service at reception. The first room was tiny barely place to even stand. Bed sheets had blood marks from the pean who probably made the bed probably had bleeding fingers or chapped hands The next room I was moved to had a filthy toilet with skid marks on toilet seat! When I tepees it to the receptionist he said it's not his problem and that I would have to waiting till the following day until house keeping cleaned the room! I did I can't possibly sit on the toilet seat said filthy so the receptionist went back into the reception and handed me a cleaning spray bottle and scourer and asked me to clean the toilet! The bathroom was filthy with dead wasps on the floor and toilet roll had soiled toilet marks on it! Totally unacceptable! The shower head was also blocked with hardly any water șpray and drain was blocked both in bath and sink! Extremely poor standard and poor customer service.

On arrival the scene that greets is fantastic and conference facilities are good. But massively disappointed by the quality of the room, cold showers, smelly corridors and TV that didn't work. I was further disappointed by the evening meal where the lamb was stringy and potato more like a bar of warmed soall. On this occasion I was here on business so didn't make a fuss, but had I been staying for personal reasons I don't think the inflated prices justify the quality of the services offered so would have gone else where.

Stayed for a weekend this month in a room with incredibly noisy heating that rattled and kncoked all night. When I complained at rceeption they first said, maybe it was next door! And then admitted there was ongoing maintenance to the heating system — no apology. I won't be going back.
