Great venue, lots of character l space and the food is always well put out
Too add, I had the best sleep I’ve had in weeks last night of any hotel I’ve stayed.

What lovely people. The hotel rooms are just perfect and the food is delicious, well worth a stay if you are near.

£125 a night and NO air con in the room, sweltering hot with just a plug in fan supplied. Could not sleep at all, like a sauna all night. Even a £40 a night Travelodge has aircon! Also we asked for a room in a quiet location and was given room 108 which was directly above the kitchen with a door below us which constantly banged closed up until 10pm and then again from 6.30am onwards, simply appalling, just needs a soft closure fitted! Tried to get drinks at the bar at 10.55pm only to be told bar was closing. With a 100+ room hotel this is very early to close a residents bar. Breakfast very average, just about passable with mint leaves in the fruit salad… what is that all about? Tasted hideous. The only plus about this place is the staff, all great but the overall guest experience was not good at all, especially for the price. Poor value.

Lovely place, and staff are really helpfully, especially James behind the bar last night. He is such a nice guy, friendly, helpful and very courteous.

An awful experience I couldn’t even buy a drink at the bar because of an “private event” and was left all evening without a drink because the manager was a rude and unhelpful lady who should hit the gym! Awful customer service!

It looked a very nice place I went to the hi-fi show that was there. You have a crossroads leading to a different rooms which can get confusing and you can get lost. Also you could not order food from the restaurant as it is only for people who were staying at the hotel. But we could order food from the bar which we did but the till was not sending orders to the kitchen so after after half an hour we ask told the till was not sending orders to the kitchen staff was very apologetic and where very well mannered.

Great Venue. Great facilities. Only stayed one night but fully satisfactory experience.

This hotel is in a lovely secluded location and the bar/lounge area is really nice and that's where the positives end really we checked in for 2 nights for a wedding 10 minutes after check-in I requested at reception that our room be cleaned as there was cobwebs, dust and the carpet was disgusting-fair enough the receptionist did offer to move us however we were in the same corridor as all of our family and friends so I declined and just requested that the room be cleaned. The following day when we returned the cobwebs were gone but the room was still dusty and the carpet not vacuumed, such a shame the hotel has so much potential but the cleanliness is really not in line with a 4* hotel, I told the receptionist upon check-out who didn't seem all that bothered (see photos for cleanliness standards)

Pros: Nice hotel generally, it has a conference centre feel (as you'd expect). The food is good, and the bar is nice. Downsides: The showers are too small for tall people, I'm 6'8" and it was quite uncomfortable. There is a lack of air-conditioning in the bedrooms, although the windows do open very wide and there is a fan in the room. Breakfast doesn't open till 7am, which was a tad inconvenient as I needed to leave at 7, but I found a bowl of cereal while they were setting up.

Very nice hotel. Good location. Staff friendly and efficient. Good food selection. Breakfast very good.

+Lovely food. Beautifully cooked. +We got a 3rd floor room facing a field which was amazing to wake up to! +nice clean room +New bathroom -Quite warm definitely needs air con though. -NO FRIDGE in room! -Bar closed a bit early… -needs plain sausage for breakfast otherwise really nice and hot.

What can I say but brilliant. All the staff were more than happy to go out of their way to make our stay celebrating my Mom's 80th birthday brilliant. Kenny in the bar was such a character and made our night perfect and going out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and making a fuss of the "birthday girl" even turning up at breakfast to give her the cork from the bottle of fizz the night before as a memento. Rooms were good but just one note — king size room means "room" not "bed". They had dealt with ordering flowers for our table and again these were perfect — thank you everyone at Woodland Grange for making our stay a special one that we will remember for a long time.

Stayed here for only one night — but is also ideal for longer stay — and not only for conference. Nice twin room — very clean and comfortable. Benefited from a fan — but A/C would have been great as rooms quite warm. Single beds are very narrow — but good quality mattress and bedding. It was a last minute booking, so I wasn’t aware of the spa and sauna — bring your bathers! Staff great, and good selection for buffet style breakfast. Would highly recommend — and the building and setting are quite beautiful.

Very welcoming friendly staff. The room was lovely and clean and comfy. And the food is lush. So 100% recommend.

Good parking, modern + clean room and with good facilities. Hotel is quiet with little noise between rooms or in the corridor. Excellent breakfast.

Beautiful location, really nice clean and stylish rooms. The light switch for the bathroom was in an awkward position, but it didn't spoil my experience. It's a great value stay. Oh and breakfast was superb!

Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Room a nice size and comfortable. Breakfast a bit sparse later in the morning, but was tasty.

Apart from initial issues with room set up, which was professionally dealt with, the stay so far has been lovely. View from room is refreshing, especially the bunnies. Nice weather helps.

There was a ladies Masonic weekend happening which we were unaware of, 170 guests. The catering side we totally out of their depth with everything geared to the group's stay. A few tables had been left for the other hotel guests, the evening meal was very tasty, however breakfast was something else. We grabbed the last table that wasn't set up for the group, other guests were told to sit in wherever there was space in amongst the group. Queues were right around the room, food was none existent at the hot buffet then when it did arrive there were no plates, people resorted to going to the bar to get tea/coffee because staff couldn't cope, no bread no cereals everything was just hovered up by people in the queue. I ordered poached eggs but when they arrived I had neither a plate or other breakfast food and the queue was still enormous. Lot's of people simply gave up and didn't bother with food. A solution would have been to give the large group two sittings in order to prevent the kitchen being overrun. After making our feelings known at checkout, the lady was in tears due to the amount of complaints she had received that morning, she cancelled our bill for the evening meal. There was no complaint against the staff on duty it was just the lack of foresight on the part of management, other none group guests were just totally irrelevant and not catered for. Having said all this the hotel was nice, food tasty when you could get some and the rooms comfortable.

Woodland Grange is a fantastic venue. We used it today to host a Wedding Photography workshop as CPD for professional photographers. Excellent facilities and great buffet. Master Photographers Association West Midlands Region.

Visited for first time for a sports conference. Excellent facilities, everything I needed was supplied with a smile. Good choice by the organisers.

Such a good lovely place. I close to the Nuffield hospital in the morning Warwick and the services and amenities of the are great. The rooms are all set up ensure that they 300, rooms. The a small gum and jacuzzi will bath with is available. The food is a wonderful place to and I only went for a conference.

Lovely staff, good venue. The food was very nice as well. The place looked very corporate so to speak, but otherwise nice and very clean.

Everything was great apart from the main course and the evening meal. Although it was a large banquet type affair the main courses were very basic and bland. Otherwise lovely venue with good facilities.

Good conference orientated hotel near Leamington Spa. Two restaurants and a small gym and steam room area. Rooms good with pretty decent bathrooms. Staff very good. Limited room service. Good parking and easy to find. Conference facilities excellent. Food is of a good standard and as one would expect for this type of hotel. All in all very comfortable stay in October 2017

I stayed there as part of a large group this weekend. My room was large and comfortable with nice views over the grounds.
The 2 dinners that we had in a private dining room was a shambles. Although we had ordered our choices in advance the meal took over 2 hours, on both evenings, to complete! There were very long waits to be served the first of three courses followed by very long waits between the next two courses. Sadly, when the food was eventually served it was tepid and tasteless.
On the second evening the slow roasted shoulder of lamb came as a tepid cake of minced meat, instead of juicy slices that we had expected, served with a tepid gravy (which arrived long after we had attempted to eat). The beans & carrots were hard & tepid. That night I went to bed hungry. At breakfast each morning we had to wait too long for tea & coffee to be served. At the buffet lunch on our last day there was only 1 guy carving the meat so the queue stretched around the room! I suggested to staff that plates should be repositioned so guests could help themselves to salad whilst waiting for the meat. I also suggested to staff to reposition the large gravy jug so that guests could help themselves to gravy instead the carver puting down his knife and fork each time, in order to serve gravy on each plate.
Sadly, bad memories of the hotel. I can’t recommend this hotel.

Staying at the Woodland Grange for a bridge weekend. There appears to be staff issues in so much there are not enough of them. The hotel itself is okay there are areas in the commen parts that have not been cleaned for well a while! However the service is abysmal. We had to wait 40min to receive our lunch order and last night 40 min per course for pre ordered meal and as result delaying the start of the bridge game. No apology from the staff and certainly no compensation for this disgusting service. Food was tasty but cold. Who ever is running this place needs to get a handle on it. Day 2 begins, Hopefully a miracle will happen.

Staying for 2 nights whilst attending training at local business. Room is fine — clean, tidy and we'll decorated. Bathroom is great. Main areas are fine, but could do with some redecoration in places. Breakfast was only ok — pre-cooked and left out so not piping hothe, which lost them a star. Would stay here again.

I stayed here about 3 years ago. Then, it was superb, the restaurant menu was in my view sophisticated and the standard of food was truly delicious. This time, the room was small, cramped, as it had a sloping ceiling, I couldn't get to my bedside cupboard, it was a twin room, there were two of us, female friends. We were only supplied enough towels, cups, water for one and had to ring reception. The menu is very limited, lacks imagination and what we received was mediocre. I had a noodle dish with chicken and prawns, which were an additional extra. The chicken was so hard that it lept off my plate onto the floor when I tried to get my fork into it. My friends meal should have had asparagus, hence why she chose it. Apparently they had ran out. The offerings at breakfast were the same, mushrooms sitting in oil, as were the scrambled eggs. The bacon was extremely salty. There was obviously a conference on, but if that's the market they want to attract and not just anyone coming to Lemington for the weekend, then look at your marketing. Very disappointing all around. Never again. I will also add a review on TripAdvisor.

What a fantastic venue! Located on the outskirts of the beautiful Royal Leamington Spa, Woodland Grange is a very high quality venue and hotel. The bedroom was fitted to a very high standard, the bed was ridiculously comfy, and I loved the rainforest shower! Wi-Fi was free and super speedy. Food and drink was excellent, and with free tea and coffee on tap I was sorted. Meeting and presentation rooms were perfect for the CPD event I was attending. I eagerly await my next stay at Woodland Grange!

We have a small collaboration of university and industry delegates (approximately 10) which meet at woodland grange once a month for review meetings. The look/ ambious of the place are impressive and smart. There a numerous conference rooms of various sizes available for hire, equipped with the latest audio visual equipment. Food is bookable either as buffet style in your conference room or in the main restaurant, both of which are of high quality. The location is a bit awkward to reach in rush hour, but this is probably a bi-product of its central location. I would recommend it.

What a fantastic place… Really geared to customer care. One of the best places l have stayed in.

I liked this venue a lot, good meeting rooms and facilities. Nice little bar and staff seemed nice. Food was good quality but the portion sizes were terrible (tiny, picture is the duck starter with a teaspoon of duck). Rooms and bathrooms were basic but comfortable, bathroom didn't have much in the way of products to use. No conditioner and on one shampoo/soap.

Great hotel, room was lovely overlooking fields. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast. A little disappointed with a fairly limited menu for dinner, but the food we ordered was of a good quality. Would certainly recommend.

Lovely bedrooms. En suite beautiful shower but dangerous getting in and out of bath. Pity there's no hand grip for us elderly clients!

Great hotel. Room's spacious and clean, although a little tlc needed. Bed massive. Breakfast was plentiful free tea and coffee all day.

Nice hotel/inn, evidently originally a very old country house, which gives it a nice atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, huge windows look at the huge garden where bunnies are hopping around in the evening. Free Internet available, also gaming room with pool and wii, and good food in the restaurant.

Rooms are Travelodge-ish but OK, hotel in general OK but bar shut at 10. Can't comment on restaurant as even though empty couldnt eat as not booked in advance, had to have sandwich at bar.

I do work for another branch of the company and only visit on company related business. It has a very nice atmosphere, free coffee, biscuits and fruit for attendee's and guests. The food in the canteen is usually very nice with normally 3 choices for the main course including one vegetarian meal.

Lovely hotel and location. Check in was lovely and room great apart from the bath/shower which was blocked (did report). Breakfast is advertised as being available from 06.30 at which time I and others were waiting to go into the restaurant. We were told then that it opens at 06.45 which it did. Went in but there was only cereal and child meat, no hot food until 07.00 which was frustrating as I had to leave without hit breakfast. The gym is good but small and to add to disappoint, the spa pool was also closed for maintenance. Given the price, I didn't feel it was good value for money, although the hotel in general was nice.

I use this hotel regularly for work, it's a nice hotel with good sized, comfortable rooms. Its set in a nice location with convienient access to Leamington Spa. The food is okay, could do with a little more variety. The staff are always very helpful and friendly!

Attended a meeting a Woodland Grange; the room was well equipped and the catering was excellent. Would book again.

I've been to Woodland Grange many times on business, the team, food accommodation and service are second to none. I would definitely recommend them for any kind of corporate event or conference, plus they have a huge new car park, which makes it very easy.

Lovely venue, professional and friendly staff. Happy to recommend and would return.
