Needs a good clean, dusty and squeaky bed frames. Good location. Staff was friendly. Just needs a good clean.

Tired, old and not too clean. Cracked tiles on the floor dirty silicon around shower and bathroom. Stained ceilings in bedroom. Curtains held up by a wing and a prayer, nets dirty. Very uncomfortable bed. I could go on. Steps leading to carpark look likely to crumble anytime soon. Not impressed at £65 per night and no breakfast xtra £11 for that.

I had an awful time at The Falstaff Hotel and certainly won’t be staying again or recommending it to my friends … or my enemies! Upon arrival I enquired about the parking as this hotel was advertised with parking. I was told by the receptionist that I would have to check myself and that if the car park was full then that was ‘tough’ and ‘not her job to help me’. I then went to my room and was dismayed to see how horribly pokey and dirty it was. The view from the window looked at a dirty white wall, the shower was blocked and the bottom would fill up with water and overspill, the room was smelly and had rizla and tobacco left there by another guest. Don’t waste your time staying here — I paid £50 for one night for a horrible pokey room with a broken shower, leaking taps, no parking and a creaky cheap bed. No breakfast and bad service.

Stayed for BH weekend and had a lovely stay here. The staff were so friendly, and couldn't do enough for us, even accommodating our peddle bikes! Rooms are clean and perfectly adequate for the money we paid. Nice areas to lounge about can be found at various places in the entrance area and the dining room is a nice space to eat. The menu looked fine and was not over priced, though we didn't eat here. It's a 10 minute walk into the main shopping area, where there are lots of cafes, places to eat and gorgeous parks. There is a big car park at the back of the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again.

Basic 3 star hotel. The ceiling in my room leaked onto the carpet. Bathroom was a bit dirty and the shower couldn’t muster more than a dribble. Good times.

Not the best for the money. The car park was full and therefore I had to park on the road outside. My room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. Very nice breakfast though.

Good budget 3 star hotel, nice basic rooms, helpful friendly staff, decent food. Ample parking. Bar with pool table. Happy to revisit. About ten minute walk to town.

Value for money, I booked it thinking it would be terrible but it wasn't, lovley foyer, good bar with separate pool table. Very close to town and Warwick Castle. The only reason I gave it a 4 was there was no air conditioning and it was a warm room. However they did provide fans.

Not great, the staff were really good but I will never go back.

Arrived at 14:30 got given a room but upon entering the room had not been cleaned so went back to reception and got given a room over far side of hotel room no. 67 but upon entering that room the shower was mouldy and the wardrobe door was hanging off. So once again got given another room which was better room no. 66 but there was not drink facilities in that room. Later in the evening we went into the bar and ordered a drink of orange but the girl had to go and ask a senior member off staff which glass to use. Overall a terrible night and not one I want repeated. Happy anniversary to me NOT. I hope the people occupying the room next to us had a good night as it certainly sounded like it…

Great hotel close to the town which has lots to do and see will definitely be coming back.

Staff were friendly and the bar food was good for an evening meal. The menu comprised of standard-pub-food type of fare, but the quality was good so no complaints there. Unfortunately the buffet breakfast was limited to a build-your-own full english, toast or cereal and was a bit on the greasy side. Rooms (and a lot of the corridors I had to walk down to get to my room) were dated and quite cold, bathroom was OK but the shower didn't have much pressure. Walls were quite thin, I heard everything the man in the room next door did when he woke up. All in all, good staff but a dated building makes for a fairly bland stay.

Very impressed with the friendly service I received from all of the staff at the Falstaff. The food is very good, freshly cooked and with good service. The rooms varied with some having been refurbished and very comfortable, minor issue with 1 but I was quickly moved to a better room. Considering how busy they were with the National bowls tournament I was delighted with my extended stay. Now a Talash Ltd hotel.

Located around a 15 minute walk away from the train station yet still close to the town center. Nice room, quite basic and very comfortable — plenty of space. Good service, very helpful and friendly.

Let's say the hotel is rundown but clean, the bed comfortable but taking a hot shower is a privilege.
There's a TV, a kettle and a few biscuits.
The breakfast sweet is minimal and not too good, poor even that salty anyway.
It is close to the center and for that it is great.

The Falstaff Hotel used to be Best Western, but is now part of the Talash Hotel Group. A lack of previous investment means that there are some issues, such as a leaking roof in the reception area, but it does seem to be improving. The staff are friendly and most are hardworking, but it does seem to be understaffed. The rooms were clean and comfortable and not noisy. It has its own parking, but is within easy walking distance of the town and railway station. The breakfasts were good, although they need a new toaster.

Reasonably okay as a hotel, but poor staff who didn't really seem to know what was going on. Waited over half an hour for the breakfast buffet to be restocked then reception had no record of us having checked in. The bar was closed at 2.30 on Saturday afternoon and they were cleaning the beer lines when we returned after dinner at 9.30. Overall a very poor performance and I would not return.

Basic, relatively cheap hotel that covers the basics. We arrived at around half three, and the room still hadn't been cleaned. The room itself was small, and we were right beside some extractor vents which made lots of noise during the night. Even after cleaning, it wasn't great. Stay here if you want a cheap place to stay, but don't expect much.

The hotel is in need of some general repair. The bedroom was adequate and I'm grateful we paid a discounted price as it wouldn't have been worth any more. The staff were average. We arrived past check in time and had to wait for someone to tend to the reception, only to find that the room was still being serviced. A pretty average stay but it was only one night so we can't complain too loudly.

It was absolutely disgusting! Staff rude and a damp patch on ceiling above the bathroom which was actually dripping onto my bathroom floor… I d not recommend to anyone!

Run down hotel in need of refurbishment. Cold bar area. Buffet breakfast. Ok just for a stay over.

After reading the reviews of the hotel, I was a bit skeptical about staying here, but my cousin was getting married there in the hotel so it made sense to stay there, I must say I am so glad I followed my instinct, of course outside the the hotel, they need to fix it as it doesn't look very nice, but once inside you could see its quite an old hotel but was very clean, and the staff were amazing, especially Fran and Eva, you were absolutely amazing, thank you to both of you for being lovely and accommodating to my young daughter, during breakfast time, and thank you for being ever smiling throughout the wedding, and considering kids were running about you were still amazing about it, and to Nuno for being nice after being asked extra blankets and a heater, going up and down so late to make sure we were warm enough, I hope you keep doing this for everyone that comes there as that is what makes the experience amazing. you made our weekend as a whole family great, so thank you and this is coming from all 10 of us that stays in the hotel.

On a wocher break for 2 nights for 2 with 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. Descent for the money but you get put in the side of the hotel with no hot water while they must save the better rooms for those paying a higher price. Pleasant staff. Good location if you drive. Shop around.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for a romantic break, the staff were friendly, especially in the restaurant and also on reception. We decided to go for a walk at midnight came back in and fancied a drink, so the receptionist openned the bar just for us and made us sandwiches. The bar and restaurant were reminiscent of the class of the 20's. The room was clean, bright, with a big bed, very comfortable. Admittedly the TV was dated and had poor channel reception and the facia of the hotel would benefit from a tidy up and lick of paint as it does not refelect the quality of the hotel inside. Loved it so much were going back for new year. Also really close to the town centre.

Our room was falling apart. We were in the lower basement area. The toliet was coming off of the wall, held to the floor by only 2 wood screws, the pipework was dryer duct and the bath was in bad shape as well. The shelf on the wall in the room was held up by the dresser and the window wouldn't close. Very shabby conditions. Other people we were with had decent rooms but ours was terrible. The staff was hardly available and the food was ok. Do NOT recommend staying here.
