Checked in and went to our executive room that cost £188 for 1 night. It’s New Year’s Eve so I’m not moaning about the cost, I’m moaning about the cost for a room that hasn’t been cleaned properly (toiletries were open and had been used) & electric sockets didn’t work. We booked this so we could use the spa but that was a con too. We finally checked in at 3.20 as there a delay on reception and there was 1 person working. We got changed and went to the spa, where we were told we had 30 mins as it was closing early! Originally we had been told it was open until 6pm. We had our 30 mins went back to the room, had maintenance ppl in and out for 30 Mins and then they moved us rooms. So we paid for a relaxing break in a spa but got a night in a hotel. I don’t recommend this place at all. Clearly they don’t check rooms after cleaning and to change the closing time of the spa on the day is a joke.

Stayed last night for the sprint awards evening meal and sleep over. Friendly staff, lovely decor and clean hotel, lovely food been here a few times now would go back.

Stayed for two nights — so informed as they were busy, they wouldn’t service our room in between Asked to book in to the restaurant for dinner — informed as we hadn’t reserved the dinner package when we booked, we could only eat in the golf bar serving dull pub grub rather than the restaurant Went out to eat and returned with a nice bottle to enjoy since we couldn’t get into the restaurant. Asked to borrow a bottle opener — flatly told no Tv in room the most dodgy TV ever, couldn’t switch it off! Basically, very poor service and wouldn’t go back or recommend … only reason we stayed there was because the Belfry was full. Hotel next to gun club so expect to hear gun fire ALL DAY.

Lovely Hotel in a lovely setting. Nice room and facilities, helpful staff and nice dining with good food.

Booking systems are pointless and don’t communicate with each other.
Spa staff tried to argue with member of our party and changed the treatments.
Lunch took over 2 hours for a pre-ordered menu.
Dirty glasses (not good in COVID pandemic)

Would just like to say a big thankyou to the Lea Marston Hotel for making our wedding a dream come true on Saturday. All the staff were impeccable the rooms were spotless the food was amazing and everyone went above and beyond for us we really had an amazing day and I just wanted to say a big thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. Sam Coles and Rosie Sutton are amazing they made our dream come true.

Would I recommend NO went back for our 15 year anniversary and totally spoilt it. Food awful pipes leaking into the restaurant manager arrogant I could go on. Not the same place we got Married at all. Faulty Towers!

Great menu in the bar and the gym facilities and the staff are always very friendly it's a great break even if it's just for a couple of hours.

Fantastic stay at this hotel for my 60th birthday. Afternoon tea was lovely and the evening meal was good The Staff in the spa where I had a massage were friendly and helpful. Making the whole birthday package wonderful Highly recommend this gift to others.

Lovely food… nice to have won the voucher at Christmas. Nice surroundings.

Had an awful experience yesterday afternoon.
my nieces baby shower went totally to pot.
pre-ordered all meals.
no starters came out they went straight mains. They were all cold was sent back 4 times and still couldn't get the food hot. The chef then shouted at the waitress telling her its was her fault for bad service. He shouted at her to tell us "go F#$@K ourselves which was heard by a member of our party waiting by the kitchen door to spk to him. I might add the sevice was fine and the waitress lovely and helpful it was all down to the bad attitude off the guy in the kitchen calling himself a chef!
my nieces baby shower totally ruined resulted in her being upset and embarrassed in front of her family and friends. We cant get that day back now it's gone and thsts the memory we have of what should've been a lovely afternoon for her baby shower.

Absolutely amazing service from all the staff, the cleaning staff were lovely and polite and the room was spotless, the bar and reception staff were really friendly and helpful and the spa was a lovely experience, beautiful and warm rooms really had a relaxing stay and great spa experience, even the young man in the gym was eager to help and offered a tour at 8 months pregnant I didn't use the gym but the friendliness of the staff really made our stay, will definitely be back for the craft fair in November.

Stunning rooms and nothing is too much trouble.

Very comfortable and quiet rooms despite proximity to airport and a shooting range. Food good. Drinks a little pricey. Relaxing spa area but could do with a few more loungers.

Didn’t even stay there in the end and I am glad we didn’t. When we arrived we were told they could not find out booking so we had to wait 10 minutes for the manager or another member of staff to come. When greeted by them, instantly I did not like this place, the staff are rude, moody and unhelpful I don’t think I saw one of them smile. We were then told that our booking had been cancelled by booking. Com even though I had it up on my phone saying confirmed (and also the next day asking me how was my stay and to leave a review). They were adamant that the booking had been cancelled and there’s nothing they could do because they were fully booked. We had no apology from them. They were not interested at all in helping or trying to solve the problem or even go out of their way to do something for us, they are the rudest people I have ever met and I am so happy that we did not stay there in the end. I then received an email a couple of days later saying the following “I have spoken to our reservations team and they have authorised the refund of £126.65 to go back into your account. Please allow 3-5 working days for this“ again no apology or anything, no explanation as to what happened or even anything to compensate what has happened. From this email you will see that they are not interested and just seem like they can’t be bothered… that is the exact same attitude that we received in person.

Lovely staff and very helpful. We took advantage of the pool which offers a kids only session. Driving range staff and facilities were great. Breakfast was lovely too. Would come back!

After our original booking was unable to accommodate us. This lovely hotel was very helpful and got us a room within 15 mins. Hotel is lovely rooms clean, surroundings beautiful and a very tasty breakfast.

We had to laugh… A 'Posh' family eat in the Hathaway's bar, ordered 5 Steaks on sizzles, then disappeared… the food came out to their table and was sizzling away all nice and fresh at there table, but they had disappeared! the staff went off searching for them and could not find them, so they took the food back to the kitchen… hey, 5minutes later the family turned up and complained about the table not being clean, and where was the food!? the staff then served the …food only to have it rejected by the 'posh' family (at this point we're in hysterics! ) … they had a go at the staff, they moved table because the table wasn't clean (it was but the sizzles spat over the table whilst they weren't there) and they got a discount for there bad experience… Rachel, you were totally professional, you handled a difficult customer with ease… Well done to the staff… we had a lovely evening, what a hoot! even though the chicken wings weren't crispy.

Had our wedding and reception here 6/4/19 and we were absolutely over the moon with everything. Beth was fabulous nothing was too much trouble not a thing went wrong she deserves a pay rise and the food was amazing. Would 100% recommend this hotel for any events. Sam helped organise it all and was very attentive.

Very family friendly, suitable for all different types of events, and quiet Romantic place as well, staff are very friendly any problems they will deal with right away and not leave u hanging.

We come every year for our wedding anniversary, after getting married here 5 years ago. The hotel has gone downhill a lot in the past year. Room was absolutely beautiful! However the service throughout the hotel was poor and under staffed. We waited nearly an hour for plates to be cleared and a menu, we ended up looking at the desserts menu online and ordering off there at the bar — just before our puddings came the barman came over and said the menu online wasn’t upto date and so he had picked us each something similar off the current menu instead. The food was awful, no where near as good as usual and there was hardly any food at breakfast. Every year the staff have mentioned our anniversary and have a card in the room, but this year not. The family member who booked it for us paid a decent amount for chocolates in the room which used to be lea marstons own in a lovely box but this year was a box from any supermarket. We usually never comment on bad experiences but had to say something as it’s a real shame as the hotel used to have such a lovely personal touch and excellent food, but the service and overall experience this time was really poor. Other than the lovely room it was really disappointing. We will be finding a new anniversary hotel for future. Sorry! Very sad to see a special place change so much.

Have stayed over on other occasions I would highly recommend great spa and gym, a great place to chill out.

Sunday lunch set meal. It appeared good value. However, one staff member got scolded with hot coffee and had to go. Hope she is OK. This did not excuse the poor service. Soup was cold and went back. Beef was a saving grace. One sweet was not worth having. Hate doing poor reviews especially as it's so close to home. Might try again in case it's a one off.

Out if this world experience. Best weekend in a very long time, treatments were absolutely spot on, staff extremely present and very helpful, the rooms fabulous, hygiene 5 stars. Beautiful and calm hotel. Definitely going back ❤❤

I wouldn't have long enough to express how amazing this place was for me and my husband. We got our package from Secret Escapes and it included our room, evening meal and breakfast for a really great price. The room was beautiful and the compliments which came with the room were lovely. E. G. A glass of wine each on arrival, water/tea/coffee in the room and robes for us to use in the spa. The spa was also great but could do with a refurbish as it's clearly been loved and well used!
The swimming pool was lovely and the grounds around the hotel were beautiful.
Food also super yummy and the breakfast in the morning was incredible! I would definitely go back. Thank you x.

Booked to stay just one night after attending a wedding nearby. Pleasant and courteous reception. Hotel slightly tired. Meal in Hathaways bar good. Use of leisure facilities available on the Sunday but unfortunately due to refurbishment we could not use Monday morning. We were not informed about this prior to our visit which was disappointing as we had purposely booked this hotel because of the leisure facilities. Breakfast was also good. All in all quite an enjoyable stay.

A great wedding venue for anyone looking to tie the knot in the area. Plenty of room inside with gorgeous decor as well as some beautiful grounds with pond and blooming trees. I documented a wedding there recently with ceremony in one of the rooms and meal in a marquee and all this made for a great backdrop to the photographs. The food provided was to a high standard and the staff was very helpful.

The hotel is fine for a place to lay your head. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and there can be no complaints regarding the facilities. There was a wedding reception and dance going on when we arrived and that was fine. The following morning breakfast was busy with people dining and no doubt looking to get away after the celebration. I have one gripe and that is a young man walked into the dining room barefooted and wearing a dressing gown. When confronted by a member of the staff he was rude and carried on regardless. I would recommend that a respectful notice be produced regarding dress code suggesting a minimum level of decency and decorum to be observed out of consideration for other guests. I know one shouldn't have to do it and it's a pity that such things have to be done but I'm afraid it seems to be the society we live in makes it necessary. A notice would make it easier for staff to refuse such people entry. This is less of a complaint and more an observation.

Wonderful place, had our wedding reception there four years ago. They couldn't have done more to make our day perfect. We sat having a cold drink in the sunshine today and will be back again soon to play golf.

Visited hotel for a work related conference, reception and meeting facilities were to a good standard and Staff were helpful and attentive. Food and refreshments were plentiful and again to a high standard. Cannot comment on accommodation for an overnight stay bit based on what I did see, I suspect would be of similar standard.

I liked it. An older hotel but not in a bad way. We had an updated room with a nice walk in shower, nice tile floors. The beds were extremely hard but I'm super sensitive to beds as I have lots of back and neck issues. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner were all delicious. Everything I had I liked, especially the fried brie! The staff is excellent, knowledgeable and super friendly. I'd definitely stay again.

Nice enough hotel, decent gym and has a pool. Restaurant food is also decent and fairly priced and they offer room service. All in all a relatively decent hotel which I would recommend staying at for whatever purpose. Car parking is aldi provided and free.

Great hotel, nice staff. Have stayed before. Meals nice but service a little lacking this time and no of times drinks had to be returned as flat, coke and beer was a little ridiculous. The last night we were sat in conservatory for food, very little lighting so waitress had to light some candles just so we could see menus and what we were eating. A little poor this time.

Difficult to recommended. Receptionists were great. Rooms need refurbishment. Staff need training. All very young and stand around or ineffective, or even seem to be argumentative if questioned. I had my wedding reception here in 1991, I thought it would have been as good this time! Room had same bathroom suite.

Lovely place with pool, gym, sauna and steam room. Good for families. Very slow bar service when we went and a lack of willingness to acknowledge you, felt invisible as they ran in and out of the bar without serving anyone. All other staff were very friendly and happy with warm smiles. Lovely room, just right size for family. Clean with good facilities.

Visited the Hathaway’s restaurant for a family birthday and very disappointed. There were 10 of us which we’d tried to book in advance for but they said we didn’t need to book. Got there and we were put on two separate tables. Meals all came out at different times and starters came at the same time as mains which was not asked for and so the starters went back as there was no point in having them. Also very pricey for the quality of food. We hadn’t visited Lea Marston in a long time so thought it would be nice to return but we won’t be hurrying back again! Staff were friendly — only positive.

Just had a meal here so can't comment on other options. Meal was well cooked — in fact beef was wonderful — veg was lovely and plenty of it, had to ask for more gravy but no issues there n very quick. Team were efficient and friendly. Have been several times and will come again.

Stayed with my daughter this week and absolutely loved it. Afternoon tea was lovely and the evening meal was exceptional. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful and made my daughter's stay so special. We used the spa and pool and couldn't fault anything. The only thing we found let things down slightly was the breakfast. The cooked breakfast was self serve so some of the food was overdone by the time we sat down to eat.

We had our wedding breakfast and reception at lea Marston on Friday 22nd December and all we can say is wow! From the minute we arrived the day before to the second we left the day after everything was amazing. The staff could not do enough for us… from gemma greeting us in the carpark to help with our stuff to the amazing reception team… restaurant staff. Housekeepers and of course jack who looked after us on our big day. Everything was spot on and nothing was too much trouble. We had quite a lot of guests staying and all of them commented on how fab everyone one. The food was spot on … The rooms were perfect. Cleanliness couldn't have been any better and they made our day everything we wanted and more. Thank u everyone at lea Marston. U r a great team and work amazingly together! We wish we could do it all again xxx Kayleigh and stuart Capaldi xxx.

Did have a mistake with the card so had to walk back to the desk to resolve the issue otherwise would be a four star rating. The on-site pool/sauna were all a reasonable standard. The room was of a reasonable size too.

Works christmas lunch today. Meal was OK but not a green vegetable in sight and only three 2cm carrots. Fruit platter was a slice of orange, one blueberry, four raspberries a slice of star fruit and a slice of fig. Hardly a platter didn't even fill a tea plate. Could have been a lot better.

We had our wedding here in the summer Could not fault the hotel, the food and the service. My daughter treated us for a Night there and dinner for my wife's birthday 6 months later. Once again a faultless experience, excellent piping hot Good food and fantastic service by the two Rebecca's, (hotel can be proud of them, what an accet to have such good staff) really feel at home here, was made to feel really welcome by all the staff. Will most definitely return. Thank you.

Almost fantastic, firstly very clean hotel, rooms very comfy. Good breakfast. Perfect for short/long stay Only negative: the pool/jacuzzi/sauna/steam room etc close at 9pm… why?. This was frustrating. After a long day working away at exhibition event then colleagues wanting to do dinner. By time get to the hotel the pool gym etc all closed. Should remain open minimum 10.30-11pm Would give 5stars if this was revised and looked into lots of guests miss out on use of the wonderful facilities.

Went for a cheeky birthday treat and was not disappointed! Room very clean and contemporary, staff very pleasant and happy to help where possible. The spa is lovely and again the staff were very friendly, when had an evening appointment for the mud treatment. Very relaxing and recommend. We did not use the restaurant as went to star City that is only 20 minutes away. Has a cinema and lots of eateries so well worth it, no alcohol is available at Star City, I think to suit Muslim culture. Did not affect our evening though.

Very clean immaculate room, excellent food and then of course there's the Golf Course right there… Only reason it wasn't a 5 was because the room was too hot, but if you like that… And then there's the excellent swimming pool and facilities…

Had a BBQ organized by my company here. The staff were really helpful to take care about dietary requirements and at hand. Clean rooms and ample parking space.

Attended a wedding Fayre and we were looked after fantastically by the staff there. The hotel was well presented and the staff were lovely. I was impressed with the amount of ground floor rooms there was, as I am a disabled person. Lovely location and the added golf facilities was a nice bonus too. Very much a recommendation from me for a medium priced hotel.

Great hotel and friendly staff. Been here so many times over the last ten years. Only ever had one issue which was promptly rectified. Good food, great swimming pool. Lovely grounds. Highly recommended.

Lovely comfy room, quiet, nice setting, friendly staff, games lent out for families to play in room… Only niggles were lack of plug sockets esp nr bed, no individual heating controls, no fridges in rooms, and ridiculous restrictions for residents children using the pool when no such restrictions for members children. Would have happily given 5* if these issues were resolved.

Really clean and modern hotel, food was excellent and service could do with some work. The restaurant staff should be better trained at their knowledge of the menu. Of the 3 questions we asked them, none of the staff were confident in their answers. The food at dinner was great, the menu didn't do the food justice, I really didn't expect the quality food we received. Breakfast was disappointing, the food was below par and I think this area could be vastly improved. The rooms were immaculate, very modern and extremely quiet. I could not fault the room at all. I think with the right service, this hotel could flourish but at the moment it has someway to go before it can become 5th star worthy. Would definitely stay again but would be conscientious and know to expect a service that wasn't quite up to scratch.

Very nice place with friendly bar staff. It was a nice sunny day and there was a nice garden area to have a few beers in in the sun. The only gripe I have is the beer prices are slightly high and there could be better choice in lager (nobody really enjoys carlsberg! ). Would recommend a visit =)

Attended a 40th birthday party and stayed overnight. The staff were very helpful and our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty.

Lovely room, comfortable bed and very tidy. Shower area was clean and very modern. Room was quiet and had tea coffee, easy to work tv. Breakfast had plenty of choice although didnt like coffee the rest was nice. Lunch was really good and the bar staff were really freindly. Gym area looked decent but didnt try it out as had a wee bit of a hangover. Maybe next time.

Good quality of accommodation with direct access to the motorway network. Ample parking and fast free Wi-Fi. Good to see that some rooms are being refreshed since this was needed.

Great event and location. A real surprise package. Its been a few years since I last visited and the difference is spell binding.

Visited for new year's. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, with a good sense of humour. Food was delicious and the rooms are spacious and modern. Also, 5 min drive to the station and 15 mins via train to Birmingham town centre.

Excellent transport links made this the perfect place to stay for an overnight mid journey. We stayed the night before Christmas Eve and there seemed very few other guests. The staff were wonderful and friendly. We ate at the bar in the evening and had breakfast in the restaurant but didn't use any of the other facilities. The food was generously portioned and cooked well. The room was a good size and it's facilities were average for the price we paid. One window was a little draughty but the curtains did their job so this didn't become uncomfortable. We had a lovely view across the greens.

We were there for a festive party night it was a great atmosphere food on the night could have been better but everything else made up for it. The room was lovely, clean and plenty of room. Breakfast was fantastic would stay there again.

The Room is quite ok, but breakfast is very very lousy. And mind the restaurant in the bar: Meals are terrible.

I'm glad I could not get into the Belfrey. Stayed here instead. Only 5 minutes from the Belfrey. Big rooms, friendly staff and most of all free Wi-Fi (Belfrey is something like £25 a day! ). The bar had a good range of beers (although the bar menu was a bit limited but well priced). I'll stay here again next time.
