Beautiful hotel and the owner is a really nice guy.

As a wedding photographer I see allot of venues. I loved brook marston! The staff were so friendly and there’s a lovely rustic homely feel to the place. Would love to photograph more weddings here.

Stayed for a few days & had my German shepherd with me the welcome all the staff gave us both was second to none, so accommodating & helpful a lovely peaceful & friendly hotel great walks along the canal — fab restaurant & food-Thank you…

When the bar staff randomly increase the price on drinks and you have staff members walk out because even they don't want to work in the place.
Out dated rooms especially for the prices charged
Suggest you get the hotel inspector to pop in and sort it out
£5.50 for a CAN of Guiness.

Staff are rude and the drinks prices are ridiculous. Drinks are cheaper in London.

We cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we booked our wedding in February 2018 we couldn’t wait to finally say I do in October this year. The venue was perfect! The staff were great and our day was how we dreamed it to be! They catered to our every need and were more than happy to accommodate last minute changes without hesitation. They offered so much more than just the venue and meal at an amazing price. They go above and beyond in making sure the decor is perfect, the food is amazing and the day runs smoothly.

Had a treat today went to the brook Marsden farm hotel for afternoon tea with my husband and daughter in law Tracey as it's our joint birthdays. It is the best cream tea we have ever had all the food was freshly made and just delicious and the staff were very attentive thankyou so much we had s lovely time.

We had our wedding here on 9 August 2019 and from our very first meeting we found all the staff friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! We had their resident DJ who was fab and the food was great too. We had the best wedding day and all our guests enjoyed themselves. Thank you to everyone at Brook Marston Farm. We had our wedding here on Friday and it was everything we hoped for and more, staff were brilliant, food was delicious and the marquee was amazing! Cannot recommend highly enough x.

My Daughter had her Wedding Reception here on 6th October 2018. We had an amazing day. Leigh and his team were absolutely brilliant, they couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent and everyone said so. We literally took over the hotel for 3 days, all the rooms were spotless, the courtesy of the management and team extended to us and our guests was amazing. We could not have been more welcome. Thank you for helping to make all our day fantastic.

We got married here on Saturday, and it has been an amazing experience from booking the wedding to actually having it. The staff were so good and kept checking on me to make sure that I had eaten, had a drink and was happy which was so lovely. If we were to do it all again we would. We stayed in a family room, Very clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful, Food was also very nice. Would definitely recommend.

Best hotel experience. Staff were great food best I have ever had. Was there for my son's wedding. Room was clean and nice bed so comfy. Grounds a beautiful setting for photos. Grounds was great for the children t the wedding to play.

Had a very pleasant tea for two experience with my big sister. Atmosphere and staff were very friendly. They do wedding packages too for anyone looking for a venue.

I needed a place to sleep as I had a meeting nearby early a. M. And didn't want to risk traffic. Booked it because it was cheap and close to where I needed to be. Based on the reviews I think there must be a "wing" that's reasonably modern and the place I slept in, which was like an abandoned 70's house. Staff were lovely and breakfast was good. So if you're staying here, ask which room you're going to be in. I was staying in a cluster of rooms that were number 30 and up. If you're ok with slumming it, then ask for a discount.

Lovely location, comfortable clean rooms. Evening meal and breakfast was very nice. The staff were friendly and attentive, a relaxed atmosphere. Work is being carried out to update the hotel but this didn't affect our stay. Thank you.

My new husband and I got married here on Saturday 23rd June we can't thank Lee and the team enough they were more than helpful with everything and the wedding went perfect with out a hitch down to the finest detail the food was beautiful they even catered for my god daughter who has autism and only eats particular food that was no bother it was mentioned to Lee and he got catering staff to cook her something separate honestly If I did my wedding again it would be done exactly the same look forward to seeing you soon thanks again amazing is the only word for this venue.

Good value for money. Very helpful and friendly staff and lovely surroundings. Decor can be a little dated but everything is perfectly serviceable. Good size rooms (Had a double) with good size bathroom. Close to the Belfry and a great deal cheaper. Overall definately to be reccomended.

Would definitely stay here again! Stayed for a weekend with my mam and 2 dogs, we all enjoyed our experience. Room, food and staff all fabulous. Had room service on the Friday food lovely, Saturday and Sunday's breakfast delicious — hash browns perfect! Didn't eat at hotel on Saturday night as we were at a bar-b-que with friends! The staff were all lovely, Adriana on reception in the evenings was friendly and welcoming when we arrived, she also gained several gold stars for the fuss she made of our two Border Terriers, Aiga our breakfast waitress was lovely, very polite and helpful, so nice to be greeted by such a happy smiling face at 8am and the lady on Sunday morning as we left — sorry didn't get her name but know she had 9 dogs — again high marks for the fuss she gave to the dogs! A big thank you to those behind the scenes, in the kitchen and room service food fab and room clean! Great hotel and an excellent team! Thank you for making our stay as great as it was, Vic and Sue. Mr Meldrew and Rowdy Yates both give this hotel Four Paws!

Wedding was here. Superb venue. Food wasn't as good as I would have expected for the type of establishment. Wethetspoons is of the same quality.

Nice old hotel. Rooms are big and clean but toilet and bath needs new units and full refurbishment. Nice people nice food including breakfast.

Dated is an understatement, smoke free premises signs everywhere however in the courtyard anything goes… shower was a hose connected to a mixer tap but no tap outlet. Advertised around as a 4 star hotel but they MUST be the ones in the sky at night. Lovely pond out the front of the hotel in pictures, however it was in fact green and stagnant. Corridors piled up with laundry bags on arrival but not cleared away till housekeeping rounds in morn. Google is generous as I must give it 1 star just to leave a comment.

Now what to say about Brook Marston, well it is dated, personally we thought it was charming, in this day and age of retro we thought it was fantastic, perhaps could do with a little more tlc here and there but hey ho, we could only think previous comments about miserable staff were made by disgruntled aliens from a swamp on the outskirts of Mars! We found them very pleasant smiley happy people who couldn't be more helpful. So good night's sleep, lovely breakfast, super venue for weddings and funerals!

Location is beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful and couldnt do enough to make sure we was comfortable. Breakfast and evening dinner was devine. Will sure to return very soon. Such a nice place to relax and recharge.

Had a lovely New Years Eve Celebration. Three course meal which was really nice. A good DJ who kept us entertained all evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Only fault was our bed was so uncomfortable, could feel the springs so couldn't get much sleep. But over all a good evening and we would go again. Rachel & Steve.

Good customer service. The lady at the reception was very good. She answered all my questions to make sure everything would be organised at the venue.

Booked to go here for xmas party. Food was cold, taste less. The pudding was grainy and just tasted artificial. The biggest issue was that we had payed for a full drinks package and there was no wine on the table not to even have with our meals they told us it had run out. It was atrocious never ever again would I visit not even if it was for free.

It was a beyond average hotel. There was a Christmas party on and they just forgot they had other guests there. They were massively understaffed and the food was terrible. It is pretty cheap but wouldn’t recommend eating / drinking there. They had one manager there who did everything — bar / reception / waiter — poor guy They had no vodka, Pinot griot or red bull — basically any drinks I would have. Bit of a shocker.

Brook Marston Farm was a great please to eat. It was relatively straightforward to get too and parking was ample. The place was visually pleasant even at night time which was when we visited. Indoors was clean and homely. The staff were very receptive and attentive. The food was really good and they were very good sized portions. Well worth a return visit!

Cute little hotel. Food was fair — although included by the company I was working for. Unsure how happy I'd have been spending £13-15 on the main dishes if it wasn't, however. Room was large double bed, with decorations and furnishings that were cosy if a little dated. Tea/coffee facilities in the rooms as you'd expect, and room service was available. I'd happily stay again: staff were friendly and the rooms were warm. Bar had the usual stock and prices, so didn't feel out of pocket either.

We booked afternoon tea here after receiving a gift voucher at Christmas. The food was standard afternoon tea consisting of 3 choices of sandwiches, 3 different cakes and scones with jam cream or butter. There was only us and one other table whilst we were there, this combined with no background music ment there was not much atmosphere. There was plenty of food and waiter was polite. Other afternoon teas I have been on have always had unlimited tea/coffee but this wasn't made clear and we didn't ask. One of the sandwiches was a little stale but the cakes were very nice. Overall a pleasant afternoon out.

Great evening entertainment although disappointed with the meal room 12 poor lighting outside door trouble getting key in dads. Staff very nice. Bar poorly stocked no bitter no san Miguel no ice. Not enough evening staff.

Very clean and tidy, the room we had was a good size, it is an old building and therefore a bit dark, food quality is also good, staff very friendly.

This hotel was in beautiful surroundings. It was ideal for us as we were able to take our Labrador dog with us, there was plenty of walking space to exercise her. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The room was a bit dated but fine for one night.

Visited for a family event. The venue was nice, service was good, drinks were nice and food was so-so.

Brilliant the whole day and night we was there for a wedding was great the staff were efficient and friendly the venue is beautifully presented the location is great it made the while day special excellent.

We attended a wedding for a good friend. The venue was really nice with an old English feel to it. All the staff were friendly and hospitable. The rooms were a bit dated but this didn't spoil anything for us. The bed was very comfortable so Needless to say we slept like a rock. The shower wasn't very powerful and the shower head didn't really distribute the water too greatly. Wifi throughout and a large car park was a nice feature. Breakfast was nice with a full English and help yourself all you can eat fruit and fruit juice. Hotel was a nice distance away from local towns, easy to get to but also you didn't have to worry about being disturbed by any noisy neighbours leaving a local pub. Only a couple of minutes driving and you are on to the M42 which gives access to the M5, M6 and M40.

Pleasant night away thank you Amod and staff nothing was too much trouble for you! We will come back I. The summer to sample the court yard and sip wine.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, rooms nice.

Staff are very polite… you get a very warm cosey feel when you are sat down stairs in front of a log fire with your pint… very old school type of setting but it's perfect for a quiet escape.

Nothing! Didn't get chance to see it as they cancelled my reservation on the morning of my visit! I made my booking on the 19th they attempted to ring me on Friday and then on the morning I was heading to the hotel for my boyfriends surprise weekend away! They tried to blame it on the company I booked it with who have since sent me via email and post the clear evidence that it is the hotels duty to inform the customer ASAP of a problem. I have but had so much as a reply back yet from the hotel. The whole birthday weekend was ruined. They tried to source me alternative accommodation but it was too far away or way too expensive and they weren't even willing to subserdise the costs! A disgraceful customer service. Will be taking my complaint further!

Just stayed the night after seeing Show at NIA Birmingham. Standards are high and service was excellent.
