Really rude woman who answered telephone. Refused to offer any help with changing a groupon voucher reservation and accused me of shouting at her telling me to "do one "
cannot believe how rude she was. Won't be visiting here again.

Lovely afternoon tea to celebrate my 50th birthday. Highly recommend Salford Hall.

Afternoon tea here today was absolutely amazing, tea pots and coffee pots refilled as many times, the afternoon tea itself was delightfully delicious.

Fabulous hotel, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, with a rich history, friendly, helpful staff and very good breakfast to end our stay. We will return definitely. X.

Everything was perfect… The staff were extremely helpful and informative. The room (no. 9) was lovely and we loved all the quirky features. Breakfast was well presented and the waitress was friendly and professional. We will definitely return, we had a great experience here, celebrating our Anniversary.

Went for a 6 course taster menu and wasn't disappointed! Fabulous top class food, friendly staff and superb surroundings. Highly recommend you try this place it's a definite must go back again. We'll done and thank you to all.

We had a brilliant few days at this hotel. Beautiful building with fascinating history. Very friendly, warm and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely garden, very well cared for. All the staff were helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the stay.

A old building, set in attractive grounds, which had both good and bad points, Bedrooms in a traditional style, which did mean soundproofing not very good, bathroom extremely clean but hot water varied from boiling to cool. Beds clean but not that comfortable. Reception staff did not appear very obliging. Breakfast excellent with pleasant staff. Had cartons of milk in bedroom on arrival which were 3 months out of date. (unfortunately did not realize this until we had made some terrible tea) left a bad taste in more ways than one.

What a wonderfully historic place. Spotlessly clean. Great shower and good lighting in our en-suite. Lovely quiet room albeit a bit cramped. Excellent bed linen, but not-so-good pillows. Very approachable and knowledgeable staff.

Visually stunning and imposing from the outside. Reception is attractive. But the rooms in the courtyard are strange, like a hybrid British/US strip motel. The room decor was okay, but very dated. Needs total renovation. The shower had barely any water pressure. Less than I'd expect from a £95/night hotel.

Had a really lovely time. The staff were brilliant and we were made to feel at home. The only slight negative I can think of is that the bath could've done with a better clean. Would definitely go back again.

Absolutely lovely old building and full of history with friendly welcoming staff. Excellent value for money (Groupon deal) including sparkling cream tea, and tickets to Warwick castle. All our rooms were clean and full of character. Breakfast was plentyful and served all at the same time for our party, although could have been slightly warmer. We have had a lovely time here and would definitely book again. Thank you.

Our second visit. It's a very attractive old building inside and out and is very comfortable. Leather sofas in the bar with good food in the bar or restaurant. An open fire in the reception area. Breakfast is fresh, tasty and plentiful. The staff smile and are very helpful. The rooms are clean, and the two we have stayed in, spacious. The only reason for four stars is that the shower in room 16 was not good but we reported it and hopefully it will be dealt with.

We have stayed at Salford hall on a few occasions now and it has always been a pleasant experience. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food very good and rooms full of character, clean and tidy. A peaceful place for a night or weekend away.

Stopped here as part of a Groupon offer. Was a little upset that the room wasn't in the main building but over the way. Room was ok but was expecting something a bit more plush given the look of the main building. Food was nice although a bit expensive, 12.50 for a salad & 17.50 for a burger. Ended up having 2 sides in the room instead.

Really lovely wedding venue. The hall is grade 1 listed and as such had lots of lovely period features. The flip side to this is that disabled access can be problematic, however, the staff do their very best to accommodate the needs of guests. It's very easy to find just off the A46. And there is ample parking.

We had a lovely six course taster menu here. The food was delicious, the service friendly and a reasonably priced wine list. Would visit again.

Fantastic long weekend at this beautiful hotel. Great staff good food lovely atmospheric place and bar prices good value. Room was lovely but bed too soft for me. Great location. Will definitely go back.

Exceptional Hotel in every way. The food and menu is absolutely amazing, coupled with great courteous service.
We were in room 12 on the top floor and our suite was first class with a really comfortable super king-sized four poster bed.
Bathroom was just pure luxury with some lovely toiletries, pure bliss on all fronts.
Staff were polite and nothing was too much for them.
Excellent hotel and will be coming back.

Such a lovely hotel. Really let down by the loud wedding on the ground floor. Couldn't sleep. Otherwise such a beautiful building steeped in history and surrounded by wonderful grounds.

Hotel was nice. The room I got in the Tudor extension was more than adequate, Beds comfy, good ensuite and good sized tv… Although my friend was not as happy stayed in the main building and said he had no sleep what so ever all week. I think he's scared of "ghosts". I myself am a non believer but he was adamant there was something in his room. I'd visit again. Not sure he would haha.

Late check in. Noisy room. Uncomfortable bed. No hot water. Could hear snoring and coughing and other peoples conversation. Bed was so hard and decor was grotty. Not worth the risk. Premier in down the road is cheaper and cleaner.

Beautiful. Quaint. Lives up to its historical claims. Staff are wonderful. Meals outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Fine old world mansion with decor in line mostly with age etc. Room four poster bed great. Food on expensive side for what it was. Breakfast waitress served and freshly cooked. Pleasant surroundings be lovely in warmer weather!

Lovely character. Clean and tidy. Good parking. Good service Free Wi-Fi not so good in my room — but we didn't go there for that.

Attended a wedding fayre, excellent setting and a beautiful building. Can't comment on rooms but service was good.

Such a lovely, comfortable hotel in very pleasant, relaxed surroundings. Rooms are very comfortable and the food is excellent. Plenty of dedicated parking. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly. Within easy driving distance of many of Worcestershire's attractive towns and venues.

Beautiful building you are given the history of the building which goes back centuries. Rooms quirky all named after kings n queens. Furnished tastefully.

The rooms are of a good size, with tea and coffee make facilities too. However only really enough milk for 2 drinks. These are topped up each day. In the tudor suites you can hear every move from people above too. Overall a good experience and would recommend the hotel as a base.

Service is great, service courteous. Rooms badly need a renovation.

We have eaten here for many special occasions, and the level of service and quality of food is always top notch, befitting such an elegant establishment.

Rooms good and warm, little bits need tweeking but good in general. Most staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast lovely.

The restaurant at this hotel is fantastic! Fine dining at very decent rates. The next time I'm in the area, even if I'm not staying at the hotel, their restaurant will be in my top list of places to eat.

Stunning views, great food and ideal location for a quiet get away. Must see venue for overnight stay, breakfast, lunch, dinner or all of the above.
