Thank you to Ted and his team for making our Wedding Day even more perfect! The room looked amazing, food was fantastic and you guys all worked incredibly hard to meet all our requirements.

Thanks for the great chicken, ribs and chips last night — they were delicious!

I have eaten cod and chips, the fish was beautiful and moist. The battery not thick but crisp and tasty. Staff were all friendly attentive and helpful. The whole experience was enjoyable. Been coming here as a customer for over 55 years… excellent.

My partner and I just had a lovely lunch here today. Friendly staff very welcoming. Food was delicious my steak was perfectly cooked and the best chips ever.

I went to this place for my 18th birthday many years ago and thought it might be nice to see what it was like now. Went for a meal with a friend. We hadn’t booked but they accommodated us on a Friday night. They were very friendly, helpful and efficient staff and we had a lovely meal. Obviously it has changed but still as good if not better than I remember. Thanks for making it special.

Fab place, very comfy, lots of space for bigger groups worth kids. Lovely with kids. Delicious roast buffet with loads of choices. First visit and will definitely come back again. Lots of love shown towards our baby and other children :) thank you!

The White Hart’s location is beautiful and the inn itself is also very attractive. We spent 3 nights here and used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The food was exceptionally good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I deducted one star as one of the televisions wasn’t working which was a pain, as it meant us and the 3 kids had to watch TV all sat in the one bed in the one room. But overall, we would highly recommend The White Hart.

Shockingly poor service on a Monday evening — two hours to serve a party of nine (including four young and hungry children). Acknowledging that the food was fairly acceptable, it was not worth the 2 hour wait. Coupled with this, the "Manager" was arrogant and unapologetic about what had been an appalling experience for us all, congratulating himself as "kind enough" to give us a discount. He should have more training in what is, after all, a service industry. I wish there was a "no star" rating — that's what this review warrants!

From check in to check out, not a fault. Everything was perfect! The rooms are huge and comfortable, and so is the bathroom. The staff are very nice and friendly. The food is amazing, dinner and breakfast (very good portion sizes) we'll definitely come back! :)

We had the dinner, bed &breakfast package. Dinner was a three course meal which was good. Room was of a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good car parking area. Would stay again.

Great place to stay. Rooms are very nice and staff are fantastic. The meals are awesome with a great variety to choose from I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for a great stay.

Good hotel for the money. Great Brakspear beer. Menu a little limited for vegetarians.

Went for dinner with friends. We were very disappointed with our food. The waiting and bar staff were lovely and the pub is beautiful. Restaurant was all but empty. Great shame.

Very nice place, lovely food and great staff. Only a few things I would change which is more milk for tea and coffee and better toilet roll. There only small things but other than that, it a great place and would come again.

Our second visit and yet again it was outstanding. The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful. Well worth a stay.

Lovely place to stay. On quite a busy road and my room was off a staircase near the restaurant but no noise. Great food and helpful staff.

A very pleasant stay! Had a deal with room, evening meal and breakfast couldn’t fault anything! Room (olive) was lovely 3 course evening meal was really nice! I love home made soup and it was tomato (with a twist) it was one of nicest soups I have had a lovely and hot! Followed by the lamb and a sharing desert! The breakfast was just as nice! Would recommend only criticism was expensive drinks!

Such a lovely hotel / pub with staff that will go over and above to make your stay the best it can be. Beautiful room (we stayed in caramel) with the most gorgeous roll top bath. The food was delicious. Looking forward to returning :) x.

We had a lovely stay with a beautiful room and enjoyed a three course meal which was delicious and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. The management and staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to please us. Highly recommend. Thank you.
