Standard holiday in. Bed was comfortable, firm. Which is what I like. The shower wasn’t as powerful as I would expect in a hotel. Beside the quality of the bed, the shower is the most important thing… it was a little disappointing. For dinner I didn’t eat here, as the menu was a little limited. So I when to a local Resturant. Breakfast — came with the room price, was a little limited, but adequate.

We stayed here as part of a package deal after a trip to Legoland. We expected a big standard adequate room for the price we paid, but were pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean the room was. The very friendly and helpful staff at reception were only too happy to accommodate our needs and were great with the kids. For a budget hotel we were very impressed.

I come here to have a coffee and lunch with a friend of mine very often. Some of the staff are lovely. Nice food, nice atmosphere. Remember to register your car at reception because there are cameras in their car park and you will be fined if you don't register your vehicle.

Think the 'EXECUTIVE ROOM' is slightly overstated… Nice, don't get me wrong, but other hotels in the area offer more, newer & better food too. Tired decor in areas away from reception, & food really is ok, not top notch. Posh Chicken Kebab @ lunch… had to chuckle when served… get a proper "Hanging Chicken Kebab" from Dashwood Arms instead… staff are great though… & location is perfect.

Really comfortable beds and quiet for a good night's sleep, room came with breakfast buffet, and the room was also reasonably priced.

Shocked by £100 parking fine. I had an informal business meeting over coffee Never needed to leave registration number before now both of us facing stiff fines. Used to use hotel quite often but now would recommend avoiding until system is clearer and fairer. When I rang hotel for advice they were not helpful hence this warning to avoid.

Really good, friendly and efficient service. Rooms comfortable and good is good — if anything portions are too large!

Great location just off the motorway. Lunch was great and a good selection available for everyone. Didn't stay there over night.

Not the best run IHG hotel by any means. Poorly stocked bar and on our visit a very noisy bar area with uncontrolled children and dogs and oblivious management. General public areas not very clean. Nice room and bed but poor air conditioning. Useful Frankie & Bennies next door and nearby TGI Fridays and Asda with McD. Close to motorway for easy access. A below average stopping off place.

Nice well refurbished hotel. Set in a leisure park. When we stayed the heating wasn't working very well in the rooms. The breakfast was excellent.

I would of honestly given this hotel 5 stars of it wasn't for the temperature of the room. It is freezing! A little bit too uncomfortable to easily get to sleep. However the room is beautiful and very clean. The meeting rooms are very lovely and much better in temperature. I am also very impressed woth the food here. I wouldn't of expected a holoday inn to have such good quality food. 5 stars if the room temperature gets sorted out next time.

Room refurb is nice good location for work. Only thing missing is a gym. Great place to stop.

Convenient location to the m40. Clean and cosy room with free Wi-Fi. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good for the price. I would recommend a visit to nearby Aston Rowant nature reserve for a scenic walk.

Quite adequate for business trips. The hotel is going through refurbishment so the rooms are quite new and nice. The only issue I had was a bit of noise on my first day as was trying to get some sleep after a long journey during office hours. The breakfasts are decent and I wanted to mention Mrs. Svetlana that always made breakfasts a nicer experience asking if everything is good or if I want anything from the menu. Spending two weeks there it was definietly a plus and great customer service from her side.

Easy to get to. Nice, modern feel. Didn't stay there, but function rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff pleasant and accommodating. More pizza required for a convention crowd!

Due to bad weather we had to cancel our work Christmas social at the holiday Inn, however the staff kindly honoured our booking by hosting the event 8th Jan. The lovely staff and setting put us back in the Christmas spirit. Would highly recommend for any event, easy to get to, friendly staff, good food and great facilities.

Christmas party. The song was good and they offered very discounted rooms for the no guy which I took them up on. The dinner was for about 70 people, the food was very average but no better or worse than another similar hotel we have been to before. Disco wD included and also average. But all in all, an OK night for the price.

Really love the bar food n choices, prices gr8 and staff professional yet genuinely friendly. Gr8 to visit for both the bar and restaurant; even if only going for a tea or coffee.

Work Christmas lunch was good. They do hold a good service although the roast potatoes and veg need a bit extra work. Salmon was lovely.

The staff are welcoming and attentive to the guest's needs. The room I stayed in was simple but pleasantly furnished and comfortable. All of the amenities worked well. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Went for a meeting over coffee. Nice and quiet, good atmosphere. Tables were big enough to have coffee and equipment on them.

Apart from reachable plug sockets for laptops the venue was suitable for out meeting and the access to the coffee machines were a great touch. Lunch was a different story though as the food was not good as a few were left with aching hands as they tried to cut their way through tough pieces of meat. Service was also poor serving up main dishes with starters without asking and not offering condiments to accommodate the meal. Mixed results overall. Have your meeting but go down the road for your food.

A little dated decor wise feels more like an old people's home but very clean. Breakfast was really good and they serve Starbucks coffee.

Clean comfy rooms. Helpful staff. Good option if you need to stay in the area for a couple of nights.

The Holiday Inn was a smart, modern hotel. The rooms were lovely as well and very clean. The only disappointment was that when we arrived they tried to charge us full price for the room, even though we booked it a long time in advance at a discounted rate.

Professional and friendly staff. Enjoyed the smiles in the early hours of the day and inviting red leather sofas opposite the bar. Decent espresso. Great parking facilities.

Location is really good just off the M40 so easy to get too and it's only two minutes from my office. Cinema and restaurants are close as well as Asda if you need anything. Rooms are clean and kept well and the free Wi-Fi is fast enough to stream. Lobby and bar area is nice to sit in to do work and restaurant is nice although service can sometimes be slow. All in all great for an over night stay.

Been honest I was a little gutted that I stopped at this hotel. I've never had any problems before with any other Holiday Inn's however with my stay here I was a little annoyed with a few things. Firstly the Air con in room 23 didn't work. Not normally a problem as I leave the window open however the window been open was difficult as the M40 was right beside it. When I let reception know I was kindly given a Fan by house keeping which was covered in dust. Upon turning this on the room filled with dust from the fan.

Nice and clean. Quick check in. Room didn't have enough items (bath robes, drinks, tea etc) for 3 people that were booked in. Called reception and a maid quickly appeared with more than necessary. Nice breakfast with plenty choice.

We were treated very professionally and the service was very good. Food was great and will choose again for Holiday Inn because of this experience. Thank you very much.

Had a meeting room for work. Great service from everyone that dealt with us. Room was perfect size to accomadate the size of meeting that we had. And also had a 3 course meal for lunch.

We rolled up on this Holiday Inn, for an unplanned day off booking. The staff was friendly and helped us get settled quickly. Rooms are clean and not too cramped.

This is a good spot for a business meeting. Just off the motorway, plenty parking, nice big bar area with several small areas for a bit of privacy. Overall well designed for the purpose. Also it was a roasting hot day and the air con was perfect but there is a nice courtyard garden if you want some fresh air.

Asked for two toast with jam and a coffee, but got four toast (okay so I can understand the confusion in ordering toast which actually means two pieces not one), marmalade and tea! Interesting. Wouldn't have actually minded at all except the girl serving me clearly took exception to having to sort out my refund and actually get me a coffee. I went and got the Jam myself and finished my toast well before the coffee arrived. And then I'm the one apologizing for the hassle it's caused her! I must be an idiot. She did at least come round a bit later to me and some others to see if we wanted anything else so it wasn't all bad and the level of service is usually excellent anyway!

Good motorway access, good for work trip. Good rooms and breakfast. Kind service.

A pretty average business hotel. Nothing to get excited about but nothing to get upset about either.

Otherwise, it's a nice place to stay, good location, etc. BUT we were told that they had accessible rooms. You need to be aware that their accessible rooms do NOT have accessible showers/baths. The bedroom had just enough space to get around, and the bathroom had an accessible toilet and sink, BUT all the so-called "accessible rooms" have a regular narrow bathtub with shower attachments over the tub. There is NO WAY that this can be considered an accessible shower/bath. The bathroom itself is very large so there's plenty of room to put in a walk-in/roll-in shower, but they apparently decided not do that.
