I booked this hotel for a personal stay through booking. Com. Honest mistake, I booked the wrong night and realised only after when I got a no show email. I called the hotel direct and explained the situation to them, and asked as a gesture of goodwill can I move the booking to the date I had intended to book. The lady told me that they were fully booked that night when they infact were showing rooms available on booking. Com at half the rate I had paid. I appreciate that it was my mistake that I booked the wrong night, but no ones perfect and mistakes happen. To be lied to and bespoken to rudely, is not what I would expect from someone in the hospitality industry.

Hotel is perfect except the clerk. She is very unkind and even rude.

One of the nicest hotels I've been to, and I have to admit that the room really amazed me, the room was quite large, well furnished, comfortable and very clean. The insiders were very nice and friendly, they always responded with a strong and friendly tone.
However, if I were to return to Manchester I would definitely choose to return to this fantastic hotel. I put 4 stars because this hotel has 4

I love this hotel. The rooms are nice with a beautiful kitchenette. And a nice shower as well. Definitely a great hotel.

Lovely little place close to summertown and all its restaurants and bars. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a decent size and clean and the kitchenette is a lovely addition! Breakfast is actually bought to your room in the morning which was nice and there's a little table in the room to eat at. Overall a really nice place and would highly recommend to anyone!

Five stars for what it is — a very nice b&b providing good value for money. Spacious, clean and modern rooms including ensuite. Parking available. Overall if needing a place to stay in summertown oxford then you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Lovely room with everything you could need at a reasonable price. Very clean bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast ordered the night before and brought to the room. Bus stop just outside to go into the city centre. Short walk to Summertown for food and drinks. Both the pub and the Italian restaurant were friendly and the food was fab.

My wife and I did not enjoy our stay here. We would not stay here again. We paid over£100 for one night but in spite of it being labelled a b&b, breakfast is an extra £5 each, payable on arrival. There is no dining room, breakfast is served to your room. This was done by a young woman wearing a hoody with the hood up covering most of her face! Quite unsettling, but maybe you have to see it to understand. The room was large but very dated. I feel that this hotel caters mainly for people on courses or traveling business people. It felt very impersonal, like a motel. For the money I feel we could have done much better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff and the owners are wonderful and very friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the English breakfast was great! I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Oxford.

Spent a night here when visiting the University in early April, 2012. We were amazed at the excellent service and quality (and size! ) of our room, especially for the low price. Our room was, quite frankly, huge, compared to the other guest houses we stayed in on our trip to England that week (we went over there for a week from the US to look at colleges). It was well-equipped with a kitchenette, a refrigerator with complimentary snacks, fast, strong internet in our third-floor room and friendly staff who were happy to recommend a very good Indian restaurant nearby. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants an affordable, but quality guesthouse.
