Went on Saturday with my son who is a local thatcher the food was very good and the service excellent 👌

My favourite pub of all. Highly recommended for drinks, a quick lunch, an evening with steaks and wine :)

Lovely old pub with stone flagged floors and beamed ceiling, and a log fire.
Excellent beer and great food, especially the Korean Chicken thighs.

We had our date night here. It was incredible and we enjoyed every second. We ordered the sharing platter to start, the babaganoush was immense. Honestly I have never tried a better one. We both went for steaks as main course. We asked for rare. They were both cooked beautifully and the fries on the side were exceptional. The only thing I would criticise is that the chef put some salad on top, which was hiding the treasure beneath. The service was attentive and respectful. I think the staff were very friendly, complimentary and attentive. Needless to say, one of our best date nights ever.

Such a lovely pub which had wonderful owners and staff! Always greeted with a friendly smile and conversation. Food is delicious and always happy to accommodate requests!

Great service great place to relax with family and friends good deliche. Lovely outside seating area too out of public view. Car park excellent.

Stopped for a warming tea, I asked if they sold anything sweet and the bar man gave me a mince pie! So sweet! The place was warm and so serum. Was nice to witness the locals enjoying a drink together. Lovely. They had an amazing xmas tree too, an 11 footer! Xxx.

Food here was great value traditional pub food. We had a large party on boxing day and they looked after us well. Everything you could want from a country pub, Good ales, decent wine list and they can put togther a decent bloody mary. Recomend.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Great place to stay, nice food and the accommodation is in a separate building so is quiet. Would go again.

Excellent historic 'Oldy World' rural Inn complete with low beamed ceilings and log fires. We had booked the small double room which was adequate with comfy bed (rooms are external to main building). Evening meal and breakfast was first class and staff were polite and very helpful.

We enjoyed an overnight stay at the white horse. Oldie world country establishment. We had an excellent evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Staff very friendly.

Absolutely beautiful part of the world, all the staff made us feel welcome from start to finish, the food was wonderful, we had a beautiful quirky little room, even the locals were friendly, cannot recommend enough!

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. You can tell that a lot of thought and effort has gone into every single detail of this place, and it pays off big time. The service was impeccable, the food was the best we've ever had. The decor is very elegant and tasteful yet cosy and inviting. We simply didn't want to leave and will certainly be going back.

A lovely place to stay. We had a great time. Food, rooms and staff are great. Would highly recommend this. We will be returning soon. Great place from which to explore the Cotswolds.

Great food good accomodation and friendly staff couldn't give it less that 5stars.

The service is appalling. Our waiter probably checked on our table once or twice in two hours. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was probably the worst I ever had! I had asked the waiter to bring me some olives to give it more flavor, but by the time he brought them (about 30 minutes after asking), I had already finished my drink. The food is quite good and that is what really saves this place (as well as the nice atmosphere) … French fries are out of this world! They just need to get better service and learn how to make a darn Bloody Mary!

A lovely comfy bed and a great shower, a large spider in the corner also seemed to enjoy the bathroom. Breakfast was also good, a nice choice.
