Old decor, the room stunk, the bathroom was tiny, heating was crap, hot water took forever to get warm, no facilities, not even a garden that I knew of. The owner just wanted to give me the keys and get rid of me. Poor signage omg I can go on forever.

A lovely little guest house. The rooms were really comfortable with our own en suite. A great location as well. Breakfast was brilliant and the staff were absolutely fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Stayed here for the night before my wedding. And my wedding night. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly and lovely, breakfasts were delicious. And room was comfortable and clean. Thank you. Would recommend them again.

Have stayed here twice and would recommend it. Adequate parking and very convenient for Banbury centre. Good sized rooms, great breakfast and very friendly hosts.

Clean and warm rooms. It is really a quite place, perfect to take a rest after a busy day. Close to city centre and lot of restaurants/pubs can be found nearby the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Ashlea over the MotoGP weekend. Ayman and Julie are absolutely lovely, and the room & breakfast was great. Our room was so cosy and we both slept really well! We will definitely be back next time we are in Banbury. Thank you so much x x.

The Ashlea Guest house is a great, family run guest house. It's centrally located, so a short to all the sights of Banbury, has comfortable rooms and a cracking breakfast. It's so enjoyable, I've stayed many times.

Breakfast is good, price was good that it was the thursday before Silverstone and virtually everywhere across the county was booked up. Staff are friendly, room was a bit compact and the only down side was that the mattress on the bed was worn with a big dip in it and I am sure the springs had collapsed… mattress should have been swapped out ages ago. Would have been 4-5 stars if not for that.

We had 1 night there met up with family, from up north. The staff were very helpful and friendly, because we booked 4 rooms we had our own little block. It was great would definitely stay there again.

Room was a good size, clean and tidy — a rarity at this price point. Parking was provided and staff/owners were very friendly. Included breakfast was a very simple continental offering or a traditional English cooked breakfast. Good value for the price, but don't expect The Savoy. Would definitely recommend this guest house.

Only a brief overnight stay while visiting family, but Ashlea is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The owners obviously care about guests' experience and my room exemplified that. Breakfast was well cooked and accompanied by a pleasant conversation. My only concern was a noisy guest in the room above mine, but that was only a brief period of stomping around and beyond Ashlea's control.

We wanted a weekend away and didn't want to spend a great deal. Ashlea gave us exactly this. Lovely clean rooms, great breakfast and the lady who saw us in was lovely and really helpful. The cheapest room we could find at a B and B in Banbury but the quality wasn't reflective in the price. Nice and easy aprking and a 10 min walk to town. Would really recommend.
