Superb place with so much history.

Excellent Sunday lunch, lovely atmosphere and friendly efficient staff, would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful meal there: fish & chips. I’m not sure what the fish was but from the size I assume it was Moby Dick! On a serious note it was delicious. The batter was not greasy and really light. Also, such beautiful surroundings and lovely looking building. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel and the bedrooms are nicely decorated. The staff were really friendly and helpful and couldn't fault the service at all. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, food was great and so was the breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Covid safe, great food, great staff.

Went for quick drink one day. Loved it so much booked for evening meal the following evening. We were not disappointed. Highly recommend for both quality of service and standard of food — thank you.

Delightful staff, such comfortable beds. Well situated in the area, and dinner and breakfast was great. Really disappointed with the afternoon tea, not what we hoped for. Would certainly choose to stay there again!

Lovely roast dinner, great portions. Nice window seating for 5 of us, very pleasant and attentive service from the staff.

The a Hotel has amazing facilities — great pub — lounges and dining areas! The gardens and courtyards are beautiful — well designed and the seating areas would be great in summer! Our room is special — 4 poster bed — large seating area in front of a rustic fire place with a stone accent wall! The cupboard space was a little small The staff are extremely friendly / helpful and accommodating.

Everyone who works here has been caring and courteous and wants to make sure you are having a great stay. Especially ALEX — we loved her!

This is our first visit and being a seasoned traveller, this hotel for us is outstanding. All staff have been great as has the food. Would recommend the King Charles Suite we stayed in… thank you.

Fantastic hotel in an excellent location in a very nice village. Superb evening meal which was very reasonable priced. Breakfast was also fantastic and there was a great variety to choose from at both meals.

Lovely place but bathroom could have been cleaner. Pillows very lumpy. Staff very nice.

Beautiful exterior and bar area. Our room wasnt overly spacious but had a very large and comfy bed. Cooked breakfast was good and the pastries were also notable. Parking is tight but staff were very considerate and moved their car so we could park.

Great venue and lovely decor. Only piped on for a drink and there was a good selection. However all are reassuringly expensive.

A beautiful place to visit for refreshment. Lovely cushioned seats to sit on and very pleasant staff. I only went in for a cup of tea and was rewarded with a pot that easily held 4 cups. It came with a jug of milk that had plenty for people who liked milky tea. Even though I only wanted a cup of tea I wasn't rushed. Very nice old building used to good advantage.

Loved the hotel and the rooms. Definitely worth the drive. Our room opened into a patio. Lovely large room and bed. The breakfast was optional and ok. The hotel Interiors and common areas were beautiful and the staff were helpful.

Food was brilliant. Just took a while to come. Attentive servers and a warm welcoming atmosphere.

Mixed feelings on this visit. The venue and bar were excellent as usual but the food in the restaurant left a lot to be desired. It's a shame — it was so good previously.

Found&Loved this wonderful very old. Beamed pub, deep in the heart of the Cotswolds, wonderful, welcoming roaring open fire, much appreciated on a very cold, but bright & sunny first, day of Spring, very attentive Staff & amazing food. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, bar is cosy and restaurant is great. The bed wasnt particularly comfortable though. It felt like my feet were abkve my head.

We have just enjoyed a weekend stay at the White Hart in Moreton in Marsh. Booked through Secret Escapes, two nights bed and breakfast was just £120. The hotel was refurbished during the latter half of 2017 and it was wonderfully styled, inside a very historic building. The room was quirky and had all the facilities you would need. What made the stay so pleasurable was the fine service we received from check-in, to dinner in the fantastic restaurant, a good cooked breakfast and then sadly, check-out. Highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere to stay whilst exploring the Cotswolds.

Excellent service from all staff, food was wonderful and the room was fantastic. Loved the shower everything was clean and up to date even had sky in the room. Would defiantly recommend and visit again.

We stumbled across this place when we got lost & had to ask a staff member (Dan — who is amazing & deserves a raise btw) where we were. From the get go he was fantastic & helped us find our accomodation. Then this place was our go-to when the UK had a freak snowfall & we were snowed in. The food is incredible (thanks so much chef! ), the atmosphere is super cozy & inviting (also really beautiful). The staff go above & beyond & the mulled wine & selection of beers is great. Loved it all. Thanks so much!

We stayed in the noir room in winter and it was lovely and warm, great sized room with a large bath. Room is nice and warm after a long day out in the cold. Watch out for the cobbles when you leave the bar though…

A beautiful hotel! The gardens are presented beautifully as well as the rooms! The food is fantastic, and presented well. The staff are very friendly especially enjoyed the company of Dan, Julie & Will.

Quaint little hotel in Moreton-in-marsh. We had an excellent stay here. The room was gorgeous, well decorated, the bed was so comfortable and the employees are so friendly! We also loved the lounge and the outdoor space. We ended up eating at the hotel's restaurant both nights of our stay. Would definitely come back!

Do not be deceived by the picture showing the beef burger on their website. This evening I was served a cremated 3" burger that I couldn't cut. It came with 6 chips, truly awful experience only rectified by the wonderful lads behind the bar.

Lovely hotel with lovely rooms and food; we are staying in a courtyard room with four poster bed and French doors to our own secluded patio — fantastic.

Room was nice, but there was a lot of light coming through the blinds from the floodlit garden outside. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were helpful.

Food was excellent, staff were extremely accommodating of my large family and young children. Shame about the long wait but the food was worth it. Would highly recommend.

A group of us (6 people and 5 dogs) ended up here for a meal on Sunday evening after not being able to get food at a local pub. We received great service and although we started in the courtyard the staff were able to get us inside without too much delay. The food and wine were fab. A great evening with friends as well.

Really lovely hotel with cosy bar and nice outside area to have a few drinks. I was able to take my dog who was made as welcome as I was. The manager (didn't get his name, sorry) was excellent and accommodating. Room on the first floor was spacious with comfortable bed and powerful shower. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the restaurant as there were no vegan options — maybe this is on the cards for the future?

Just spent the weekend in moreton in marsh and decided to visit the white hart for a drink and a spot of lunch on Friday. One hour turned into two and two into three! Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. We enjoyed it so much we popped in for a drink on Saturday evening and a late lunch/early supper on Sunday. The food on Sunday from the bar menu was exceptional. Hats off to the chef. Beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Can recommend both the gnocchi as a starter and the pan fried hake for the main. We even treated ourselves to desserts. Really great service from everyone. We would recommend a visit.

Had a fantastic dinner in the White Hart Royal Hotel restaurant yesterday evening. The staff were excellent and attentive without being intrusive, the menu selection had a good mix of traditional British dishes and the food itself was delicious. This was all wrapped up with an extremely reasonable bill. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute of it! The building is very old and has loads of character, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are all fantastic, they are very professional and polite, a real credit to the business. Finally, the food and drink is brilliant, some excellent dishes on offer, all perfectly cooked and presented. I cannot fault this place at all, will definitely be returning and can highly recommend it to anyone else.

Just got Ho, e after a lovely weekend break celebrating friends 50th birthday. Hotel was stunning and immaculate. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food suburb, steak pie was amazing! Would rate 5* and will be returning, maybe one time for Christmas as the menu looks fab for this year.

Stayed there for my 50th, we had a good time and the service there was extremely efficient.
