Had a brilliant half spa day with a full body massage by Emma. I haven’t felt so relaxed in a long time! The spa was nice and quiet and the staff were really helpful and friendly. My massage was fantastic, took away all my knots and walked out feeling 10ft taller! Thank you to you the team!

I stayed overnight at the hotel and made use of the Spa facilities. We ate in the restaurant. What an absolute gem of a hotel first class service from all the staff an absolute credit to the hotel. I completely recommend the hotel. I was sorry to leave today as this thus far has been the highlight of our holiday.

Such a lovely stay. Myself and my husband stayed in the beams room to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary the room was spotless Had everything that we needed. Evening meal and breakfast was lovely all staff were very helpful and polite. The spa fantastic the treatments that we had were so relaxing and the spa facilities after were fantastic. Thanks for a great stay!

Had a wonderful cotswolds calming spa break yesterday and overnight stay at Hatherley manor. Food fantastic, spa was lovely and relaxing. Fabulous treatments. We had a lovely stay.

We had our Christmas Dinner there tonight and were assured before arrival that COVID regulations were being adhered to and that the room would be well venerated and reduced capacity… what a joke… they crammed as many people as they could and no doors or windows were open. No masks were worn by other tables when moving around the room and when staff were questioned about this… they didn't care… I felt very uncomfortable I this environment and some of out party left… at no point were their covid policy implemented and such a dangerous environment with the new covid variant being so prominent … I would certainly never recommend this place again.

We arrived and was directed to our room. The hallways were completely cluttered with laundry, dirty cups/glasses, rubbish bags everywhere.
Our room was adequate, phone didn’t work, no tea sugar or coffee. Spa was good, had great facilities. Staff were helpful. Dinner was 6/10 small portions. The whole place is very tired and in need of some investment.

Used The Spa really plush, great Team helpful, friendly but professional, and fabulous massage by Gaby. Lunch was generous portions.
Will repeat the experience soon.

Enjoyed a lovely spa day on Thursday 6 May. I opted for a full body massage, the treatment was very relaxing and Lizzie was professional and obviously well trained. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The day also included lunch which was very tasty and very enjoyable, Thankyou.

Went for a lovely afternoon tea in the walled garden. Lots of space, great service with friendly staff and delicious food. A prosecco added to finish off celebrating our first trip out of 2021

Hatherley Manor is a little gem of a hotel. Clean rooms and lovely location. The Spa is a real highlight and one of the best I’ve visited. Really helpful staff. Will be returning!

Such a lovely hotel, room was clean and tidy, bathroom was perfect and everything well presented. Covid regulations were great also, can’t fault it on that side of it at all, BUT Just a shame that staff members who were on duty during lockdown were having an orgy in the room next to ours until 2 am with loud music and people screaming all night wanting more etc etc won’t go into what they were screaming out… When you’ve traveled 600 miles and been awake since 3am it’s the last thing you want is a full blown staff orgy in the room next door, when you want to sleep as you have several hundreds miles to travel the next day also. Just would have been better if staff had a room away from guests if this is what they are up to! 🤣 Food last night the wife’s was great mine was a tesco bought battered fish, chips were nice Breakfast be warned £14 for 2 sausages in a bread bun is a complete rip off A great shame as we were looking to come back to this hotel but NEVER AGAIN.

Stayed there recently on a spa break with 3 friends celebrating a special birthday. The staff went out of their way to make our stay special. Recommend the Dewington restaurant there for tasty food. Great spa and a thoroughly lovely spa break. Thank you Hatherly Manor.

Recently stayed at the hotel. Staff are absolutely fantastic hotel and spa superb. Only down side is we booked a day before we come we rang to confirm spa was open which they reassured us it was but unfortunately failed to tell us that you have to book 2 hour time slots in the spa. By time we arrived for the whole weekend there was only one hour slot left in the spa on the Saturday and 2 hours on the Sunday which we accepted but if we would of know this we wouldn’t have booked. There isn’t really much else to do around the area. But we made the most of it had our hour in the spa and then spent the rest of the afternoon drinking gin. I’m guessing that if it wasn’t for the covid situation this wouldn’t normally be the case. Don’t be put off just make sure you book your time slot before hand.

Amazing Sunday roast lunch … the best ever eaten away from home! Fabulous dining area, service and a beautiful setting … superb value for money.

First visit for my sisters birthday treat, we had a midweek stay from when we arrived to when we left the staff were all friendly and attentive especially the young lady on reception. We had afternoon tea booked for our arrival which was produced exactly on time. Spa treatments were booked for the afternoon the spa was lovely and the therapists good. Evening meal was delicious. The following morning lovely breakfast. Our room was spacious and overlooked the spa area the historic dining rooms were beautifully decorated and atmospheric, our only negative comment was that some easy listening classical music in the background would have been nice rather than cover versions of popular songs.
Thank you to all the staff both hotel and spa for making our stay a good one, we would happily return.

Went for a spa day today. It's all new and squeaky clean. All the staff are friendly and the massage and facial were excellent. Great facilities and a lovely lunch in the spa cafe. We will definitely go back.

I can’t thank Kayleigh and the team enough for my wedding. Every tiny detail was taken care of both on the day and in the year leading up to it. Would 100% recommend Hatherley Manor for your big day. If (like me) you don’t know the first thing about how to plan, and all the little bits you need to organize, they took it all on and essentially ran it from start to finish. My wedding coordinator rang all my suppliers to ensure they all arrived at the right time and even helped my husband writing signs the day before as he was a little overwhelmed.
It was a stressful few months before the wedding with a new baby and a house move and they took this on board and left me just having to focus on getting myself ready.
The manager even fed my baby as he screamed whilst I walked down the aisle.

What a lovely relaxing morning at this luxury spa! I went with my friend who had guest pass to use spa.
The spa facilities were great — sauna, steam room, pool and jacuzzi.
Good size indoor and outdoor seating area to make a great atmosphere. Clean and modern. Elemis products. Friendly staff and free car park. I would recommend spa and definitely visit again. Thank you.

Just come back from an amazing weekend away, the staff here are so warm and welcoming, the spa is gorgeous and really relaxing, The restaurant was lush with very friendly staff! Overall it was an incredible weekend away and anyone who wants to get away away from the world this is the place for you!

Had a lovely stay this weekend for a hen party. Rooms are a bit dated but did the job! the spa is 5*! amazing treatments and great facilities! the restaurants options for vegetarians/vegans were poor. We had a 3 course meal and I ended up not eating dinner because it was so bland and I heard a lady on another table make the same comment to member of staff. I was nervous for breakfast but it was very nice and the staff quickly brought out my Vegetarian items. I would definitely visit again but I wouldn't eat here unless more options were available. We also wanted a bottle of champagne to celebrate and chose a bottle on show to be told they're only for display purposes which was a bit misleading and slightly disappointing so we had to choose something else. X.

Visited Hatherley Manor with my wife for an overnight Spa break. The Spa facilities and treatments were first class. The 3 course evening meal was delicious and our superior room (the Swallows) was peaceful, spacious and beautifully decorated. Will definitely be visiting again.

Have just had our daughters wedding reception at Hatherley, I would like to give Steve and his team a massive thank you. The venue looked amazing, the welcome canapes delicous (every one commented on them) meal perfection. Every thing was perfect, service quick and efficent, staff very pleasant nothing was to much trouble. Rooms lovely especially the bridal suite, we even had the after wedding breakfast all together the next morning a lovley finish to an amazing day. The Spa fantastic will be going there again, treatments fantastic felt amazing. Would highly recommend every thing in one perfect place.

Went for a wedding there thr food was awful especially if you are vegitarian or vegan. Staff had no idea what was happening the day was really disorganised. And on the day of the wedding rather than focus on the guests they had management were talking to other couples and arranging there wedding.

Really don't get the bad reviews, my wife and I just stayed here for the weekend on the spa package and rooms a decent, food is good but the spa is definitely a four or five bubble spa! Yes the food and service was a bit lacking but for the price we got plus with the spa being frankly, the best thing this side of Eforea its definitely worth it.

Old dark lack lastre yet tastefully furnished. Very drab sombre decorations. Good cuisine spacious clean rooms.

Stayed on a Date Night package. There was a wedding reception on when we arrived so check in was a bit busy. Had chocolates in our room (Beams room which was lovely). Used the spa for the day — lovely pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, experience showers etc. Had a great lunch sat outside with the bottle of Prosecco that was part of the package. Then a lovely 3 course meal in the restaurant with a bottle of house wine included. Service was great. There was a birthday party going on in the evening so there was a bit of noise going on with loud music but it finished around midnight. Great breakfast and then we had full body massages in the dual treatment room which were so relaxing. With the offer we had early check in from 1pm and check out from 12pm which meant we didn't have to rush. Would love to come back again. We used SpaFinder vouchers too which was great.

Great spa, newly opened and great surroundings. The spa felt relaxing and you could spend the day on treatments and unwind.

Just had a lovely night's stay here. On arrival the staff were polite but didn't explain where the spa, dining room etc were. The room was lovely with a four poster bed. Trouser press, hairdryer, robes, slippers and toiletries there. Bed was Very comfortable. My package included cream tea on arrival and I had already messaged them to state I was gluten free and assured that was ok. Eventually mine arrived, but was lovely. Had two Spa treatments booked for me… the staff were very friendly and my lady was very nice and good. Evening meal was very enjoyable, even my gluten free was catered for. The staff were very good too. Breakfast was a little confused as the cooked breakfast I'd ordered was not the one that arrived but was quickly remedied once I'd pointed this out. Plenty of choices, hot and cold. Glad we had used the gym earlier to work out! Very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Have just returned from a spa stay package, and we had the most amazing time! The spa is stunning, treatments were fab (recommend Sammy in particular, she is so lovely and clearly amazing at what she does! ). All the staff were so accommodating.
Our room was very nice, a lovely 4 poster bed, and all very clean. Have read some comments about the tea/coffee etc being in a box in a cupboard as an issue, but to be honest, opening a cupboard to see what’s inside it isn’t exactly hard work or an inconvenience, and I personally felt it looked tidier this way!
We had dinner included and everything we ate was beautifully presented and tasted devine! Breakfast was a really good variety of continental and cooked buffet, again very nice.
Everything is stunning about this hotel, our whole experience was just wonderful, we will definitely be returning soon.

It is a lovely hotel in a very pretty spot. We just had a standard room and the bed was too small. Staff in the dining room were not the best but reception staff were lovely. I had a beautiful and relaxing massage/facial in the spa. Definitely one of the better places I have stayed in England.

Beautiful and popular wedding venue I’m honoured to DJ at for a variety of weddings throughout the year. Lovely place, would highly recommend this venue to any future weddings!

They've described themselves as Hotel and Spa on their website. Turned up for a two night stay only to be told the spa is not open until May. Went back to the website to look for small print and hidden away it says spa due to open in early 2018… Surely May is mid 2018? Anyway… They would only refund us one night. Not happy at all. Grabbed screenshots and our bank agreed it was falsely advertised as spa so reimbursed us the second night. The place is dated and rundown in any case so would not recommend even if the spa actually existed.

The hotel looks great from the outside but a little dated inside. The service in the restaurant was poor with us having to wait 20 minutes from being seated before our order was taken. Food is mediocre with the "creme brulee" being more of an egg flan. The table next to us also didn't eat theirs presumably for the same reason. The heating comes on without warning and made the room unbearable to sleep in. Coupled with the paper thin walls in which I could hear people talking and then snoring. If you're just after a room then it's ok, but if you're after any kind of luxury or comfort, it starts to feel like a half a**ed retirement home.

Have been to this hotel many times for meetings and for business, i. E Prom photography. Ideal for meetings and celebrations. Well situated with excellent catering. And not too far off the beaten track.

This is a nice stately manor house with newer additions to accommodate extra guests and convention or party functions. It would be great as a wedding destination or romantic weekend getaway. It is close to the airport but far enough away to keep the noise to a minimum.

I organised a weekend with old colleagues and decided to stay at the Manor Hotel. I have to say during the time we stayed nothing was too much trouble. Mel the reservation coordinator set everything up perfectly and the team of receptionists took over from there. Absolutely fantastic. Great rooms, Great food and looked after by an excellent team of people. Not something you usually get throughout a stay but in all the continual service of little things lead up to a great weekend which we all thoroughly enjoyed. No bad comments from any of our party. A big sincere thanks.

Attended for a wedding party, staff were very friendly, efficient and the day/evening ran very smoothly. Food was delightful and soft drinks reasonably priced. Our dogs were welcomed and great secure field for them to be exercised in.

Used the venue for our annual staff awards. I worked doing the music. Venue was clean, well staffed, and snacks we had were nice. Venue looked great when dressed too.

Nice enough but for us as we had dogs unfortunately there was no where to eat comfortably with them. They have a bar area however the tables are low and eating dinner off them wasn't ideal. The room was a little dated and unfortunately no fridge. For other guests without a dog if they were eating in the restaurant the experience would have been better. Also no bin for us to dispose of the dogs waste. Had to use their giant bin on the far side of the car park. Lovely building though and nice grounds outside the front.

Travelled up from Devon to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary 26 / 27 August.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff our room was a little dated with some of the lights not working, grubby marks on the walls, and some of the breakfast items were a bit overcooked unfortunately.
An unfortunate issue with a pair of drunk residents tainted my visit but it was dealt with efficiently and to my satisfaction the following morning very professionally by the reception staff and duty manager.
Minor faults but attention to these room / food related details would have got you a full house. Thanks for a nice stay hopefully the addition of a spa in 2018 will mean all the rooms will get a refresh as your a bit isolated so you need to make the overall experience a little better for future patrons.

Went to one of the function rooms for a school Prom. Great time! Food wasn't great but service was prompt and the venue has a good atmosphere. However, drinks at the bar seem overpriced.

The Service here from all members of staff is excellent and they are well accomdating and polite. Standard Rooms are good for the price, if you stay in the deluxe rooms these are spectular, lavish and well worth the money. Overall an excellent stay.

I was there for a friend's funeral the building it's self is beautifuly elegant and the service was spectacular.

Nice tidy rooms comfey and clean hotel in genral however food is massively overpriced for Pretty much a bare plate now I know this is somthing you get in fine restrants but usaly the food is quality, breakfast the egg had lots of shell still in it and almost chipped a tooth on the bacon. If you need a room for the night without food then this is the place x.

On business. Nice surrounding. Like the running track behind the hotel. Clean and quiet.

DO NOT STAY HERE — THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE DIRT! My 3 year old son badly cut his food on glass that the manager admitted to being in the room and they didn't so much as apologise……accused me of lying and threatened to sue me for libel!

I had a really great night at Hatherley Manor, with a lovely meal and disco in the main function room. The food was lovely and the entertainment was great. I would definitely recommend Hatherley Manor.

Terrible service, chaotic management and zero customer care This is Fawlty Towers without the humour. The hotel’s main purpose seems to be either as a wedding factory or for bulk deal over-night coach parties. Anybody else trying to stay here, beware: you will be put at the bottom of the pile. We haven't had such a bad experience in a hotel for many years. Details as follows: We booked three rooms for a total of four nights for a family event. For ourselves we specifically requested an Executive Family Room with a bath, but when we arrived were given a room with only a shower. We complained and were moved to a comparable room with a bath. However, the next day were told by management that this was a mistake and we needed to vacate the room as they needed to squeeze 3 beds into it for a wedding party. A great deal of force was brought to bear on us, the alternative room with a bath offered was not of a similar standard and, in spite of being offered a free night’s stay, we decided to vote with our feet and leave. In addition to the above, one night’s dining in the hotel’s restaurant was enough. Service was slow and amateurish and the manager, John, who was also waiting at table, seemed unable or incapable of cracking the whip to get food out in a timely fashion or to provide what had been ordered. What came was also not properly cooked. We complained and he accepted that the service wasn’t good enough and we were offered our dinner for free.

I stayed 2 weeks (mid/late-January) in Hatherley Manor on a business trip. The staff was very helpful, the room was a good value for the price I paid, and the room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and lunch and evening dinners are really excellent for food English :) One of the best! I would recommend this hotel without hesitation except heating and the atmosphere of the room. Only downside: it cuts completely heating in mid-morning so if stay you the day in the room "He peels off well".
