Whilst we found the owner Rosemary, was delightful, and at first glance, the property was everything we saw on the internet. There was a welcoming courtyard and a well furbished dining room, we unfortunately, had the experience of having a booking crossed with another internet booking so, the court yard room we booked wasn't available. We were shown to an attic room 3 floors up and although it was clean and furbished very nicely, with twin beds (we wanted a queen) it was too small for 2 people, very hot and opening the windows meant it was very noisy from the street below. The breakfast was exceptional, the service 1st class… we would recommend staying at this Michelin approved property except we would say do not accept the attic room.
My experience has been to have had the utmost difficulty finding information about The Old Brewhouse on line : it seems to have addresses in 2 different roads — only one of which is shown on s Google map. It appears to have 2 different phone numbers, and it looks doubtful if it is really 2 minutes from Cirencester centre. It tells a searcher on line to email its address, but we are given not an email address to do it on. Therefor I am unable to email for my information required! What I have spent hours on line trying to discover is: are there any rooms on ground floor level, b&b, in Cirencester. I am a single would-be visiter coming on National Express.
