We have just returned home after spending another amazing 5 nights at this lovely hotel. This is our 3rd visit. It’s situated in a lovely village with a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Close by are lovely walks with fantastic views of the beautiful Cotswolds. A fantastic choice of breakfast is also included with plenty of refills of tea and coffee. Would definitely recommend the dinner menu in the evening. So much to choose from and the food is just amazing. Our thanks to Holly, Zoe, Sonja, Chloe, Carlos, Tao and all the attentive staff at the Noel Arms for a wonderful few days. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful hotel, room, fantastic restaurant and coffee shop. Four night stay superb. Staff so friendly and attentive. We will be back, highly recommend, love the place.

Lovely hotel, great food, staff were lovely, they love our dog and wanted to keep it, lovely walks around the area, nice shops to visit, well worth a visit.

What can one say except, astonishing, rooms excellent, staff brilliant and food superbly cooked and presented.
Great location and so traditional inside with a quality coffee shop.
Just to finish I have to mention staff again, they are outstandingly friendly and helpful, well done.

Such a lovely quaint hotel.
Everything is so clean and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

A lovely hotel with fab food.

We had a nice lunch here on this occasion. We have stayed here a few times over the years so feel very at home here! Things were very different this time due to Covid restrictions and it was very busy so service was a little slow but everything else was spot on!

Lovely friendly hotel situated right in the middle of the high street. Perfect location to explore.

Lovely afternoon tea great coffee and lovely warm scones. Friendly happy staff and all nice and clean and COVID friendly. Highly recommend will definitely revisit.

Stayed the night before New Year’s Eve, receptionist when we checked in was very nice and friendly. Main problem was room 15 is very noisy? Didn’t realise until when we decided to go to sleep later in the evening and it was to late to let reception know as they had closed for the evening.
It sounds like a extraction fan (kitchen) or something like that. When we checked out we were asked if everything was ok and I explained the room was noisy and the new receptionist just said she will get it looked at?
On a whole the downstairs has been done up very nice but upstairs needs some TLC and updating.

The antique charm of this hotel will not appeal to everybody: The floors are uneven and the floorboards squeak, it's easy to hear neighbouring guests and nearby pub noise. The rooms can be stuffy. Bathrooms are clean and modern. Restaurant food is high quality. The Wi-Fi is unusably slow. Excellently located with free on site parking.

Great location. Centrally located on High Street. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, lots of water pressure in the shower. Breakfasts are excellent. Staff very friendly. Partly built in the 1400s, new part built in the 1600s. Nice little pub with board games to play. We enjoyed the courtyard.

The bar and restaurant are great. Nice and friendly staff Special recipes and with vegan options. The outdoor garden is comfortable and central.

My husband and I were excited for our stay in the Cotswolds, but staying at the Noel Arms lessened our experience there. TL;DR: we met locals at the pub and as soon as we told them we were at the Noel Arms (before making any comments on our accommodation), they all rolled their eyes, saying it was a bad representation of the service that the Cotswolds provides. The room itself was sparce. I’d compare the decor to that of a parish rectory. This was all fine for the price, but it did not feel especially comfortable. We made a dinner reservation our first night and the food was fine. The hotel boasts it’s food awards, and these may be true for the Indian dishes, but we stuck to traditional English food and it was just “ok”, certainly not memorable. The ambiance and service were sub par. The dining room was absolutely silent, save for other guests complaining about the service they were receiving. We never felt comfortable having a conversation over our meal. Maybe some light dinner music would have helped. The waiters seemed to have no idea what was going on. Also, upon entering the dining room there was a disgusting stain that looked like vomit that was only half cleaned up. Cleaning service issues continued in our room. After getting back to the room at night, I went to hang my coat that was sitting on the chair and noticed a large wet stain on it. It smelled very strongly of cleaning solution that had been spilled down the back.

Went for a business meeting in the restaurant/bar area and had a four person table reserved for two. The staff were so friendly and understanding when we told them what was happening, came over to check that everything was okay or if we needed anything. The setting is gorgeous along with the hotel itself, has a traditional style bar and lounge area and also a more modern conservatory area for dinner guests and the like. Also an outside area with tables set against the Cotswold stone surrounding Chipping Campden. Really lovely place overall.

Stayed here for a quiet two nights, and had a thoroughly amazing time. Food was amazing, from the homemade pork scratchings to the black lamb curry, which was the best curry I have had since my visit to Thailand. Staff was always helpful and polite. Would recommend this place to anyone for a stay in the Cotswold.

Has to be my favourite winter pub/restaurant. Great Cotswold provenance with modern twist interiors. Amazing food, open fires and beers. I don’t go as often as I’d like but in the past I have really enjoyed the mid-week curry nights for a modern take on some fabulous meals.

It's very oldie worldly which we like. However the room was cold with very draughty window. Food was excellent and warm and cosy downstairs. Staff friendly and attentive.

Fantastic hotel. Excellent service and amenities. Gorgeous breakfast pleasent rooms, bar and restaurant. Good parking. Dog friendly.

Went for the Christmas eve to Boxing day period. Loacted in the centre of Chipping Camden. Service was incredible. The manager Karl was excellent. Good sense of humour and kept the locals at bay. Food was incredible including the Indian style breakfast. Would highly recommend.

A colleague booked two rooms for one night, I had not stayed there before. I had breakfast there on the way to a conference at Campden BRI about 5 or 6 years ago which was very good. My colleague Rob and I had afternoon tea and cake on arrival which was very good. The room I had was huge and most comfortable considering it was freezing outside. We sampled the real ale which was excellent and after a couple had an excellent dinner and very good red wine. Considering I work within the red meat industry I had the veggie dish which was superb. We later retired to the fire for coffee. All I can honestly say is that I thought it was excellent and enjoyed my stay albeit a short one. Some of the staff didn’t seem to be that happy, however the young lady serving coffee and cakes on Monday afternoon was a top girl… full of beans! I would recommend a visit anytime.

The hotel was good, clean & friendly staff Had a bar snack which was not cheap but ok The room had a good size bath.

This place was a fab find for our group. Great choice of good quality food and coffee served here, including some GF alternatives which was also appreciated. Seating outside at the rear was nice on the recent warm weekend too. Needless to say we visited on two separate occasions whilst staying in the area for a few days. Would highly recommend!

A lovely pub that I've used for a drink a few times before but today we stayed for a meal and both had incredible Indian curries by the award winning Sri Lankan chef. Great value and quality.

Really great hotel. In a beautiful town. Close to a local shop and cash point. Good sized clean room, comfy bed and good sized bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with local produce. All staff we helpful and polite. Nothing we could fault with it.

Nice old building, friendly staff. However, avoid the restaurant at all costs. My wife and I went in for dinner, were seated, then ignored completely for 15 minutes and it wasn't busy. Another couple left, and we could hear them talking among themselves about the same treatment. No drinks, no "we'll be with you in a moment, " nothing.

Nice oldy-worldly pub/Hotel. Some issues with room charges but was soon resolved to our satisfaction. Booked 2 nights c/w special offers but sometimes felt we were treated differently to other guests. Will go again.

Good for coffee and cake. Recently refurbished coffee shop dosent sit well against the attached bar. Strangely I prefered the old set up. However the coffee is spot on!

Absolutely the best Christmas in years. The staff where excellent food fabulous. Really made to feel very special. Then there is the village and the walks. Stunning. Cracker loved it. The bad reviews… well some people are just miserable and gold plated wouldn't please. I can't fault this place and I've stayed in many places that have called themselves five star and this surpasses them all. Well done guys.

Ok for posh for a person unlike me. Rooms nice TV small and remote doesn't work properly, food very good but expensive.

OK accommodation, but very noisy. Room was really warm so needed to keep windows open all night. We were overlooking a courtyard and there was a lot of racket with people talking loudly into the early hours. Deliveries also started very early in the morning so we didn't get a very restful sleep. If staying here ask for a room away from courtyard.

Great pub, good selection of beers and good food.

Dropped in for a drink and also to feed our 16 month old. Nice selection of ales. Staff were really nice too and heated our baby food for us.

We went to the Noel Arms and — no surprises — sampled the local beer, which was tasty. Such a pretty house, such a pretty garden — classic pub feel and outdoor seating.

We went there for dinner and were not very impressed by the "award winning" curries. Portions are very good though and service is alright, staff smiling but the person who seemed to be the boss was not. Price wise, I found it slightly over priced for what it is. Setting is nice. Toilets were kept clean when we were there.

I didn't stay but stopped for lunch and had a good meal.

I have been here and the people working in here are very nice and cant miss my home when I was there.

Great food. Even the starters are very filling. Alcohol prices quite high however.

I didn't stay at Noel Arms Hotel, so I cannot rate this establishment based on rooms, amenities, etc. However, we did stop in for a bite to eat at lunch while passing through Chipping Camden, and the food and ambiance was excellent! The coffee was amazing as well. I would highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat while visiting the Cotswolds.
