They allow large groups and clientele who have a complete disregard for other guests
With loud music and noise late at night.

Me and my partner recently stayed in the Fisherman’s lodge for a little get away and absolutely loved it — a hidden gem! Staff were lovely, the barn was beautiful and the setting is stunning (they also threw in a complimentary bottle of Prosecco! ). What really made our weekend was the use of the hot tub/salt therapy room for 1hr a day at no extra cost. We also loved the on-site cafe and they even deliver it to your barn if you are feeling extra lazy haha! Would highly recommend, the only downside is I wished we could’ve stayed longer! We will definitely be staying here again.

Had the best 4 nights here stayed in the river view room with my boyfriend and our dog. Nice and spacious, very clean, well equipped (bbq provided too! ) & amazing view out onto the fields. Great walks around too. Would definitely return we loved it! X.

Amazing little piece of heaven tucked away from the world that we never knew existed. We stayed for 2 nights in River View Barn; which was perfect for us and our 2 young children. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Outdoor play area kept them entertained and the views, spa and gym and BBQ kept us happy. Amazing amenities and walks close by to River Crouch and SwallowTail Bar for a drink in the afternoon. Staff friendly and helpful. Goats in the local farm as well. So much more we could’ve seen and done. We will be back! We managed to leave our baby monitor behind and they have kindly offered to post this to us. Amazing! Highly recommend.

Presentation of rooms excellent — spotlessly clean.

Amazing venue for weddings and team retreats. The spa has all you need, a full boy massage from Salt marsh treatment room, the gym for a quick session, yoga and boot camp classes, a spa nad salt room for sauna and a noice dip in the Jacuzzi, I loved waking up in the morning and getting the view of the sun rise from the River view cottage. I stayed with the Wedding breakfast club and all the members of the team had such an amazing time last week! If you like a walk down the fields and the marina this is the place for you. Perfect for couples, children, and whole family.

We stayed in River View for 2 nights last week with the kids and dog. Had a lovely time. We used the spa and the breakfast in the cafe was amazing. Third visit but will definitely be going back again.

We had the best time, everyone was absolutely amazed by how beautiful it was there and the staff were all so lovely. Everyone went above and beyond and we couldn’t have celebrated at a better venue. Thank you for all your hard work to help us have the best wedding day! ❤️❤️❤️

We stumbled upon this little gem, what a beautiful place it is. We had a delicious lunch and visited the football golf and spa. Great service and value for money, highly recommend for a family visit or an outing with friends.

Just had an amazing weekend here. The accommodation is spotless and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

We booked exclusive use for my sisters hen do! The team were great with my hundreds of emails to make sure my sister had the perfect weekend!
The barns are all stunning, everything is there and the finishing details were fab! We loved the welcome we received and checking in and out were so easy.
Use of the gym and spa were great!
Now we just need another excuse to come back.

We had a lovely stay at creeksea while in Essex for a friends wedding. The rooms are all to a lovely standard with a rustic feel. Very clean. The site itself was lovely, great outside space, very quiet and beautiful setting. Onsite Cafe is a good touch and the food we had a was nice and a not to pricey. They also have a small park area for children. Very friendly and helpful staff! Onsite spa nd gym are brilliant and would definitely recommend — especially the hot tub with the doors open looking over to the boats! I wish we had booked an extra night so we could make use of the treatment rooms etc.

Absolutely love this place and highly recommend. We stayed in River View Barn which was so traditional, charming with all the facilities needed for a short self catering break with stunning views! They really have thought of everything you could need from
Washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea and coffee etc! So impressed… Towels and linen provided plus even towels for the gym and spa. About the spa, well it’s beautiful with stunning views over the fields to the river. We took our dog with us and again was just perfect for him with so much space to roam around. We ate at the Parlour cafe and the food plus the service was fabulous! Absolutely perfect place for a cheeky peaceful getaway in a beautiful location. Must point out the cleanliness too! Can’t wait to return.

This is our second stay. We find it clean, quiet and the barns are very comfortable with all you would need. Dog friendly too. Great gym and spa. Recommend having a massage. Great walking for the dog straight from the barns with no walking on roads. The Parlour Cafe is great for breakfast, lunch or coffee. The children's playgrounds are well kept and suited our 3 and 5 year old well. A lovely relaxing break.

Had a wonderful day at the Blues at Barn festival yesterday. Beautiful location. Good choice of menu on normal days and gluten free items too. Always enjoy a visit here for lunch.

Had a lovely time yesterday with my family and 3yr old granddaughter… had a lovely time and well worth the money… loved the storyteller and the trail looking for clues… thanks to all who organised x.

We found this place to be excellent, furnished and finished to a very high standard, very clean, and the staff couldn't have been more approachable and friendly. We enjoyed the use of the spa and the walks are lovely. There are not many places to stay in the Dengie and this is the best we have found by far. We extended our stay by a night as it was so peaceful and will definitely be staying here again. Recommended.

Can't fault it. And the gym is always clean and everything is modern and up to date.

Such a beautiful little place. Utilised the spa and jaquzi here, wasn't dissapointed would love to stay some time and service in the cafe/restaurant all the ladies did perfect.
