Thankyou for a lovely lunch I had the turkey and stuffing sandwich and hubby had the home made.

We just had a really lovely lunch, fantastic service and value, we will be back for sure!

We stayed last week. Maggie and Darren were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the family room, very spacious and had everything we needed. Lovely breakfast and we ate there every night. Food is fantastic. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Salmon with mushroom risotto was lovely and the lamb with portobello potatoes just as gorgeous. Highly recommend.

This is a very lovely, dog friendly pub, very warm and inviting.

Mangeress is lovely and friendly and staff are too drinks have a wide range and there is something for everyone down to your doggie. And if u prefer to sit outside in the chilly wet weather u can have a hot water bottle n blanket. Brilliant and to top it off they do food and u can stay here too win win we will return next time we are here.

Food was fantastic, staff are friendly and polite. Very helpful. Dogs welcome. Warm and cosy feel. Nicest place we’ve visited for a long time.

We stayed for 2 nights this week at the inn in the park and to be honest to begin with it was ok all the staff seemed pleasant enough. Until we ordered food which as stated before the menu is limited but they did steak and 2 variety’s. We ordered 2 sirloin but on had 1 so ordered the ribeye both steaks were tepid and my sirloin was more fat than meat. We told the waitress and the manager who is also a chef said sorry but his face didn’t agree, and then we were completely ignored and never approached again to see if we wanted the dessert menus or anything else come to that. I paid the bill at the same time as I ordered the overpriced drinks and was told afterwards that the meal had been discounted which I really don’t think they were. If you own or run an establishment and you can’t accept criticism then you are in the wrong job. It’s not my forte to complain about any establishment but to pay £22 and £20 for two steaks that were both cold and one virtually inedible is too much and I could hardly get a replacement as it was the last sirloin they had. We won’t be going back.

Live music evening was fantastic. Drink selection and prices were reasonable. Outside seating and dog friendly :-) Definitely worth a visit. Good parking if driving.

Excellent place to stay. Lovely and clean rooms, great food and friendly staff and only 68 steps to one of the South Coasts top beaches. Highly recommend :)

What a lovely surprise and wonderful find. I was with a friend and we were looking for a drink. Very well presented and clean. We decided to have a light lunch. The menu is limited but they get it so right. We had the shared fish platter. It was just perfect amount with nice thick cut smoke salmon.

Friendly nice clean love the flowers in the toilets. Altogether a nice visit.

I wanted to take my parents and God-parents out for a Sunday roast, and sadly it was a complete disaster. I was anticipating something very special as it was so expensive, alas, NO! My 1st plate came out smothered in gravy, this put me off as I was expecting it to come in a gravy boat, but I let it go at first, however when I looked at the 2 measly halves of roast potato I could see that they too were covered in gravy (yuk) and when I cut into the larger of the two it was under cooked and hard. The potatoes were clearly just peeled, cut and put into the oven, no par-boiling / no pre-shake to get that crispy outer layer. They were not cooked for long enough and came out like 'school dinner' roast pots. I complained. It was not just this though, I only had 2 small slices of fatty roast beef laid over half a parsnip (not crispy) and half a carrot (also covering one of the potatoes). So I asked for my meal to be replaced with cooked pots and my gravy on the side. When it came back it looked bad, same badly cooked pots, and no gravy (as requested) so I deconstructed it and there was my dinner: 2 slices of fatty beef that looked more like back bacon, 3 small quarters of potatoes (not crispy and fluffy) half a carrot / parsnip and a dollop of red cabbage, I was astounded that had they gall to charge a whopping £17.

Lovely place staff and food very nice. Plus side you can take the dog brilliant…

We were here for an evening buffet for our wedding celebrations. We also stayed the night with family. (& actually had a meal the evening before) We had a fantastic time, the food is unbelievably good, the service even better! Nothing too much trouble and the staff are so accommodating. I can not praise them enough. A special thank you to James (for all the pre-planning help) & Katy — customer service at its best!

It's a small inn that you enter via a delightful pub downstairs. Check in was fast. Everyone was courteous. It was quiet and pleasant and for a decent price. I'd stay there again and dine downstairs next time.

A lovely pub nestled away from it all. Spacious seating and a great place to meet friends. Parking available and also parking on the road. Only had drinks. Food menu looked nice but a touch on the expensive side.

Lovely place to visit food is superb the landlord and landlady are really lovely they make you feel so welcome and look after you whether it's your 1st visit or you have been many times if I could have I would have given it more than 5 ✨ ❤

Great welcome and friendly staff. Eaten there several times since their refurbishment and every meal has been excellent. Chicken dish is superb and highly recommend the brûlée.
