Faboulous friendly and very welcoming proprietors lots of interesting animals on site. Great views over the local coastline with great walks down to Chesil beach and Portland. Also great caravan camper camping site with amenities well worth a visit and stopover.

Lovely campsites with all the amenities, showers, toilets, wet room, plugs, washing up area, fridges and freezer, hire fire pits, plugs for your ghd's/hair dryer! Close to shops and sea, fields for miles. LUSH! We'll be back!

Generally really good standard all round. Toilets and showers are nice, location is great and loads of space. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the tents are as far away from the showers as can be even though they need them the most and no shop for basics like milk and water. Would definitely come again though!

Accommodated us for 1 night camping after calling them at 7pm. Got us out of a pickle. Clean wash area and great location and views. Fair price… thanks.

Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay, we were inexperienced campers had issue where we got van stuck the owners were very helpful and wasnt a problem helping us out, and the shower facilitys was absolutely amazing thank you very much.

A perfect hide away holiday! My son and I spent 2 nights in Swallows Rest and loved it! It’s conveniently located to the beach and many attractions in the area. Jane and Keith are great hosts. Keith even took my son to collect eggs in the morning. Thank you for a great break and we will definitely return! X.

Headed down to Weymouth this weekend and stayed in my camper.
Woke this morning and craved a shower to revitalise.
Googled campsites and stumbled across this beautiful little gem along with a lovely owner!
Keith (The owner I believe) let me use the shower block for free! …

I think this campsite is the best for sea views. Good clean site, Weymouth only 40min walk away, or bus stop near. Allways there camping.

We booked a room here for one night, midweek. Totally blown away by the setting. Beautiful house and grounds overlooking the sea. Pigs, ducks and chickens roam around the garden. The hot tub was amazing, even in November! You can go out back and look at the Alpacas which are gorgeous. The breakfast was first class. I'm a vegetarian so always a bit hit and miss, but I was catered for perfectly here. Every chance to exceed expectations was met, from the champagne at breakfast, to the cakes in the room. Jane is an attentitive, gracious host and was a delight with every interaction. If we were in the area again we'd stay here in a heartbeat. Thanks for making our little getaway a perfect memory.

We were there last week site is in a lovely setting owners were most helpful toilets and showers and washing facilities were outstanding down fall is that not enough lighting on site only one night light near toilet block and we were due to leave on the Monday but left early due to the noise from our neighbors with loud music and loose dogs running around until 11.30 we respected other people on site and kept our dog on lead because of that I would think twice about going again site rules are meant to be respected by everyone.

A B&B in a great location and full of character. The garden is filled with birds of all types and just beyond them is a great view of the sea. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast delicious.

We stayed for camping for only one night, but the site and facilities were amazing. The setting is lovely, and we wished we could have stayed for longer.

Had a fab stay with Jane and Keith (Saturday 4/03 — 6/03 in Redshank room). Our En-Suite Room was really comfortable and had a fab view of the sea. There were loads of little personal touches too like homemade cake/shortbread with the tea and coffee making facilities. Sparkling water plus still water all available in the room. Breakfast was really lovely and so much choice.
Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Didn't get a chance to walk up to see the Alpacas but we saw them in the distance but saw the horses and all the birds etc in their lovely grounds.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely going back for another stay.

Made very welcome including coffee and cake when we arrived. Most amazing set of ducks and the 2 pot bellied pigs wandering around the garden
Jane even gave us a lift to our restaurant in the evening. Room very nice followed by loverly breakfast. Definitely recommend it.

Faultless establishment… The best b&b I've ever had the privilege of staying in. My young daughter and I were blown away by the place. We felt like the luckiest girls in the world to be staying there. A very special place to stay and we are planning to return again and again. Can't wait till the next weekend of indulgence for us.
