On our return trip to The Alendale guest house Jaimie and Nicola were nothing short of amazing. Their attention to detail in terms of cleanliness as well as general knowledge of Weymouth and friendly approach sold it to us once again after having been a few years ago. The rooms had been done up this time around and the little touches didn’t go unmissed, light and airy with a homely feel made for a fantastic room! Informative as ever Jaimie and Nicola told us all about the hidden treats of Weymouth and which bits were best to visit. Having places such as Portland and Lulworth Cove meant me and my partner weren’t short of places to visit and walk around. The breakfast was tasty and Very accommodating to allergies and intolerants which gave us both peace of mind. We will most definitely be returning to the guest house in the future and look forward to seeing Nicola and Jaimie again.

Had a lovely stay at Alendale for 4 nights at the beginning of August. Jamie and Nicola were fabulous hosts! The breakfasts were gorgeous and they even catered for my very fussy husband! Our room had a sea view and was lovely, clean and bright! Loved that you could purchase bottles of water and sweets from the little tuck shop downstairs too. Would highly recommend the Alendale, we will definintley be going back!

We stayed here for three days in May and had a lovely time. Rooms are fresh, clean and airy and have been decorated to the highest standard. Nicola and Jamie are perfect hosts and their breakfast is the best. Will definately be going back. Well done guys.

Our stay at alendale was perfect, room was very nice and sparkling clean! wonderful couple who were great and extremely helpful, will definitely be back! location was great too pretty much everything we needed in walking distance. Thank you both for a lovely experience.

Stayed there march for a weekend great choice for breakfast good location excellent host Jaimie and Nicloa lovely bedroom near to the beach will recommended the alendale to all.

We stayed at the Alendale guest house at the start of May 2018. I was excited before we got there after seeing pictures and reading reviews.
On arrival Nicola met us in the car park and helped us with our bags. Her husband Jaime then checked us in and they gave us a map and told us all the good places to go.
On arrival in our room we had a card and bottle of bubbly on the bed (we got married the week before) and a lovely just married banner on the door.
Our room was beautiful decorated and so light and airy.
We had a view of the sea from our 2 comfy chairs in the room.
The little extras in the room really did it for me
We had binoculars, sewing kit, cotton wipes in the bathroom, ironing board, and a few other as well as lovely pictures.
Lovely cushions on the bed and as well as a duvet a thin blanket which was great as it was warm when we stayed.
Downstairs they also had a little tuck shop with crisps, cakes and muffins with an honesty tin which was just great.
Breakfast time was great the dining room was decorated with photos from the past and they were lovely to see and Jaimie told us about the history.
Breakfast it’s self was amazing I only had full English on one day as it was so filling, the bacon and sausages were locally sourced and they were beautiful, on the other days I had fresh fruit and yoghurt and poached eggs on toast and they were perfect.
We will certainly go back.

What a lovely bed and breakfast. The rooms were very nicely decorated, very clean to a very high standard, lovely comfy bed, power shower. Absolutely delicious cooked breakfast, nothing was any trouble, so many options. Definitely recommend this bed and breakfast if you are staying in weymouth.

Just come back from a fantastic weekend staying at the Alendale. Jamie and Nicola really are the perfect hosts and go that extra mile. They found out it had been my husband's 70th birthday on Tuesday and when we got back to our room on Saturday there was a card for him. I would certainly recommend this B&N.

Couldn't recommend or rate this lovely guest house highly enough. Jamie and Nicola are super friendly and truly make it a home from home. It was immaculate, our room was lovely with comfy beds and the breakfast was superb. We had two very happy children who were given balloon animals by Jamie as we departed which pleased them to no end and kept them amused in the car on the drive home. Thank you Jamie and Nicola for a brilliant stay.

On arrival I was greeted and shown to my room. My hosts are new to the business (but you would think they were old hands). Very kind and welcoming to their guests. Nothing was to much trouble. Always at hand when needed. Breakfasts yum yum always a choice and cooked fresh. Question is would I book again? In a heartbeat. Good luck for the future guys.

An excellent B&B. Service, rooms and breakfast, in fact everything was top notch. Jim and Denise are wonderful hosts. The room that I stayed in was spotless, spacious, warm and quiet, but the best thing about the rooms are the beds, they are soooo comfortable, long life the memory foam! Breakfast was fantastic, everything was absolutely tasty and filling, I'm not much of a full english person but I enjoyed it, the egg was cooked perfectly as I asked. The hotel is situated a stones throw away from the beach, and the town was within the walking distance. Free parking at the back of the hotel was great, no need to drive around to try and find a space. The Alendale is all you can ask for when staying at a B&B, everything is top notch. If I ever go to Weymouth again, I know where I will be staying.

I first stayed in the Alendale with my partner for one night, a night before a job interview with a company based in Weymouth. I got the job contract, and as a consequence stayed in the Alendale four nights a week, nearly every week for four months. Jim and Denise are the most gracious hosts and they run a superb guest house. During my time in Weymouth I also visited a number of other guest houses and hotels. In comparison to those, the Alendale holds no contest — it's by a long, long way better than any others Weymouth has to offer! The Alendale is lovely and clean, it offers spacious rooms, a delicious locally sourced and varied breakfast menu and best off all very welcoming hosts! I recommend it too all visitors to Weymouth who are looking for a place to stay — wether you're looking for a romantic get-away or for business, what-ever your reason, the Alendale will offer you a more than comfortable night's stay and a scrumptious breakfast!
