Brilliant hosts at the Torcroft. Nothing is too much. The room was amazing and very clean. Shame we couldn’t enjoy the balcony but the weather wasn’t good, February in England…! The espresso machine was a nice touch. We will definitely be rebooking soon for more stays 👍🏻

Very beautiful building and lovely decorations. Love the Honesty Bar. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We had an absolutely amazing time here. Checked in for four days. Very clean, friendly and extremely welcoming. Great location, only a short walk to the beach front. On a quiet street so away from the busy road.
Philip and Gary very welcoming and upgraded our room as shower was broken. Also had a complimentary Anniversary drink. We will definitely go back again and recommend to family and friends. 😀😀

The new owners are incredibly welcoming and I have had a wonderful visit. Their charming chef makes breakfast worth getting out of the comfortable beds for. My only issue is sharing how great it was, because they may not have space for me in future when it becomes super popular!

We have just had a mid week break at the Torcroft and it way exceeded our expectations. A short walk to the beach and shops, beautifully decorated clean bright rooms, lovely hosts Phil & Sharon who provided us with the most amazing breakfasts every day. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend Thank you for making our stay just perfect xx.

My wife and had a lovely time at the Torcroft. The room was very nice and clean, and the breakfast was great. Phil and Sharon were excellent hosts and I would recommend the Torcroft to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

A very relaxing place. Great hosts. Lovely rooms. Very sleepable beds. Breakfast a delight. Prosecco on the patio. Easy reach of seafront. Ticks all the boxes.

Phil and Sharon very welcoming, it was very comfortable and clean, no bad words to say.
They also ensured I had gluten free breakfast.

A really warm welcome on arrival, lovely rooms with beautiful high ceilings and a cozy bar. The only down side we could only stay one night. We would definitely recommend a stay and we hope to again.

Lovely friendly place. Warm welcome and cosy atmosphere. Nice rooms, clean and modern. Really good breakfast with a good choice and variety. Short walk to the front though quite hilly, but that's Torquay.

We stayed for two nights and don’t have a single bad word to say. Sharon and Phil were perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming — we were made to feel like nothing would be too much trouble. Our room was amazing (no. 3 with the balcony) — really spacious and so relaxing to sit on the balcony of an evening for a little drink and chat. Breakfast was delicious, the whole place was spotless and the pet cat is beautiful and so friendly! We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here to anyone! Thank you for making our mini holiday extra special.

Just been and stayed here for 3 nights and it was lovely. I celebrated my 21st birthday whilst in Torquay and I came downstairs for breakfast to a cake they had got for me. The service was great, the rooms were spacious and fresh and I would recommend for everyone to stay here whilst visiting Torquay!

We have just had 2 days in room 5 and had an absolutely wonderful stay. Phil and Sharon are perfect hosts and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Breakfast is fresh and delicious and we loved our room. Little touches like chocolates and radio in the room make it very special. Thank you we will be back! X.

The owners were extremely unfriendly verging on rude and they found it difficult to cook the breakfast as I liked… I don't like grey slimey mushrooms and I like my bacon crisp too that was too difficult or too much trouble … also my bathroom was absolutely filthy … would definitely not recommend the place.

Superb hotel, great locationj close to the town and seafron,. Plus being a perfect base to explore the many interesting places throughout South Devon. Beautiful Rooms and perfect service. Cannot reccomend strongly enough.

This was our second time to the Torcroft Hotel, we had the balcony room this time that was beautifully decorated, clean and with a lovely view. Facilities excellent with accessible Wi-Fi. Breakfast was very nice in pleasant friendly surroundings. Location very good with a 10 minute walk into Torquay. Would definately recommend and re-visit. Steve and Trudy from Ashtead, October 2012.
