Great location, friendly helpful staff, great room, excellent breakfast, highly recommend.

I booked this hotel to get ready for my wedding right from when I booked jo was so helpful on the day of checking in they let me check in early they were so friendly, breakfast was lovely we also enjoyed the pool. The morning of my wedding jo was so nice with letting all my bridesmaid and hairdressers ect join me she brang us breakfast to our room she made me feel so welcome all the staff went out of there way to make me feel welcome and for my wedding they did so much for me I have stayed here before and really do think it’s one of the best in Torquay thankyou for my bottle of Prosecco x.

Fantastic place. Friendly staff, bedroom was modern and well decorated, pool was just the right temp and the breakfast was amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely hotel that is very close to the beach and town centre. Staff friendly and very helpful. The bed was a 4ft ish bed which was a little small, as was the bathroom. The room itself was tastefully decorated and clean. Breakfast there is a wide choice, from fresh fruit to beautifully cooked breakfast. We would certainly stay here again.

Friendly welcoming staff, great breakfast & overall a lovely break. Very modern ensuite bathroom but bedroom could have done with some modernisation. That aside, I would highly recommend a stay here. Good value for money & a short walk to the beach/hub of Torquay activities.

What a lovely hotel! Stayed in a lovely spacious room which accommodated our 6 person family really well, and very understanding after a mix up with our booking caused by us! (2 adults, a 13, 5 and 2x2year olds). Friendly staff who don't hover which is always great when you have kids to sort, great breakfast and a beautiful pool area which would have been great if we were staying longer-i really wish we could have stayed much longer! Would definitely recommend to others and use again. Thanks Cimon! Xxx.

We recently stayed in the cimon hotel and found the room to be very clean and well layed out, suited our party size amazingly. Our three children (14, 6, 2) all loved the room and thier beds. The beds were very comfortable with nice clean bed linen.
The staff were all extremely happy and helpful. The hotel is well suited to families with young children as they had ample games/toys in the games room, as well as a pool table. The staff were also just very nice to have a chat about your day and offered help to find places. They even asked the kids if they enjoyed their days out.
The breakfasts were great, very tastey, even made just a sausage and bit of bacon for our 2 year old.
Overall a really pleasant stay which the whole family enjoyed, we didnt get to use the swimming pool due to the weather not being hot enough for kids to run around in swim wear, but we will defo be coming back and hope to try it out then.

The place is very clean, tidy and in a good location. The couple who own it are friendly and are keen to help you in any way. I would recommend this place all day long. It's miles better than any travel lodge or premiere inn.

After seeing you on four in a bed… I have never ever seen such a bald big fairy in all my life. I cant believe how upset you were with sugar pots being refilled? … Its not like people are licking them? … The NHS are mad about hygiene through fear of being sued, and its a practice that they undertake. It's not exactly rife with Ebola the UK is it? … You are a bald fairy… Embarrased yourself really pal…

Lovely, high ceilinged bedroom. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast. Plenty of parking. Quite convenient for the town centre and harbour. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Staying a few days in Torquay so trying the Cimon hotel. Great place, really nice fresh room. Very friendly staff would recommend this to folks staying in the area.

Booked the Cimon as part of our honeymoon, doing a motorcycle tour of Devon. Absolutely faultless accomodation and incredibly friendly, yet unobtrusive staff. Beautifully clean room with a classy four poster, couldn't be happier. Very reasonable rates, as well!

Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely done. Our room was a double but also had three extra pieces of furniture that could convert into a sofa bed. Breakfast was really good. Staff are very polite and friendly. Can't fault it whatsoever. It also had free fast Wi-Fi, free parking and an outdoor swimming pool which looked amazing with sun lounges around it. Enjoyed my stay and would certainly be returning.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in July 2017 after enjoying our previous stay in May 2015. Since returning the hotel was took on by sombody eles but wasnt quite sure who because they never introduced them selfs. The location of the hotel is good and breakfast is good with choice of hot and cold options, though stating in the book in the room it states summer hours breakfast was from 8.00am — 9.30am, however several times when we went down for breakfast the door was closed leading to the breakfast area until 8.30am? And we wasnt the only guest at the hotel waiting for breakfast. On my first morning of breakfast I was served a cold pot of tea because they did not boil the kettle but it was resovled after I told them. One of the reasons we came back to the hotel was the pool and how warm it was even on not so hot days. But it was frezzing even on a very warm day. We got told it was heated to 26c but I wasnt convinced. The hotel was a bit out dated and rooms was reasonable on cleanliness but did find some dust and bin without a bin liner in and dirty towels I put on the floor just hanged back up when room was cleaned. Though when request clean towels I did get them in the room. The people was friendly and poilte but it wasnt the same as when we came in 2015. It would of been nice for the people that worked there to indrouced them selfs as we saw 8 diffrent people that worked there in our stay and didht know who was the owner or if it was a family run business?

Love it! Amazing location, so close to town centre, we had a good welcoming by a very friendly young French girl. She also served us during our delicious breakfast. The premises were clean tidy, with refreshing style. All very neat. The price was the best. Really good value for money.

Stayed here with my partner and 2year old daughter in April. Lovely Hotel friendly welcome, the room was massive and can't be faulted. Nice big comfy bed and the breakfast was yummy. Lots of choice and staff where really friendly and they made sure you had everything you needed. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff and accommodation 5 star highly recommend it to anyone.
My daughter was sick in night and I asked for the bill for bedding etc they smiled and said accidents happen what more can I say.
Bo bill just 5 star service Once again stopped at this lovley hotel. The staff and accommodation are second to none.
The room recently decorated again and was immaculate as normal.
We stopped in the familey room I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is great. Only about a 5 minute walk from the docks and the beach. The guest house itself is nicely appointed and clean. The rooms come with a large bed, decent en-suite, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a large TV with free view. The booking comes with breakfast (either continental, full English or omlette) it's freshly made for you, and made with quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. There is a bar and patio outside overlooking an outside heated pool. There is plenty of parking with easy access. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the patchy Wi-Fi (which when works is free! ). We would stay here again when we revisit Torquay and would recommend it. The price shows good value for money considering the amenities and quality of the rooms.

We quite enjoyed it, the breakfast was good and the room was a upgrade at no extra cost. Ample parking. Friendly host and staff. Short walk down to the high street. No problem.

Just returned from 2 night stay, Adam, Anita and all staff friendly attentive and very helpful. Excellent breakfast great selection to choose from. Hopefully we will be back.

Schönes Hotel, gut gelegen mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Zu empfehlen, da die Besitzer auch Deutsch sprechen. Wir verbrachten hier drei sehr schöne Tage im September. :) ).

Had a weeks' holiday from the 4th May this year. Went with our son and 3 year old granddaughter. Made very welcome by Adam and Anita and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was very good and plentiful with the cooked breakfast and side buffet. They even moved us to a larger room as our granddaughter was spending a lot of time with us and Anita said we may like more space which was very nice. Little Amelia settled in quickly and was always made to feel welcome. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Torquay and hopefully we will be returning next year.

Definitely agree with the first comment stayed at this Hotel on a number of occasions over the years and always had first class service. Top class in every way. — highly recommended.

Top class in every way. — HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! From the moment that we arrived, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We felt relaxed straight away. Throughout the rest of the stay, they were always keen to help us in anyway that they could. The room was clean and well decorated. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room, along with a fridge and TV. The en-suite bathroom was clean and also well kitted out. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. There was a good selection from the buffet, as well as a cooked breakfast. The licensed bar is a great place to relax, whether drinknig or not. The pool and off-steet parking were two very important additions to our stay. Overall, our experience of this guesthouse was exceptional. As for value-for-money — I doubt I could beat it. highly recommended.
