Such a lovely welcome on arrival They knew it was my birthday and went over and above to ensure we had the beat weekend.

A very warm welcoming place. Spotlessly clean felt so safe here breakfast was amazing the service 1st class look no further if you are going to Torquay this is the place to stay.

Had a great time, lovely people, great hotel, nothing was to much bother, food was also great and facilities was good and very accommodating for my assistance dog.

Jamie an Yvonne are so friendly and welcoming from the time we arrived and from the time we left they looked after us. The room was so clean and spacious and had all the amenities that we need even a fan in this hot weather. The breakfast was brilliantly set out and well cooked by jamie and Yvonne looked after us superbly. We recommend the Edgcombe B&B 100% to any one that comes to Torquay as they make you feel welcome in your stay. Tim and karen Yeates 21 /23 july.

We stayed here 7/11 September 2020. From setting foot in reception to leaving Jamie & Yvonne could not have done more to make our stay anymore enjoyable. We had a lovely room with very nice quality linen and towels, spotlessly clean. Then we move on to breakfast great choice and cooked to perfection by Jamie, Yvonne makes sure things run smoothly front of house and people don’t go short of anything they need. We would just like to take this opportunity to wish you both all the success in the future, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Torquay. Michael & Lindsay Smith.

Spent two nights with Jamie and Yvonne really lovely couple, room was very clean and had everything that you needed, breakfast was cracking, bottle of proseco and birthday card was left in the room for the wife very thoughtful, would recommend this very highly to everyone and will do when back home, would definitely return if only for the breakfast 10/10

Yvonne and Jamie are the perfect hosts, they are so welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are so spacious and clean. We like the hotel and the hosts so much we have booked for next year. Excellent!

This B and B is excellent. Rooms are lovely. Jamie and Yvonne are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is amazing with fresh fruit cooked breakfast pan au chocolate cereals muffins fresh coffee and orange juice. Would highly recommend this B and B.

Warm welcome on arrival. Nice to have a parking bay for the car. Fabulous room, so clean and everything you need, including a fridge. Breakfast and evening meals cooked to perfection. Yvonne and Jamie perfect hosts. So friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble for them.

Everything! first experience there! catered for all my gluten free needs without the worry of cross contamination. Dave and Claire were welcoming and friendly. They left you too it and checked on you during the meals to make sure everything was good. Nobody felt like strangers for long. It felt like you knew them for years. Bed was comfy and the room was homey. We will definetly come back to this hotel! Thank you so much to you both for making mine and Cliff's few days away a memorable one :-)

Claire & Dave are brilliant hosts, made us feel welcome the minute we arrived. Hotel is spotlessly clean with a lovely clean smell throughout. Food was exceptional, anything you wanted you could have. Will definitely be returning. Wouldn't stay any where else in Torquay. Chris & Mick Swift.

What a lovely B&B, Claire & Dave, very, welcoming. Couldn’t do enough for you. Taking my suitcase, to our room. Excellent full English breakfast. Comfortable beds. For a great nights sleep. Nice, clean room. Lovely devour. Fantastic walk-in shower. Just a short walk to the see, front, a nice walk to the harbour. We stayed for long weekend. Would highly recommend, Mount Edgcombe.

Claire and Dave were brilliant hosts checked you in and showed you to your room and left you to your own devices. No hassle… Room and bathroom emaculate, couldn't fault them in any way. Keep up the good work both. Will be definitely be staying again as it's an adult only accomodation.

We stayed last week. Excellent B&B. Claire and Dave can't do enough for you. Made to feel very welcome. Lovely room, Jacuzzi bath and large walk in shower. Great breakfast and additional evening meal if required. On site parking.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean andm modern. Food was beautiful. Dave and Claire was very friendly would Defoe go back there. You couldn't ask for better money well spent.

Picked up at Torquay station by owner great hosts nothing is too much trouble rooms were spacious and immaculate enjoyed a smashing evening meal and the breakfast's were great too will defiantly stay here next time me & brother visit.

We booked a room for four days for our anniversary. The hotel is very near to the beech and town centre. The hotel crew is lovely. It is a family business and can't agree more that business runs in their blood. Very polite people and very accommodating. We always had big healthy breakfast on which we could survive for a whole day. Claire was very generous and amazing host. To add cherry on the top the wheather was fantastic. I loved my stay and next time would stay longer and next time will try the one with jacuzzi in.

Me and my husband just spent the night here for our 1st wedding anniversary. Very welcoming and claire was so friendly to us and made our stay amazing! The breakfast was fantastic. Fantastic hosts and fantastic people. Also being 6 months pregnant I was told If I needed anything to help then just to ask. Will deffo being staying here again when we next visit torquay.

Having just spent the night here with my partner starting our Christmas shopping I can't fault this hotel. The welcome was so friendly with tea or coffee and amazing homemade cake on arrival. The rooms were stunning and completely exceeded expectations with every detail considered. The breakfast was delicious.

I honestly can't think of what to say — I think the previous reviews say it all — you have to experience it yourself! Dave and Claire were superb hosts, so friendly and hospitable, the very warm welcome is unforgettable. Hot food was excellent! Would we stay there again? Absolutely! Would we recommend them? Absolutely!

Dave & Claire are fantastic hosts, breakfast is second to none, (hottest breakfast we've ever eaten) great nights sleep, we had room 8 which had a bath & shower. Which suited us both. Very clean & tidy, would Highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.
