Easily located and pleasantly surprised by our more than adequate room given what we paid. Reception and departure good. Good bar menu and selection of Cider — went for Ernie. Helpful Maddie is better than a trainee.

Plenty of parking. The staff is nice too. Yiu have to get the parking permit from the reception if you are using the parking. The rooms are spacious and clean. Little bit older though. All the basic amneties are provided.

Great views across a stream and playing fields. Very comfortable rooms, particularly the bed and pillows. Would return, happily.

The best western hotel is a great place to hold lots of gatherings, parties, Proms or weddings. The staff here are lovely and the hotel its self is very clean and beautiful. Great place to stay for a weekend as well. The meals here are also hold a very good standard.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! The exterior of this hotel is dated and tired however it in no way detracted from our pleasant overnight stay. Reception staff very friendly, breakfast staff very friendly and all smartly presented. Our room was huge. Huge bed, large corner desk, dressing table unit, table and two chairs and still ample room. The internal decor is quite dated also and the bathroom could do with being upgraded but everything worked, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast very nice and plentiful. Ambience very friendly and relaxing while at the same time very professional. No air con in the bedrooms. Just a desk fan. There was no airflow and it was a warm day but fortunately the windows opened so doing that and turning on the fan helped. It would cost a significant amount of money to upgrade the hotel but it is within easy walk of Tiverton centre and only a short distance from the M5, and think it would be a worthwhile investment. I would definitely stay here again.

Although the accommodation is a little dated the staff are very professional and the entire facility clean and tidy. I attended a wedding here and the provided food was amazing. I would recommend this place highly.

I have stayed here may times before and as usual there are many plus points. Large car park, quiet location, breakfast and evening meal offered a good choice of dishes and the food was of good quality. The room was an upgrade (done automatically before arrival) for being a select member, but no gift offered as a card holder. On this occasion the hotel was quite expensive, not appearing to offer to deals of free breakfast that many other BW hotels are doing at present. The was the emptiest I have ever seen the car park, which made the high price more surprising as it was booked only a few days before, or perhaps this was why.

Great location, but rooms looking old and tired. Attentive staff. Restaurant prices are steep, bar food is better value.

The hotel and staff in my opinion are top notch, you are made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable by all the staff who are courteous professional and very friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Good Value for Money, Very helpful Staff. We stayed with our dog and when we arrived at our room, there was a dog blanket and bowl with treats waiting in our room. The bed was comfortable and all the amenities were in good order and worked fine. My wife and I both agreed that this was very good value for money and a good place to stay as dog owners.

It's a Best Western Hotel. Looks a bit like the Crossroads Motel but the coffee is more expensive. Staff are helpful.

The bin in the bathroom was not emptied from the previous occupant. I was moved to a better room. In this new room the bath exit pipe had a leak and I experienced two puddles of water. All was resolved by the excellent head receptionist so in the end I had a very good stay Breakfast is excellent in quality, quantity and choice. The lounge bar provided excellent snacks and drinks. All staff are friendly and courteous Totally recommend the hotel for business — excellent internet and some rooms have a proper desk and adjustable desk chair Additionally, the hotel is well placed for a short stay and visit to the west Country.

Miserable staff exept the bar girl. Served me pork instead. Id requested Turkey. Couldn't be bothered to que for even further time to rectify as I had a child with me.

From the outside looks very dated but surprisingly good. Food and room was good. Comfortable and clean. Bar staff seemed slightly under knowledgeable, when asked if they had an IPA, they asked me "what does that mean sir? "

I love Best Western's. Generally they are quirky and different from the major chains and this is no different. Food was good in the restaurant (if a little expensive). Rooms are nice and the one I was in was spacious. Overall great experience.

Only visited for a meeting then had lunch. The staff seemed very friendly and help full. I was able to get a gluten free at lunch time.

Went he for some training. The facilities were good for the purpose. They've recently added iPad to register your vehicle in the car park. It would appear that they've also updated the toilets since last time I went. Always a good lunch with enough choice. Good coffee upon arrival.

Stay here a few times per year, it is clean and there is a good breakfast choice, however it is now a self serve with hot food, cereals etc stations; it was nicer in the past when you were waited on and had attentive, friendly service.

A handy hotel/motel to stop at when either visiting Tiverton or passing through a good sized restaurant and seated area by the bar, has conference suites and puts on special events.

Had the same thing. I got a £60 parking fine that took them 26 days to send me. I have appealed and heard nothing. I deliberate tactic to put the fine up to £100. Been using this hotel to meet clients for the past 20 years but will NEVER use again. It is NOT clearly marked. I was given a ticket but my client parked next to me was not. It is a scam and shameful practice and the hotel must endorse this practice so I will not use ever again and neither will my company.

WATCH OUT! — I DIDN'T WANT TO PUT ANY STARS — My elderly parents visited the Hotel on 22/5/2017. Upon checking in, they were asked by the Receptionist to input their car registration details into the screen on the desk, which they duly did. On the 22nd June they were issued with a parking ticket for £60. The hotel Director said that he sympathised, but could not do anything except support an Appeal (this is his Hotel for goodness sake! ). When asked to see their CCTV for that day, it is only kept for 28 days — conveniently. Appeal has now been declined and they must £100! is this not Extortion?

Friendly staff and made to feel welcome. I can't comment on overnight stays as I only attended an event here.

Recently stayed during Half Term. We had taken our dog and they could not do enough, we had a designated pet room on the ground floor which was very clean and just like all the other bedrooms. Breakfast was excellent. My only small criticism was in regard to the evening meal experience. Tables were beautifully laid, candle lit on table, food excellent, but there was no atmosphere due I think to all the bright lights on. Also the food service was very quick, we were in and out within half an hour which I think spoiled it and we did not repeat dining for that reason. We will be back as it is excellent value for money and great location.

I had a voucher to use from buyagift for two nights and asked for availability on 7th and 8th august, they said it was available, then when I said I would like to use a voucher, they said I wasn't allowed to use it, even though it clearly states on the website 'Bookings at this hotel may be made for stays week round throughout the year. '.

Was here for the Sunday carvery and catching up with family, the food was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to them all.

Smart hotel with efficient and friendly service.

We stayed for two days in march 2008 and were absolutely satisfied. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well equipped. Ask for rooms in the 'executive' wing. The restaurant serves food of avarage quality. Nice atmophere. Probabely the best stay you will find in this region.
