Close to beach and shops as well as free parking.

Quiet, very clean, lovely hosts and a great choice for breakfast. Very thought full little extras in the room.

Carol and dave are great hosts very helpful, nothing is too much trouble they welcome everyone with open arms I really enjoyed my week staying with them last week. See you next year. Sam langston.

Carol and Dave were perfect hosts from the welcome they provided to the farewell. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated with lovely little touches included, meaning everything you needed was catered for and then some. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection to choose from and again Carol and Dave go the extra mile to ensure all guests are happy and well fed. Then there's the beautiful secluded garden to sit and relax in. Just a brilliant place to stay, I highly recommend!

You really could not wish for anywhere better top quality service amazing clean rooms friendly atmosphere great breakfast. Carole and Dave give a fantastic welcome always smiling. In fact it’s very hard to leave as they make you feel. So welcome and nothing is to much for them. 10out of 10 in everything.

Have spent 5 nights here with my wife. Carol and Dave was faultless and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was superb every morning and the rooms are very nice and clean. Overall excellent so a BIG thank you to both of you from us x.

Honestly I've had the best experience here at belle dene. I have come down to stay for work, a number of times and enjoyed my stay every time. Carol and Dave have been absolutely amazing. Rooms are perfect breakfast is amazing.

We just got back from 3 nights at the Belle Dene it was my wife's birthday and our anniversary. We've had the most loveliest time away thanks to Carol and Dave. From our welcome with a cup of tea and homemade cake to our final brekkie this morning. Everything in between was perfect. Great room comfy bed perfect location… looking forward to next year! Thanks again Carol and Dave.

We have now been to Belle Dene 6 times in 2 years! We would not stay anywhere else as we do not feel we could beat the hospitality and comforts which Belle Dene has to offer. There is a sign on the door that says you come as guests and leave as friends and I have to say that is true and that we count Carol and Dave as friends! When you arrive you are greeted with a warm welcome and hot drink and home made fruit cake which is very welcome. Out of the 6 rooms we have now stayed in 3 of them numbers 1, 5, 6 with 6 being the one most stayed in. Our recent stay in room 1 was lovely and on out 1st night we slept for 10 hours! The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated with a selection of Tea, Fruit Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate as well as bottled water. The bathroom has complementary shower gel, moisturiser and shampoo and I have to say they smell lovely and I use them every time I stay! Breakfast is out of the world with fresh juice and fruit, yogurt, range of cereal and homemade jams and marmalade. Hot food is cooked to order with all diets catered for! There is a specials board which offers what I call a pamper meal! The bacon and sausage is locally produced meat as well as the eggs, Dave makes a delicious potato cake to go with the cooked breakfast and Carol makes bread, all in all it is a treat! You will not be disappointed with a stay here as Carol and Dave will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable.

Brilliant guest house. Dave and Carol are lovely people, very welcoming and informative about the area. Welcomed with tea and homemade cake to eat in the lovely sunny garden.

Have just returned from a stay at Belle Dene Guesthouse, had never been before but were made very welcome by Carol and Dave and it really felt like home from home immediately, we had a great en suite room and the breakfast's were outstanding, fruit, cereals, fantastic full english, plus specials and all tastes catered for. Unlike many advertisements for rooms this was exactly as stated on their web site, free parking and just a couple of minutes from beach and promenade. Would give it five stars plus and will definitely be returning. Thank you both Maureen & Steve.

Amazing place to stay, room spotless and homely, breakfast was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, for Carol and dave would highly recommend as a great place to stay x.

Belle Dene is a lovely place, our room was comfy with everything we needed and the hosts are warm welcoming people. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back.

My third visit to an excellent guest house — in fact the best B&B I have been to in a very long time. The hosts, Carol and Dave are so warm and welcoming it feels as if you are visiting family. The breakfasts are really superb and the daily special is always lovely, with home made bread and fresh fruit salad as well as all the usual things makes it better than most of the top hotels. The rooms are always clean and very comfortable. You can't do better than stay here and make it your base for a holiday in Devon. There are so many beautiful places to visit and many National Trust properties in the area too. Will definitely be back. Well done Carol and Dave for making such a success of this.

It does not get any better than this. What a lovely couple are Dave and Carol nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast fantastic with home baked bread wow! watch diet. Very convenient for beach and shops. Will visit again for sure. Must be best value in Devon.

Not just best in Paignton, but best in Devon. The rooms are lovely — bright and so comfortable, with very comfortable beds and lovely soft bed linen, and everything is spotless. The breakfasts are legendary with plenty of choice, and a daily special. Everything cooked to perfection. The warm and friendly welcome you get here will make you want to stay longer and will definitely make you want to return time and time again. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

It was our first time at the Belle Dene and we were more than happy with the level of service. The place was clean and well presented the room didn't disappoint either what surprised me was the cost considering the prime location it was well priced Dave and Carol were great hosts who I think put people first before money I will stay here again … before I forget great breakfast Dave.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Belle Dene guesthouse and we couldn't of asked for a better place to stay, Dave and Carol gave us such a warm welcome whilst we stayed there and they couldn't do enough for you, Dave's cooked breakfast including homemade fresh bread was out of this world and really set you up for the day, also lots of other choices as well from cereal to bagels. The rooms were spotless and had everything in them that you need they work so hard to make your stay enjoyable I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Paignton, a perfect guest house with no faults.

Just back from a 2 night stay at Belle Dene. Dave and Carol were really thrown in the deep end as they had just taken over. Just keep doing what your doing, fantastic welcome with nothing too much trouble. Room was a little on the small side but well appointed and spotless. Have stayed down garfield road in a couple of places but this is far superior to any other.
