We recently had our wedding at YurtCamp and can't recommend it highly enough. So many lovely comments from guests remarking how beautiful and different a venue it is, allowing us to extend the wedding celebrations all weekend long. We loved the fact that we could really personalise the already stunning grounds, and it really did look amazing in pictures and real life. Thank you for an amazing weekend, we have already had requests to organise a weekend long anniversary party or renewal of vows for our guests to come back and enjoy it all over again! Thank you! We attended a fabulous wedding here recently, loads to keep the kids entertained and great food, love it.

Wow I mean Wow … this place is fantastic and the owner Dave is a star never stopped running all the time we were there doing this foing that the guy works hard to keep that camp clean and running good… despite this he never bothered us once… you've got a log burner logs whenever you want an outside firepit … lovely comfortable beds and the forest surrounding was beautiful and Dave has built an Adventure wonderland into it as your going through you find Zip wires, tunnels, ladders, poles absolutely amazing for kids … I mean this miserable interet X box generation of kids may not get it but the place is truly magical … theres some goats there… One long haired one called Bill loved my kids everytime they called him he'd come charging up for a stroke… Nah this is one of the best holidays I've ever had period the only thing negative I can think of was that pancake house… very bad food and the owner was slagging dave off because he had to close some days or something… I just thought after I'd ate that expensive but disgusting food he was lucky to even be allowed a food place in such a magical place… I would love to come again and would reccomend this all day long if you want a magical escape to the forest but still want your comforts of your bed etc this is the place… Loved it.

Rating this a 4 stars for the fact my kids absolutely loved it here. Really great idea in a small setting that was safe for the kids to go running around playing. On arrival we went to reception and found a sign to ring the owner David. Straight away I noticed all the dead flys on the window sill. David arrived was very friendly and welcoming and took us to our woodland yurt. The kids were very excited. But I just couldn't help notice how dirty it was. And the smell of damp was quite strong. Now I understand that this is basically camping in the woods so wouldn't expect it to be immaculate by any means. But it is advertised as glamping and pay the prices of glamping so would of expected it to be cleaner. This yurt definatly hadn't had a good clean in a long while. All around the edges was thick dirt and dust and the roof covered in cobwebs. Which I couldn't brush off whilst beds were made. Apart from that we enjoyed our yurt but would next time opt for a village one in hope of a better light. The main concern of cleanliness was the shower and toilet block. It was very very dirty. And have stayed at camp sites with much cleaner facility's. This I feel is where it was let down massively. Although whilst we were there the toilets were shut off twice for cleaning I really wasn't sure what had been cleaned at all because it was still very dirty. Professional cleaning is certainly required. I think it's a great shame that these things let it down this site has great potential.

Fantastic spot for a nature-based getaway. They have thought about just about everything, with ice packs, cool boxes, logs etc. All made available for a proper camping trip with somewhere a bit cosier to sleep!

Such a magical place! Loved it! Our toddler had a ball too. The pancake house is fab. Felt like we were alone in our woodland yurt even though there are 30 odd other yurts there. Our girl loved the playground too.

Camping in a yurt, fantastic idea. Good walking area. Play area for children. The Woodland Cafe and Pancake House for Breakfast, tea/coffee amazing pancake fillings main course and sweet pancakes. Try the Lumberjack breakfast.

So good to go to a place where the children can run and play safely, with a cheerful family friendly cafe to pop in and out of at will. Chilled out parents, happy kids, absolute weekend bliss!

Stayed here for the second time, first for Hen Party same time last year. We enjoyed it so much that we all came back as a 'Hen Anniversary'. We will be booking again next year. David was really helpful and it was all nice and relaxed. He even helped push our barrows. The yurts are fab, well equipped and keeping the fire going is fun. Assault Course is always a laugh. Shame there were other people there the same weekend who weren't very respectful leaving all their washing up in the sink when they left and making the toilets a mess. Shame on them.

Stayed for the weekend at a friend's wedding. Had a fantastic time, ideal venue for such an event.

The Yurt Camp is one of my favourite places to play — they offer a truly unique, authentic and personal experience for anyone looking for something a little off the beaten track… The setting is beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, and the Giant Tipi, the beautiful Yurts, and fabulous catering from the Woodland Cafe always get my vote!

The Yurtcamp is the most magical place. Our son and daughter in law got married there last year. It is pretty much a blank canvas but there so many lovely areas to decorate it looked absolutely beautiful when finished. The whole day and evening was amazing. I would definitely recommend it as a venue.

It was a fantastic, alternative setting for a summer wedding. Great fun in the Yurts and a beautiful location. One small point about the management… after booking 50+ people in Yurts for 2 nights, at £60 per person per night, which included breakfast, they refused to allow guest a second cup of tea or coffee at breakfast. Only one tiny cup is allocated with each breakfast voucher and they charged '£2.50' for dribble of refill. "Hello!? We've just given you £6, 000 of business… is a bit more tea for the guests too much to ask. It would cost nothing, but it was mainly their attitude about the matter that stank. Plain refusal. Shame that they totally let themselves down here on the smaller stuff. Nice place though…

My sister got married here June 3rd, we had the yurt camp from Friday to Sunday. The venue was amazing. Staff were polite and friendly. The food was great. Cannot recommend enough.
