This is our second stay here and we just love it. Victorian decor and style, and yummy homemade jams and compote. You are made to feel welcome on arrival and shown to your room, all covid measurements are in place.
The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable and the beds are sooooo comfortable.
Breakfast is all fresh produce and a selection of homemade jams.
I recommend the bacon on french toast with maple syrup. With a large cafeteria of coffee. I wish we could afford to stay here longer. But we will be back next year.

Just got back from a wonderful few days in this charming B&B, Simon kindly sent me his home made granola recipe which I just had to attempt to make.
Absolutely recommend this place to stay if you are down this way.

Beautifully presented rooms, excellent food, lovely owners. Simon and Libby made us feel very welcome in their beautiful, and spotlessly clean, B&B. Gorgeous decor and attention to detail in every room. Equipped with everything you need and with the most comfortable bed and lovely ensuite. Breakfast was absolutely delicious on both mornings. Owners were very helpful with local information, taxis, places to eat etc. An all round lovely experience that made our weekend. Highly recommended.

A simply excellent service provided by two excellent people — Simon & Libby will welcome you with a warm, genuine reception made all the more real by tea or coffee with cake on arrival. There are a wide range of breakfast meals available — all made to the highest standard — needless to say I thoroughly recommend Swan Hill House.

Probably the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful. The room nicely turned out. Good quality tea, coffee ect in the room, plus other complimentary goodies. A great breakfast menu of local produce. And very welcoming and helpful hosts. In my opinion first class.

Beautiful bed and breakfast. We've stayed with Simon and Libby several times over the last 10 years. … the only b and b we've been to more than once! The rooms are so stylish and comfortable. The welcome is always friendly with coffee and freshly made cake on arrival. If you're a foodie Simon has great recommdations for restaurants. Both Simon and Libby are lovely, perfect hosts. Breakfast is first class with fantastic specials every day. I can't recommend this place enough. Faultless :)

Outstanding B&B! The owners Simon and Libby are lovely hosts. The rooms are all very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts are always outstanding and delicious. Highly recommended, *the* place to stay in East Devon.

We have stayed here many times 5 star is not enough! Simon and Libby are fantastic hosts and Simon is a brilliant chef. Wish I had a date booked in. We will be back though. Kate and family x.
