We attempted to stop here for a drink with our son. We were stopped at the door by an incredibly hostile and down right rude barman demanding to see our mask exempt badges (not a legal requirement). The fact that neither of us had phones with the NHS app installed seemed to be the final straw for him. He flatly refused entry to us and would not take our details with pen and paper. Incredibly rude and hostile, not mentioning discriminatory. Wouldn’t bother again. Far nicer friendlier pubs in Dartmouth.

Friendly local pub with good choice of beer.

Lovely Clean place and had a relaxing few hours away from the crowd. What very polite welcoming staff The locals really friendly too and I went with with a teenager.

We had our Christmas staff meal here. It was amazing food and great value. They catered for all our needs. Was a lovely evening topped by a live band. What more could you ask for! thanks Chris and Claire!

Went for a birthday dinner we had the burger, spaghetti boll, chilli, steak pie and 2 vegetarian meals. All the food was piping hot and plenty of it. All the meals were served with dressed side salad.
Top quality food reasonably priced. Thank you.

The seale arms is a great pub for families with live music no the weekends and open mic and jam session on a Wednesday. Both me and my son love the atmosphere and music.
kris and Claire are absolutely a great couple and doing a grand job.

It has the perfect fit of community and love a place you can relax, play an instrument, sleep in a gorgeous room and enjoy a meal that is truly delicious! After 2 months of living here they have created a brilliant environment Hats off to them!

Seated and fed 10 of us, good service, great food, well priced. Friendly and relaxed.

Great if you like a quiet drink in the day but can get lively in the evening kids welcome till 8-9pm.

Stay away from this place or you get falsly accused from buing drinks to underage teens…

The B&B is above a grim and noisy pub. The common areas of the B&B are worn out and old. The room is badly kept, the wall paper is detaching from the wall and there is mould in the shower. The carpet is smelly and raggedy. Terrible experience. Unacceptable standards.

Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

A great locals pub with decent beers and great landlord. A short walk from the river and bus stops. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Had a blinder of a time in the Seale Arms with friends! Love the fact its open mic night on a Wednesday and Karaoke on a Friday! All staff really friendly especially the 'ginger ninja' and manager John! Deffo will be returning for a sing song sometime! X.

Great service, friendly bar staff, always welcoming. The rugby was on the Tele and the fire going, everything you need after a cold afternoon out in the elements. Drinks are fairly priced.

Great pub brilliant owners.

They have the best staff here. We went to a wedding and forgot our key. They came down at silly o'clock in the morning and let us in with no fuss or bother. The room was clean and very reasonable and the cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing.

Really friendly staff. It is where rugby teams go after playing Dartmouth RFC. Good drink selection, darts and pool. Great little pub.

Great Pub In The Heart Dartmouth. Good Price, Good Customer Service. It is worth the walk from the front to get to the Searle Arms. A no nonsense old fashioned pub. Cheap bear, cheap food and a great governor. Free fast Wifi and seating outside.

The staff were accommodating and friendly. Rooms were clean.

Bed was appalling, the shower had low pressure and leaked all over the bathroom floor also it didn't drain away effectively from the shower tray, the breakfast room smelled of chip fat, the breakfast itself was all deep fried and the pub is noisy and dark.

Great pub we'll run all welcome, pool table and darts available.

Great atmosphere in the bar, had a real laugh and great bar staff.

Relaxed, calm atmosphere and not usually busy with a quiz machine and a pool table so you're never bored.

Stayed for 3 night, good rooms, lovely breakfast, great staff, can't do enough for u! Nice friendly atmosphere in evening to! Will be staying again x.

Seale arms is one of those places that even though it's no different to any other pubs, it still gives the freedom and relaxation annnddd also to enjoy throughout the day to midnight with great vibes and fantastic staffs as well as the regulars in there :-) … Looking forward to being down there again when the summer arrive wooooo.
