Moorhead Country Holidays Apartment

Just home from a lovely week staying in Primrose cottage. Exceptionally clean accommodation in a great setting with lots to occupy the children and adults. We made good use of the pool and fun pitch and putt golf. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Lovely meal in their on site restaurant on our final evening too. We hope to return with wider family in the future. Sue.

The host family are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. There is a lovely small bar and restaurant should you want to stay local of an evening. The facilities are great for families and couples. The surrounding coastline is great for exploring and walks. We’ve returned 3 times and no doubt will return again soon.

Beautiful views of the countryside, great amenities, owners working really hard to keep everything covid friendly! Pool clean and hot tub warm!

Nice and lovely place for everything.

Friendly family run business, clean and well maintained rooms. Good swimming pool, games room. Pitch and put golf course, well stocked fishing lake for staying guests only. Bar area and we'll run restaurant.

Just had 7 days here and enjoyed every moment. The owners are terrific and nothing is too much trouble, will be going again soon. Fantastic facilities and a huge renovation being undertaken. Highly recommended by us all.

It was the ideal place for a base for our walking holiday. A very peaceful place. We stayed in chestnuts lovely views. We used the Restaurant in the evening which had a varied menu and the food was good.

We have visited Moorhead farm regularly over the past 5 years its is a lovely place and very friendly. The apartments are well kept and clean. The fishing as amazing as the lake is not over fished and are wild.

Apsoloutly loved it! the fellow holiday guests are so friendly and welcoming as well as the staff, I didn't want to leave, I wanted to stay longer the pool was nice and the hot tub was luxurious the only thing is it's on the middle of nowhere so it's a good drive to get anywhere but its worth it because the views are lovely from the balcony and also the animals are so friendly (Horse, Paddy and cat, Ollie) thank you for a lovely time Karen & Steve ♡♡

Had such a fantastic weekend, really gutted to be back home. This place was amazing, the room was cosy and had literally everything we needed. The pool was lovely and warm, the hot tub was so relaxing, amazing gym, incredible views, but best of all (on dan's behalf) a cracking fishing lake. It's been nothing more than perfect will definitely be back next year… or maybe sooner thank you so much for such a wonderful little break xxx.

A brilliant place with everything you need in one place. The local village store is as good as any small supermarket — really won't bother with a Tesco delivery when we stay next time in Feb 17. Restaurant food is delicious but we could only manage the child portions. Can't recommend Moorhead enough!
