My favourite ever youth hostel and campsite. Staff were lovely and very helpful, beautiful views and excellent facilities.
Stayed in a Teepee tent it had rained a bit and the bedding did feel damp due to the cold/wet air. Fire burner in the teepee was great and warmed the air, toilet and showers were clean. Facilities were good including communal areas, food for breakfast and evening meal was great and staff were friendly. Family in the tent next door were loud into the late hours but that's what you get with camping.
Stayed twice and both times ended up trying to book an extra night. Great rooms, pleasant staff. Both youth hostel and campsite are great. Self catering kitchen, cooker, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, n a drying room. Showers. Most amazing views of windermere from campsite and veranda. Cant wait to visit again.
