Good Location Bus stops nearby. Plentiful continental breakfast only due to covid. Big size bedroom and bathroom. Would highly recommend.

This is a fantastic guest house, positioned well and run by two wonderful people. You will most definitely have a wonderful stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Invergarry. A very welcome break after the challenging last few months. Perfect very comfortable accommodation for resting & relaxing & great location between Windermere & Bowness. Many lovely walks from the property & safe parking outside. Really liked the very plentiful breakfast baskets, lots of very tasty treats. And homemade cakes for each room every day are a delight.

We have just returned from our stay here. Can not fault it. Perfect 10. The owners had everything sorted to make sure all their guests were safe during this pandemic. The room was spotless. A personalised letter to apologise for not being able to greet us in their usual way due to Covid. Fresh ginger cake in our room on arrival. The most amazing continental breakfast each morning.
We did meet the owners on leaving and they were so friendly. We would highly recommend this Guest house to anyone xxx Thank you.

Me and mate stayed here for 3 nights (10th-13th August). Can not fault anything about our stay. The room and bathroom both clean and quite spacious. And the bed. All can say is WOW. So comfortable, it felt like the mattress/duvet was hugging you, which is just what was needed after exploring/walking/climbing. The daily slices of home made cake was lovely and a very nice touch. We only had breakfast once as we're early birds and was out exploring by 7am most mornings, but a good selection and throughly enjoyed. Wi-Fi is fast and stable. Location is just right. Not far to walk to Windermere Lake and surrounding areas. Plenty of parking. Steve was friendly and offered advice (which helped! ) about one of our adventures. We only saw Vicky at breakfast and in passing, but she was also friendly and polite. Both obviously work hard behind the scenes to ensure their guests are comfortable. I highly recommend this little gem.

Perfect stay at Invergarry guest house… have previously stayed in very expensive boutiques in Windermere but this is the one that I will return to. Excellent value, perfect location, great hosts and a fantastic room, need not ask for more.

We stayed in the small room downstairs for two nights. We were greeted by Steve on arrival who was very friendly and was able to answer any questions we had. The room was very clean and cosy and the homemade cake was a nice touch. Lake windermere is only a quick 10min walk away from the guesthouse. Would defiantly recommend staying here.

Fantastic Guest House. Immaculate inside, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the maple syrup to Pancakes best we've ever had. Delicious… Lovely couple. Friendly, chatty, care about their customers. They even left us a card and chocolates in the room for a birthday. Excellent.

What a lovely bed and breakfast that is perfectly situated between Bowness and Windermere a mere 10 minute walk to either.
The rooms are 1st class spacious and clean and suitably decoreated. Both Steve and Vicky are excellent hosts and cannot do enough for their guests and go above and beyond to make your stay unique and special.
The breakfasts are phenomenal and are cooked fresh to order with all the condiments and trimmings for all requirements especially there home made bread and jams. This guesthouse is a credit to them both and I would recommend it to anybody.

Fantastic b&b. Perfect location, 10 minute walk into windermere and bowness. So within walking distance of places to eat and drink. Room was spotless. Bed was super comfortable. Facilities great. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also great, just what you need to set yourself
Up for the day, and a brilliant choice of options to choose from. Victoria is fab with her home made breads and jams. Don’t know how she manages to cook all those different options to order but she does a grand job! And still finds time to say hello. Also the cakes in the room was a lovely touch as I have a terrible sweet tooth! Steve also fab, witnessed him helping other guests with recommended walks etc. Lovely couple who have something special here. Basically a brilliant stay all round, would return here without a seconds hesitation. Thanks again x.

Enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay here, very friendly and welcoming hosts. The room was very well kept and comfortable. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious! The house is very well located, a short walk to the lake or town. Definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy guest house with friendly hosts:) breakfast is super nice with yuzu spread! The only thing is the shower water is quite weak.

Our first time staying in a B&B and it didn’t disappoint! We loved it and Steve and Vicky were absolutely amazing. The breakfast was delicious with so much choice and the room was immaculate. 10 minute walk from Bowness with lots to explore. We will definitely be back, can’t thank you enough!

Room was OK nice and clean but the shower was tiny couldn't bend down.

An absolutely fantastic place, attention to detail was spot on. I had balloons chocolates and a card in the room when I arrived for my birthday.
The room was so cosy clean and just wonderful and so quiet, we had a lovely views from our amazing large window.
Their was a large selection to choose from off the menu for breakfast, we choose the Cymbrian breakfast which was so tasty.
We would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The host Vicky and Steve were fabulous you will never want for anything.

A define home from home with lots of little extras. Fantastic hosts who will do anything to meet your specific needs.

Lovely guest house, the hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating, I'm staying for my 40th birthday and they made me a cake! Plus, they decorated our room and left a card and some prosecco. Extremely thoughtful and generous. We stayed in the garden room, which is a little self contained sweet detached from the back of the house. We kept our bikes in the porch, and breakfast is served in your own private dining room. Very nice and I would heartily recommend it.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, the nicest hosts, the little details in the room with everything you need and more, the best service, not to mention fantastic food, homemade bread, cakes and jams are to die for. Large choice of breakfast options included in the price with nice fresh coffee and refreshing orange juice.
This is the place to book for a Windermere break, without a doubt I will be coming back and I highly recommend it to anybody, don't look anywhere else as this is the best place! :) xx.

Stayed here with friends for four nights in July 2017. Steve and Vicky are great hosts who made us feel very welcome and who know and clearly love the Lake District. Fabulous breakfasts, home made cake every day and good clean well kept and furnished rooms. Free Wi-Fi that works. Nice location between Bowness and Windermere both within easy walking distance for evening meals. Ample on street parking. Very reasonably priced (Book direct with them rather than through booking apps).

Just spend two days at Invergarry, fabulous place. We booked the Garden Room and it was all and more… loved it. Hosts were lovely. Breakfast delivered to our conservatory was delicious. Will book again.

Situated about half way between Windermere Town and Bowness-on-Windermere and just a ten minute walk to both, the location is great. There are five rooms and just enough room to accommodate us all for breakfast. Our room is well presented with a nice enough view, and there are several nice touches including home made cake in the room every morning, picnics and breakfast in bed available on request, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. There's a good selection for breakfast each morning including pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausages and muffins.

Just got back from Steve and Vicky's guest house what a lovely couple they are couldn't do enough for you. Would recommend this wonderful guest house to anyone wanting to stay in Windermere. We are going back next year! Marilyn & Gary :-)

A very comfortable stay. Room was very tidy and had plenty of room. Upon arrival Steve and Vicky made us feel very much at home. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous, we had the Cumbrian Grill. DELICIOUS! Would we stay here again? Absolutely.
