Again a fantastic meal as always. First class every time. Food. Staff. All faultless x.

Had a lovely family get together, delicious food, brilliant staff and even got a family photo taken on the beautiful staircase, a huge thank you to Malcolm and staff x.

Just got home from another fantastic time at the Greenhill hotel spent 4 nights here and attended the Christmas party night so organised and the food is amazing would highly recommend it the hotel is full of lovely staff so friendly and they work so hard and nothing is too much trouble thank you to Wayne his team cant wait to go back again hopefully in Feb xx.

Had our wedding here on Thursday and I have to say amazing! Every single staff member were brill from start to finish especially Malcolm nothing was to much trouble it was perfect gorgeous venue we had a brill day and can not thank you all enough thank you so much The new Mr & Mrs Loy xx.

Lovely hotel, very friendly… excect didn't want us to go out at night lol… I joke! the night porter was very polite, although he didn't want us to let the hotel cat in… poor thing, you should have seen the size of it, puma springs to mind… obviously very well fed and looked after… thank you for a fab stay. We will be back… this was our 2nd stay ❤x.

We had our wedding on the 17th July at the Greenhill. I cannot recommend them enough if you are planning a wedding, you must go and view!
The rooms are gorgeous and there is plenty allowing several guests to stay.
The food was amazing, we didn’t have one guest complain about anything! Everything was piping hot considering they had so many of us to serve so quickly!
The grounds make for amazing photos.
Wayne, Kaye, Malcolm and the staff could not have been more amazing, nothing was trouble at all.
Us and our guests had the most fabulous day.
We cannot thank them enough!
We will definitely be back (not for a wedding though! )

Sunday Lunch was beautiful. Good choice of food served by friendly welcoming staff, with safety in mind — we felt very safe. Hopefully we’ll be back shortly with friends after this Covid has disappeared. Well done Greenhill.

Our second visit for food after a local recommendation earlier this week. The staff and owner are very friendly and the service excellent. The food was second to none and plenty of it. We will definitely visit here again when we come up this area again and who knows we may even stop in the hotel next time

Where do I start on such an amazing weekend we had our wedding day here on Saturday, the hotel is so lovely and the function room is beautiful, we had our ceremony and night do here the food was really nice and the staff could not of been any more helpful if they tried, also if it wasnt for malcolm it would not of been the same hes just a credit to the place I just want to say a massive thankyou also to the owners as they just made the day looking after everyone and making sure we were ok I just want to do the day all over again we couldnt reccomend the hotel enough x.

My family and I have just left after having a lovely Father's Day lunch. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the venue beautiful. Who could ask for more?

We have just enjoyed a great weekend break at the Greenhill Hotel. The place and staff were warm and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble, the food was excellent. Many thanks keep up the great work.

Had afternoon tea today at the Green hill Hotel with seven friends. The service was really good and the afternoon tea delicious. Great value for money compared to some other local venues. The crumpets with cheese were a revelation! Won't need supper tonight.

We have just had the honour of being the 2nd people to use the newly refurbished room for our sons christening! It looks amazing and the food was delicious. They even supplied the sunshine to enjoy on the outside seats! Thank you! Definitely recommend for all occasions xx.

Great old country hotel. Beautiful lawns and easy parking. Easy excess to the Lake District and surrounding villages. Owner and his family very friendly and helpful Quiet place and big rooms in old world style. Our breakfast was included, also a good evening meal shared with friends in a unique environment. Uou will not be disappointed.

Called in for lunch on a return visit to Carlisle and found both food and service to be very good. Will definitely visit again.

I came to attend the wake of my uncle today The buffet spread looked amazing thou being cecilac I couldn’t eat any of this, I asked a member of staff if they had any gluten free bread /rolls etc. There service was exceptional, shortly after My request I was presented with a plate of gluten free rolls which had a selection of fillings, a small salad & I had a pudding.
Thank you so much. I will definitely be returning to this part of the country again when visiting family soon & will return again.

Great stay, with very friendly staff and a nicely presented reception/bar/restaurant area. Dinner was fantastic with generous portions. Minor criticism is that the room decoration was fairly dated but did not affect our stay.

Me and my husband have just had a fantastic stay this weekend. Staff all friendly and extremely helpful. Food was just amazing you certainly don't go hungry. Definitely coming back again. Amazing.

We have just had two lovely nights at the Greenhill Hotel, can't say how much we have had a great time, the staff are amazing, even though it was really busy they had time to chat and make you feel very welcome, and the meals are fantastic too, they could cut down on the portions and probably make more profit, but they say that nobody leaves hungry, that says it all for me, make sure your guests are happy and they will come back and recommend you to friends, thanks again to all the staff, we will see you again definitely.
