Thank you Gary and Emily for a fabulous stay in the Hayloft cottage. Our accommodation was immaculate! A great location for visiting the lakes or Carlisle.

We spent New Year at Green View lodge after spending a while finding somewhere we could stay with our dogs. All I can say is “wow… amazing…! ” the best new year we could have hoped for. The lodge was perfect, the area is so quiet and tranquil and the whole experience was just so easy. Thank you so so much xx.

Spent New Year here and had the most amazing time. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed and more! Beautiful setting, very clean grounds and great area for letting the dogs stretch their legs. Highly recommended!

Emily & Gary just can’t do enough. Beautiful surroundings. Cabins are clean an spacious. Arrived to freshly baked cake and fresh milk in the fridge. Easy to get to anywhere in the Lake District.

Every thing is absolutely fantastic we have just had a lovely weekend break with our 2 blenheim cavalier boys which were very well behaved and they loved the grassed paddock area for running around in and also my fiance did alot of recall training with them. The owner Emily is the nices lady and fantastic hostess and provides you with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We stayed in the hay loft which was perfect as it had a enclosed area at the back for our dogs. There are plenty of quiet places to go for walks and if you want to go off exploring the area its packed with places to visit. Thank you Emily and Gary we will definitely be returning very soon and definitely with the boys.

Lovely place. Very peaceful. The owners are lovely people and make you feel so welcome definitely will go back again.

Just home from green view lodges and what a fab time we had (5 girls. Girl weekend). The lodges were very clean and well kept and they were filled with everything we needed to enjoy our stay very home from home … we were greeted with fresh milk in the fridge and homemade lemon drizzle cake which was lovely… and the added bonus of use of the hot tub / steamroom and a fire pit outside our lodge. Which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

Stunning scenery… easy to get too from M6 but feel your miles away from anywhere. The hay loft is cosy and great value.

Fantastic accommodation! To be honest, the pictures do not do these lodges justice! Comfortable home away from home. Hot tub awesome, location perfect, facilities flawless. The little added bonus of milk and freshly baked cake was spot on too.

Amazing weekend for the parents in law wedding renewals. We had 2 lodges and the cottage. I stopped in the cottage with my partner and it was beautiful such a lovely little place to stop and the welcome cake and milk was a lovely touch! The lodges were perfect aswell with everything you could ask for. Overall an amazing time! Thank you.

Love being here freindly lovely getaway for peice and quiet cabins are cosy and very well kept u can hav a suana and hot tub if you desire the walks are lovely a good place to relax.

Was such a lovely place, really clean & great views. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Home made cake on arrival was a really nice extra special touch. Milk in the fridge was a bonus to as I forgot it. Hot tube was brilliant the kids loved the whole stay. Would recommend to anyone and we would definitely stay again.

Just back from a lovely, relaxing four day break at Green View. We stayed in a great little lodge which was immaculately clean inside. We were even greeted to milk in the fridge, tea and coffee and some delicious home made lemon drizzle cake. We also made great use of the spa lodge which had a hot tub, sauna, shower, changing room and toilet. Emily and Gary were both really friendly and helpful and have a good knowledge of the area (thanks again for the run route! ) Our children enjoyed seeing their dog, cats, guinea pigs and rabbit too. All the family loved our stay there and genuinely didn’t want to leave at the end. We would definitely recommend here to any families or couples looking for a quiet, very reasonably priced base to explore the lakes. Hoping to be back again.

Just came home from a weekend away here with friends & their children had an amazing time. Lodge was so clean was provided with tea coffee and milk so we could have a cup of tea with home made cake the owners had made which was delish. Owners were lovely and friendly made us so welcome and were around for any query’s or questions. We booked the hot tub twice also which was amazing. Will definitely be coming back. Thank-you xxxxx.

We have just got back and will be booking again! What an amazing place, upon arrival we had been supplied with fresh milk coffee sugar and tea to make a brew and homemade cake which was delicious. The owners are amazing. Absolutely loved it. Couldn't of picked a better weekend either as the sun was beaming!

Really lovely place and people! Comfy beds, all the facilities you could want, plus a hot tub! Hosts really friendly and helpful. Very peaceful environment, close enough to the lake district without being stupidly expensive. Would definitely visit again!

Absolutely beautiful. The location is breath taking. So peaceful, the cabins are extremely well equipped and spacious and lovely and warm. The owner is so lovely and welcoming, definitely goes the extra mile to make you welcome. The hot tub cabin is fantastic. We don't want to leave and can't wait to come back. It's like a little bit of heaven on earth. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

This place is excellent, I kind of want to keep it a secret but it's not fair not to review it! Emily. And Gary are friendly and chilled out, but the place is immaculate, the lodges are very well equipped, and the hot tub is really good. Would definitely visit again :) thanks alot for your hospitality guys!

Just been for a short stay accommodation was great; cleanness was great; service was great will be coming again for sure.
