Beautiful place, lovely rooms. Garden is specially nice. Breakfast is very good.
Hard to recommend this place — We woke up to the sound of water pouring through the ceiling into our room. When we complained we were fobbed off with "what can we do if the room above has a shower" Well I would suggest you invest in your facilities! Not the best customer experience and a shock to the system when you think the ceiling may cave in — Look at the image — this is not a new issue — Must have been like that for a long time! The hotel is for sale on RightMove ATM so I cannot imagine it will be getting the investment needed by the current owners so my advice has to be to avoid until the new owners refurb — Who knows when that will be though!

Ornate and once magnificent. The decor and rooms are tired. The windows barely opened, and we didn't have much view unless we stood on a chair and looked out of the attic window. Despite that the bed was nice, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok. Not quite worth hotel pricing, more bed and breakfast level would give it some value.
