Fab hotel lovely helpful staff rooms are lovely spotlessly clean and spacious good food.

Could seriously do with a better cleaner as our toilet pan was disgusting from the previous occupant, how this was left ill never know, maybe staff should check her “ work” sometimes.

Great poached eggs. £5 car park charge. Batteries flat in TV remote and bad marks on hand towel. Batteries and towel changed on asking so many thanks.

Stayed just last night for a night away to relax and unwind. On arrival the lovely lady in reception upgraded us to superior room, this made our stay extra special as this is what we stayed in on our wedding night. All the staff are so helpful and polite. Room was great spacious and spotless clean. We used the swimming facilities, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. All the facilities where clean. Even on checking out this morning the maid said thank you and goodbye, sometimes it the little things that make your stay. We will definitely be returning again for a relaxed night away.

Excellent friendly staff, rooms clean bright and had air con! I had to ask reception for milk a few times though as house keeping hadnt restocked but they always did a great job of cleaning the room. The restaurant was very nice too despite the waiting times for food. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was lucky enough to win tickets for the Freddie Mercury party night and omg what a night it was the meal was beautiful staff extremely kind and helpful and I will definitely attend another party night here. Thank you.

Had gym membership but haven't been for 3 months. Decided to cancel it. Changing rooms are cold especially after swimming. Baby swim classes twice a week take over the changing rooms and most of the pool. Sauna rarely hot enough to get a sweat on. A few 'creepy' regulars that made me feel uncomfortable to which I complained twice about. Toilets not that clean. A 'Manager' who can't even say a good morning to you. All in all not impressed.

Very nice hotel, good breakfast and comfortable rooms. Bathroom could used a little updating but it was very clean and had excellent water pressure. Very peasant stay, would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel which presents you with lots of amenities like gym, spa etc. Wi-Fi is free and isn't too bad at all. Good location and you don't have to worry about headroom at the parking lot if you have a big van like I always do. They've got parking right next to the hotel for cars and a bigger parking lot behind the hotel. Breakfast was always amazing with lots of options. Customer service was very good too. Will definitely recommend if you staying in Middlesbrough.

I have come here with a coach group. The room has been clean and comfortable and the staff have been really friendly and helpful. As a group we were provided a menu with fairly good choice. The food was lovely.

Hotel is always well presented stayed here a few times, this time there was a stain on my bed sheet that looked like pen ink that had tried to be bleached out. Apart from that the room was tip top staff really friendly. Made use of the standard 12pm check out as well as the pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi that are in with the prove.

We were due to arrive at the hotel the month before for a university event, however this got cancelled due to the snow. Rearranging our booking was effortless and the team were very efficient and helpful on the phone. My wife and I decided to stay to get away from the kids, use the fitness facilities and have a meal out at a local restaurant. We arrived before our scheduled check in time but were allowed to park up and go into town. The shipping centres are just a five minute walk so this was very convenient. When we returned the customer service was excellent and the room was lovely. The gym facilities were great and the pool was a good temperature, with a relaxing sauna and steam room. After our meal at a local restaurant we came back for a cocktail each which was a decent price for a hotel and the service at the bar was fantastic. We then retired with a hot chocolate each to our room. Breakfast the next morning was very well equipped and once again a relaxing affair, with the service by the staff exquisite. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 1 night on business. First impressions on entering the hotel were how clean it was with such a lovely scent through the air con, you could smell it throughout the hotel. Checking in staff well presented friendly and helpful, commented on the scent the lady explained that it was jury's inn own signature scent. Bedroom very clean again a lovely scent beds very comfortable. Restaurant for breakfast wide choice and Bar done amazing G & T's staying here again in August.

Firstly I did not stay in the hotel. I used the hotel for the business suites upstairs. I was part of a training group. The hotel services we did use were great. The suites themselves were clean and had ample space. There were features such as built in projector screen. Aircon and various light settings. The staff were great too particularly the gentleman that brought refresgments and managed the room. He organised some fresh pastries for us on the final day. His name was Jake.

Everything was spot on. Lovely layout. Plenty of extras Inc a pool. Shane the mattress was hard and the rooms had very thin walls. Noisy and hard to sleep hence rating.

We stayed on a Saturday for an event during the day and then overnight. The hotel staff could not do enough for us. As a Coeliac I often have concerns over food, but they were more than happy to discuss gluten free food options for lunch, dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea. The conference room and the bedrooms were lovely as well. I didn’t check out the swimming pool or spa facilities though.

Stayed for 2 days. I requested extra towels and I got them. I also requested to move rooms and I did. Has a very nice sauna and steam room and an amazing breakfast buffet. Swimming pool is really nice.

I was a little dissappointed considering it is a 4 star hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the town centre and the service is very good. However, the room was small and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. My back was aching the next day. I could also hear people in the rooms on either side and in the corridor outside. The corridor was so loud I was woken by people outside my room in the early hours.

Staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Buffet breakfast high quality and almost every breakfast item you could think of was on offer. Bar and dining area lovely and relaxing with dimmed lighting and leather furniture. Facilities fantastic with modern gym and superb pool and spa with towels ptovided. Overall exceptional stay.

I attended a spa package. The swimming pool was very small and half of the pool was closed off till 11.30 for babies swiming lessons. The sauna and steam room were great, facial was fantastic and the staff were very helpful, smiling and efficient. I had a wonderful time only the pool that let it down.

Good room, clean, comfortable and good service.

The room was very nice really clean, comfortable and warm with temperatures controls available to adjust it. The TV had very good reception and the Wi-Fi worked without buffing out. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent, everyone in my group ate everything thing. We were so impressed that we will be going back again for other functions. The only thing I would do next time is request a lower floor room due to fact I don't use lifts.

Excellent place for xmas party, clean, modern and spacious bedrooms, excellent facilities. Good value for money. Lovely breakfast. Secure parking.

Very nice hotel, great facilities, good food, warm welcome. Rooms are a good size, although a little cool this time of year with no visible way to turn the temperature up, but the bed was really warm and comfy.

I’ve stayed quite often in the hotel when working away from home. I’ve always found the staff to be friendly, efficient and helpful. I think the breakfast is good although dinners can be variable in quality. Having said that, the dinner I had last night was the best to date and very good. The rooms are fine, clean and well appointed although a little noisy. I don’t think the windows are double glazed so traffic noise can be intrusive. Ultimately, I visit the hotel when working away from home so see it as a business/ working type of venue with good facilities.

Hotel was nice enough room was very nice but for an exec room, bathroom was far too small and in need of an update. Restaurant and bar is either retro decoration or is in need of an upgrade. Waited a very long time for our food. Expected a bit more from a 4 star establishment.

Stayed here for works training and loved my room. Food was lovely and staff very friendly.

Staff is friendly, the hotel is way too expensive for what you get, the rooms although clean, but far too small that the second lift was defective for days, the hotel management did not bother at all, too bad. Breakfast is really just greasy, typically English level. Positive is the location, you are right in the city.

Lovely hotel, good facilities although a little odd with the shared toilet to the pool/reception area.

The hotel was very nice, had a great atmosphere and seemed very high end (for somewhere in Middlesbrough anyway). The staff at the wedding which I attended were very polite and attentive. However there was a random chrismas tree in the reception in August.

Only stayed over night, never seen the Restaurant or had breakfast but the room was lovely the front the staff where lovely the area surrounding the building is town centre so a bit built up which limited the view from the 3rd floor. The bed was so amazingly comfortable I could I have easily missed check out!

Awesome hotel as per usual. When I'm in the area for business I always stay here. Good facilities and good restaurant and ideally located by pubs, gym, cinema and Nandos.

Great customer service couldn't fault the room. It was our 10yr wedding anniversary they upgraded our room and a bottle of wine. Very quite room just what we wanted had a lovely nights sleep.

Used due to convenience to James Cook hospital (1 mile south). Currently (Jul-17) hotel is close to large building construction site. However, hotel reception and checkin excellent and speedy. Restaurant also of high standard with varied menu, including GF choices. Pool and sauna looked nice from pictures but, alas, did not have time to sample this. Perhaps next time. Recommended as hotel for proximity to James Cook or central Middlesbrough.

Some rooms offer a view of the Tees, her waters flowing through this erstwhile industrial heartland, other rooms afford the patient observer with glimpses of rare northern wildlife. Blokes with Buddhist bellies and lasses with an orange glow…

Visited the Jurys Inn for an exam being held there. The staff were lovely and each one I encountered wished me luck which was really nice! The Hotel looked fantastic and the bar was really nice too!

We attended the New Year's Eve comedy night, we were recommended this by friends who had been previous years,
The comedy side was great however the venue staff were poor,
The door staff were rude and obnoxious especially the man called Ian who was quite confrontational with my husband when we pointed out he had the wrong amount of people wrote down on his creased torn piece of paper, we had email confirmation to confirm, he was quite adamant we were wrong still,
The seating arrangement were ridiculous small social type tables with no space in between to move to the bar/toilets quite a safety issue personally,
The bar ran out of buckets for the drink offers, in which we were served them on a tray straight out of the box warm, I refused this and wasn't going to drink it warm, suddenly a bucket was found, not sure why the staff had to open all the bottles at the bar? Making our drinks go flat by time we were ready for the last ones
It seems to me the have charged the same in previous years but cut back a lot on other things that makes a New Year's Eve party a party.
I think if these issues were rectified we would attended again as we did enjoy the entertainment part
The pie and pies were delicious although very hard to enjoy sat at those tiny tables with no room.

This was my seconds stay at the Jurys Inn Middlesbrough. I love it. Staff are really friendly, food is good and it's clean. Good facilities too, with gym, sauna and pool.

Completed an exam at the hotel. Good parking, easy to find and well catered.

We visited jury's inn for the first time to attend the Big Mouth comedy club which is usually held in the town hall. We were given arm bands on entry and given direction to the room. My partner went to the bar and ordered a pint of lager and a large coke. The coke was the right colour but totally flat and tasteless, the lager didn't have much fizz either but he was charged in excess of £7! We returned the coke and it was replaced by the lady at the bar and was warned ot was more rola cola than Pepsi / coca cola. We then asked for water and were told we would get that at the bottle bar… So after more queueing he was than charged £4.50 for a large bottle if water. I know these places need to make money but these prices are shocking especially the poor quality we experienced. When we did sit down the tables were disgusting. I used a napkin to try and clean it but there was dirt stuck solid as well as engrained grime. I won't be visiting this place again in a hurry never mind staying over!

The staff was unfriendly woman behind downstair bar at the bacl to the boys toilets and the dance floor lied and told her boss that my friend had called her a name when she never and had her removed from the bar and barred, this was absolutly horrible and I believ unfair as they never asked her if shr did and just believed the girl. I loved coming tot his club however I now would go somewhere else as this is just horrendous.

Easily located hotel with cosy rooms and great amenities including leisure club with swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout. Good food served daily (breakfasts always good! )

Nice hotel, great situated edge of town. Friendly staff. We were in 7th floor for new year with parties on in hotel but was lovely and quiet. The room was small but nice. Lots of sockets which was great. Car parking at side of hotel so that was great. We had breakfast there which was lovely. Not as up market as thought a jury's Inn would be but very nice.

I hear lots of people talking about this place and it confuses me.
