Great place to dine. The staff are friendly, helpful and go out off their easy to make you welcome. It's an excellent place for good food at reasonable prices and the menu and specials will fit all tastes without choosing a fortune. The restaurant has plenty of parking and is wheelchair accessible. I'd definitely recommend visiting here day or night to share a meal with friends and family.

OMG 5 pound for 3 courses of good food between 12 and 5. There is plenty of other options on the menu that are tasty. But it's the staff that sells it for me 5 STAR. I was eating a meal with my wife and the 6 month old baby was crying the staff offered to take care of him why we finished our meal. That kind if staff is priceless.

Wow what a experience for my first vist was waited on hand and foot nothing was to much to ask for food was delicious and worth every penny sat outside it was clean and tidy and enjoyed every moment would definitely come again.

Credit where it’s due, great friendly service, fabulous food, nice ambience. 3 course meal for £17 with a well cooked, delicious steak, great value for money.

Room was functional, pleasant, clean and very well priced. Great seafood both plentiful and cooked perfectly,. To be honest it is probably some of the best I have had and cheaper than any restaurant where I live. The staff in the restaurant/bar are a real bonus for the business. I doubt you will find a friendlier bunch who actually seem to love what they do. Yes there are more upmarket and expensive places to stay but for most folks this will be an ideal stopover.

Didn't realise they only had a carvery menu on a Sunday, and went expecting a pizza. That said the carvery (both adult and child) was of a decent quality with a good selection of meats and vegetables. Whilst this doesn't offer the same value as the midweek pizza and pasta menu the carvery at its price is well worth the money. The only beef I have with the sambucas franchise (as a whole) is the cost of soft drinks, but as the food is normally so cheap I'll let them away with that.

Good choice of menu — pizzas, pasta, chicken and steak dishes. Nicely served by friendly staff. Not Michelin star stuff but really good value for money.

Delicious food for a great price, staff very nice with good sense of humour, not overly attentive will leave you to eat your meal in peace but are there when needed.

Brilliant value, rooms tidy clean and comfortable, and as for the food (OMG) its fantastic, I worked in Italy for 15yrs and the pizza I had here was just as good as any ive had in italy and possibly the best ive had in the UK, as for value again outstanding, 3 courses for around £15 id of happily paid more given the quality, we are looking forward to staying here again for the food alone, that says it all. P. S. Im in no way affiliated to the hotel or Restaurant in fact I didn't even know it existed until today.

We were at a friends 50th birthday and though not a lover of dining out I what go back here again and again. Food was delicious staff were so cheerful and courteous. A great night out.

Absolutely fine — does what it says on the tin. Attached restaurant very reasonable and food good too. Certainly a cut above your usual hotel fodder. Have used a few times and will use again.

Out with the girls for a meal. The food was good as well as the service. Couldn't fault it. Would recommend it.

Week before we are first time go to windmill have a Sunday dinner. Meal is £7.99 a parson So we are have two meal and two pint italian beer total about £23.00
So we are on 17-09-2017 go back to eating again but this time have two meal and one pint and half pint larger total is £23.40
So I ask waitress she is took my moneys (I think change wrong? She is right you are have two meal and one pint larger is £3.50 and half pint is larger £2.00 so is right and than give me change £6.60 in than she leave me alone
Make me feel very Stupid come here So my husband said No more go there.

We went here for my nana and grandads anniversary and waited over an hour and a half for food starters to come asked twice how long ot was going to be for my children's meals as the kids were falling asleep to be told. Ot won't be long by the time it came nearly 2 hours after we sat down the kids meals weren't eaten and when identify. To pay the bill which had been agreed the barmaid tried to charge more wouldn't return.

Excellent value, excellent food and lovely attentive staff… couldn't ask for more really. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Will be returning very soon.

3 courses lunch special for under £5. It's not Micheline star dining, but it's always nice, always polite and a perfect lunch pit stop.

Fantastic hotel good value for money. We did not have any food in the restaurant but what we saw looked good. Room was clean tidy. The staff are very professional and polite. Well done to all.

Please tell Ishmael the owner we sent you :) I've only met him once, but he made our birthday party so exceptional that I'll make the trip back from Canada again just to return to the Windmill Restaurant! So much fun and GREAT food! Wow!
