Wonderful place, super sweet innkeeper and funny too. Rooms are very nice and water pressure is amazing. Also alternative to full British breakfast is great.

Had an amazing weekend for my 50th x our second stay at New Ing Lodge and it wont be the last. Bedrooms and shower amazing x spacious kitchen and living room area and even a bar. Beautiful place x ideal for large parties xxx.

Very nice rooms. Beds were very comfortable! Only had breakfast but it was absolutely amazing, wishing we wouldve had dinner there as well. Nice and helpful staff as well.

Loved this place! After walking from Patterdale and arriving tired and hungry, this Lodge didn’t disappoint! Bright and airy bedrooms, welcoming staff, outstanding food and cosy lounge areas made our stay here very comfortable. I also appreciated the homemade treats in my room and extensive range of herbal teas. Thanks for your thoughtful hospitality.

Lovely place excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. Went with a walking group, everyone enjoyed the stay there, and their comfortable bedrooms. Well worth a stay.

Had an amazing time for a surprise party for my husbands 40th, Scott was so helpful and the venue was perfect for a group of friends, spacious enough and we didn't feel we were on top of one another, beautiful venue and lots of lovely country walks, we will be coming back!

We booked out the whole place for a weekend. Great place, nice rooms, well kitted out kitchen and comfy and spacious communal area.

After a long days walk new ing lodge was a welcome sight. Spacious elegant bedrooms with modern facilities & refreshments with biscuits were of a high standard for our group of 9. There was a Large seating area with wood burner for relaxing, a bar and dining area. Eva provided a delicious breakfast and was attentive to our needs. Foods were locally produced, the jams, marmalade and butter were particularly memorable.

Fab. After a 20mile walk. Comfy room, great food and service.

The customer service and quality of the rooms are exceptional. Definitely recommended place to stay over night!

Great place, perfect stay over for Coast to Coast walk.

Stayed here during Coast to Coast walk. By far and away the best accom modation so far. Great rooms and really friendly staff. Cannot recommended it enough. As a bonus, the chip shop in the village served the best fish and chips I have ever had.

Amazing place amazing setting everything you need provided.

I stayed here recently with a large group of friends, occupying the whole property. The house is spacious, and well equipped, with a large kitchen, and a woodburner in the lounge with lots of free wood provided. There are shops, a couple of pubs, and a fish and chip shop close by. Eeva was really helpful, and even returned some items to me which I had left behind in my room. Thanks for a great stay.

I loved it, good atmosphere.

We have booked bedroom for two people and got really spacious room for 4 with bath to soak our sore muscles from walking coast to coast! We have also had a dinner and breakfast! It was delicious, homemade food. We have loved he stay there! The owners are young energetic couple, they are very friendly and helpful.

Some bedrooms have bunk-beds accommodating up to 5 people in one room. Lage kitchen, free Wifi, close to local shops and fish and chips. It's a B&B during the week and full house rental on weekends. Great for camping in the garden as it has outside toilet and shower.

We booked out the whole house for the weekend. Cannot fault it, value for money is outstanding. It is on the edge of the lake district so a car is needed to get to any lakes, its very close to shap abbey.

Booked out the whole place for a birthday party. Everything was perfect for our needs. Large, clean and lots of room out the back for our outdoor activities. 100% would recommend.

Absolutely great place the guys are lovely very welcoming and ultra helpful, room was brilliant wit a great view of the lovely Shap, the breakfast was to die for and set us up for the day ahead would deffo recommend new Ing Lodge and stay there again if I am ever in the neighbour hood.
