Just returned from a weekend away at Dorchester House. We received such a warm and friendly welcome from Lorraine and Simon, who were also really helpful in recommending food options. The rooms were spotless and the views were unparalleled.
And finally the breakfasts were delicious and enough to defeat our 7 year old (who has hollow legs…).
I can’t recommend them highly enough and I don’t think I’d ever stay anywhere else in Keswick now.
Just got home from a lovely stay. Lorraine and Simon were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. They made us very welcome. Excellent breakfast every morning. The family room was fantastic. Very spacious and clean. It is in a great location. It’s was our first time at the Lakes so we were very grateful for the fantastic restaurant recommendations from Lorraine. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely 3 night stay at the Dorchester. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The house is beautiful and clean. Great food we loved our Full English breakfast every morning. Location is good lots of shops and restaurants just around the corner. The room was fabulous with a stunning view of the mountains. Would highly recommend it’s a great place to visit. Will be going back with the children at some point.
