What can I say about this over priced, rude establishment?! Food is cold, barely edible! Staff are either deaf or forgetful! Waited 30minutes for ice cream and when the first lot arrived our trio of ice-cream was only a duo and when it came back again it was melted! Steak was cold, not rare like stated twoce! Chips cold. Sausage and mash came without gravy even tho asked for it! Had to ask 3 times for a steak knife, by the time one came my food was cold! Had to ask repeatedly to have our plates taken away! Wouldn't waste my money in this pit! Rude staff mediocre food! Get better service at McDonald's!
We had a lovely stay. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and came across as genuine. Our room was comfortable, well appointed and clean, with a view out over the ocean. We could walk out of our door and be right next to the landmark. The complementary breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options. Also included in the price were free passes to all of the attractions and some money off a cream tea — we would have liked to have tried these but didn't have time. A few complaints: the toilet roll was cheap and rubbish, the free Wi-Fi was pretty bad and a foghorn sounded in the night, waking us up and keeping us awake for about an hour.

Great location, room had fantastic view and restaurant has the same. Little surprised that the restaurant only served food for a couple of hours, and the bar shuts early. Wi-Fi is really slow, even with very few people using it. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. Looks like the place is undergoing some renovations, so some parts look fresh and new and others look a little tired. There are a few local attractions but really you come here for the view. Good for walking and photography or painting. Lots of places to by crafts and food. Would come again, but keep an eye out for special deals online as you may get free breakfast or free cream tea, or both like we did.
